Well it all depends on the series. When the series has cute girls I'd love romance in it.

For example I'd love for Tari Tari, Shirobako, and Hanasaku Iroha to have romance. Now I don't even mean like full on romance. I'd be satisfied if it was just a side focus.

No, but it can be possitve point of a series if done properly, but can drag a series become a mess if write poorly.

Only if it fits the tone of the story. If it's shoehorned in, it just distracts.

Why are you going into detail, this is a simple question.

I like usually like romance when there is romance but it does not have to be in every anime. So no.

No, some anime certainly don't need any kind of romance and would even lose focus of the storyline if they had.

"Ah, what? What? Who are you? Ahh another Undead, eh? I took on Sen's Fortress alone... But I'm no different from those vile creatures... I was driven by conceit... Ahh, you think you're different? That you can handle it? Yes, I remember that feeling. For I was the same... So let me help you out. With your souls searching."

Depends on the series. If it has slice of life aspects or tries to get you invested into certain characters, then yes it's a logical progression. If it's just war or action, then romance is unnecessary.

Too many anime focus on romance, however, many carry heavy subtext to the point where I'm screaming "JUST KISS ALREADY DAMMIT!", and those are the ones I WISH had romance.
lovelive is relevant and the rest is garbage

it's joke

Definitely not. I'm not a big fan of romance, especially not the mushy stuff.

I'm 27, and seeing people kissing makes me want to vomit. If it's a quick peck, I don't mind, but seeing people making out is just plain disgusting.

Yeah, why not. I love romance animes, and can get pretty upset when an action anime (such as Code Geass) doesn't develop any real love relationships ):

no. some people dont want romance in their anime and sometimes you might even feel in the mood for watching an anime without romance. Romance is probably my favourite genre, but there is a place for it. its very common in anime, but I dont think it should be in everything because it doesnt work for everything

No. Not all anime need romance, and some writers do a poor job handling romance.

Definitely not. In my opinion, there are few things more annoying than a needless, rushed romance thrown in just for the heck of it. I do enjoy a well-written romance, but I don't find having one a necessity in everything that I watch.

objectively: no, that would be really stupid and detrimental to a lot of series especially those that romance has absolutely no place being in.

subjectively: lol fuck yeah romance is what I mainly watch anime for anyway

Even though i personally wouldn't mind having romance in all anime, it would become monotonous and would dull the effect produce by each genre of anime.

Kinda depending but prefer romance over just a high sexual tension between the characters and the viewer.
