Can someone give me a recommendation for the participant challenge? I'd like a good, not too long (12 or less episodes) either historical or sports anime because I watch these genres rarely so I'd like to give them a try. |

I really wanna recommend Haikyuu! to you, but that's 25 episodes long. It's so good though! Not gonna find too many sports anime less than 2 cours long, though. Haven't really watched many Historical anime myself. |

If you don't mind horror then I suggest Mononoke. Which is a horror/mystery that takes place in feudal Japan. One of my favorite series ever. |

If you're okay with very short anime Kaichuu! is about archery and it's 16 minutes and Teekyuu is about tennis and it's 24 minutes per season. For Historical anime I've watched Mai Zhu which is 11 minutes and Kujakuou: Sengoku Tensei which is 30 seconds. Girls und Panzer is set in the future, but it's about tanks and has themes based on WWII.Can someone give me a recommendation for the participant challenge? You guys think I can use the Cross in Cross Game as a verb for the verb challenge? because I can't tell if the title is using it in its noun, adjective, or verb form. :x Same applies to Touch but i'm already watching that for the age challenge. I'm just going to assume this mangaka loves verbs. This is the dumbest question yet lmao. Soooo... any answers? |

I don't understand that part.. » watch an original anime what's an original anime? at first I thought it was something not-mainstream but someone told me it's an anime that hasn't be adapted from a manga/light novel.. so, what is it? is soul eater not or byousoku 5cm original? if possible I'd like a couple recommendations to choose from.. |

_Hisoka said: Original anime means anything that isn't adapted from another source. Some sequels are technically anime original such as Love Live 2 or Tokyo Ghoul root A, but if the first season is adapted from another source that wouldn't count. Some anime with adaptions like K-On or Madoka are original anime that were adapted into anime. Soul Eater NOT is adapted from manga, but 5cm/s is an anime original. Anime adapted from video games also aren't anime original, so watch out for that.I don't understand that part.. |

_Hisoka said: An original anime is one that wasn't adapted from a manga or light novel or video game, etc. In other words, the anime was the first format the story was published in. A good example is the one you mentioned, Byousoku 5cm. That story first came out as a movie; the light novel later came out, based on the movie. Now, Soul Eater Not! is not an anime original because the manga format was published first for that series. After looking at your anime list, I suggest you check out the following anime original: Mahou Shoujo Madoka★Magica: Do not let the pics nor the summary fool you; this anime is actually dark and psychological. Kyousougiga: I suggest you check out the ONA first, because the TV series is like an extension/explanation of that one. In my opinion, if you don't like the ONA then you wouldn't like the TV series. Death Billiards: This is one of those anime that it's best not to say anything due to spoilers. |

(2006+, all genres expect yaoi/sports) Something interesting pls. Yama no Susume and Girls und Panzer are both cute anime that are adventure and action respectively. Yama no Susume has 39 episodes total, but you can think of it as 16 episodes because the episodes are short. Tokyo Magnitude 8.0 is about a future major earthquake that will take place in Tokyo. It's 11 episodes and I believe the story takes place over four days. It's an interesting watch. |
