| Very nice wrap-up episode. Awesome season.. Hopefully it can go for a third, and not take years to get here. I'm going to be patient and see if there is more evidence later on if Chihaya truly likes Arata in a romantic way.. Knowing her, it is possible she really meant that she just loves Arata similar to her love/obsession with karuta! But because he's the one who got her into karuta in the first place, I could see her "like-liking" him, as well. Though I am completely rooting for Taichi one-HUNDRED percent, I can't hate on the possibility of it ending as ArataxChihaya. |

| When Kanade was reading those poems that were obviously about Arata...I wanted to cry cause I was only thinking about Taichi. I want Taichi to end up with Chihaya, but Chihaya saying that she'll always love Karuta and Arata makes me sad. And where the hell does that leave Taichi. I really want to know what she thinks about Taichi. Hes the one beside her not Arata. I'm glad Kanade is pushing Taichi to do something, because he really does, otherwise he's gonna lose. I still think he has hope though. I think Chihaya takes Taichi for granted cause he's always there, but I wonder what would happen if Taichi decided to leave. |

| Taichi! Gotta make a comeback man! The original opening at the end was spectacular. And they added a funny part of Arata in the end, which really added to it! Still cannot believe this is the last episode. It was so good though! It left with a big cliff hanger though. Man. They did SUCH good job with this! Chihaya x Taichi FTW. I really do hope they make another season. |
| 4/5. Not a 5/5 cause I never or rarely give a 5/5 because I don't feel like it. But it's so damn cute, I can't handle my happiness at this episode because Chihaya confessed to Arate :) I hope it gets a S3 9/10 to whole Chihayafuru 2 |

| It's been a while I haven't been posting here on MAL but I just had to come back to say OMG WHAT AN AWESOME EPISODE!!!! Status quo were broken! Frigging Chihaya stopped being clueless (I specially like how I myself was going from "I like this focus on karuta more than the romance" to start thinking "omg she needs to be in love with Arata for all this start to make sense to me" right along with her character open up with her feelings in this episode). | This show is just absolutely beautiful. Every show went by so fast yet they managed to pack in so much emotions. Love the entire 2 seasons and heres hoping for a season 3. |

| it's finally over T___T love the show!! definitely my anime of the year!!!!! Chihaya has been conflicting alot. how Arata managed to keep his cool down during intense moments, especially facing Za Queen herself! yes they finally showed the scene with Chitose's magazine cover!!! so the reason why Arata has been strong was because he always remembers the old room where Taichi, Chihaya and himself used to play!! i do wonder if Chihaya feels the same? maybe it'll be the same reason how she can beat Arata or at least Za Queen! and i don't think Chihaya loves Arata in a romantic way, but it's more of a special relationship where it transcends where Arata has a special place in Chihaya's heart. kinda like the relationship between Big Boss and The Boss from Metal Gear Solid 3 though i was hoping Taichi ends up with Ayase! if Ayase ends up with Arata, then i respect that. i don't mind it at all, but it's kinda hard to see it coming, since Chihaya barely interacted with Arata over the year. they even have some awkward moments and was only be able to talk during the phone scene. ouch Chihaya having a surgery :( at least the operation is over with! you need to work harder Taichi!!!! even Oe-san! already notice how clueless Chihaya is!!! so Taichi here's your chance! that laptop!!! poor Eromu kun!! Chihaya managed to get Ms Sakurazawa's email address and even her phone number!! i think Sakurazawa knows Eromu likes her and probably doesn't want to cause any trouble. maybe sometime in season 3! btw who was Sakurazawa's voice actress? love her voice!! so Taichi and Chihaya are going to train in Fujisaka society!! awesome!! definitely Sakurazawa saw something potential for both of them! though what about Harada sensei!! :O let's go Chihaya and Taichi!! the only thing im disappointed is that we didn't get to see Shinobu chan and what she was doing after the event. only her salty look XD i hope for season 3 and more romance and more Za Queen scenes!!!! my favorite anime of this year and definitely a contender for the best anime of the year ^^ 100/10!!!!!!! | I think lot of people are overreacting with Chihaya confession. This isn't like that Chihaya love Arata and think about him like: I want go on date with Arata! Also please, manga is still ongoing and this isn't canon that Chihaya love Arata in romantic way. I support Taichi/Chihaya, but I like Arata/Chihaya. But looking at some Arata/Chihaya fans, I really have hope this paring never happen, because of fans who are... I will refrain from comment. |

| At this point in the manga, what she said about loving karuta and Arata is absolutely canon, that is what was written. As for anything after this, we aren't supposed to spoil past this episode... but the anime did not embellish what was written there, that is what she thought, "All my life I've loved karuta, I've loved Arata." Simple as that. Nothing more, nothing less. |

And concerning LittleStar's comment about Arata/Chihaya, look at the last few pages and you'll see his point. You have yourself only responding to a troll comment, forming a group of people who seemingly only came here to flame/rub dirt in Taichi fans' noses. And even when I tried to have a discussion with some of them and show them why I perceived it the way I did, I got barely anything more than "you're just in denial" So with a large a percentage of the Arata fans being people dedicated to trolling Taichi fans while not offering legitimate discussion, you also have a large percentage of them being... well, girls that love Arata/hate Taichi because "Taichi will never beat Arata both in karuta and in hotnesss, his accent is sooo sexyyy~" So it's natural some people would think the way LittleStar does. But I'm curious, what would you say it is about Taichi fans that would make a Taichi x Chihaya pairing undesirable? Have they done much other than root for Taichi because he is a relatable and genuine character? |

| That was a good finale. There's a chance for season 3,even though dvd/blu-ray sales are weak,the anime adaptation is boosting the manga sales,that's why we got season 2. After watching the series,there's only one thing I didn't like about the series, dem taichi fans,read this thread,and you'll see why lol. |

The LAST thing we want is to tarnish this anime thread with a flame war. This is something I absolutely do not want to see for this series even though it ended (thanks god). Also, compared to fans of other series, this fanbase is overall quite positive already (actually because of large female fanbase). Go on Valvrave forums and see what's going on there. |
