Just happened to see your recommendation about Hikaru no go and Death Note. Sadly i have to tell you that they only share same artist, but not the same writer. (unless you know who Death note writer is :O) Both are really good shows, i agree on that part :D

I just saw ur review for Kare Kano and if u want to watch a series that is in the same category for graphics but doesnt leave that bitter taste at the end i recommend Hana Yori Dango english title is Boys Over Flowers yeah i know the english title is so misleading trust me there is no Shounen-ai or Yaoi in it trust me but when u were talking about Kimi ni Todoke and Say I Love You i said to myself I wonder if Hana Yori Dango is on this persons list and I am surprised its not to be honest I was for years saying nope not going to watch it bc of the graphics but then i thought well i have been proven wrong before when it came to bad graphic anime turning out to be an amazing experience and this was totally one of them I am not saying u have to watch it just a suggestion u wont be disappointed unless u like those bad ending animes then thats a totally different story but if u like the endings where the characters end up with each other then this is the series for u.
