And thats why i mostly watch retro anime from 70/80/mid90s because japanese otakus back then werent such losers and actually had taste, so anime for losers wasnt getting made as much. | Slice of life anime are usually easy to relate to, and don't really need a plot. As long as the characters are decent they can pretty much go on forever as long as the fans are there. Also, lots and lots of potential for fanservice, of course. :D |

| Because people use an overly-broad definition of "slice of life" which encompasses anything set in modern times in a normal world as SoL, even romance/drama series that have a definite plot arc and are not merely slices of everyday life.
