Got my first bandai order from right stuf and banner of the stars collection had a damaged disc because it came loose during shipping. Wonderful. Now I have to hope that the replacement comes in before I move on Friday so I can check and make sure it's ok. Something tells me that isn't going to happen. :(
Well, I was an intern at the same place about 3 years ago, and my old bosses e-mailed me to tell me to apply for the spot. I'm just assuming that it's mine at this point, but life can pull some nasty stuff sometimes, lol.
As for phi-brain, not sure it'll make it to blu-ray since it hasn't been dubbed by Sentai. I find that rule to be ridiculous, as I would love to have hidamari sketch on blu-ray. All I can do is purchase the dvd and find a higher quality version online. :(
As for my macbook, the dvd drive stopped working and the battery was bad, too.
Ok then, how about your thoughts on Black Cat and Rurouni Kenshin: Reflection? Curious if you're one of the majority that hates Reflection with a burning passion.
Totally agree with you about the OVA. Honestly, the art style reminded me a lot of K-ON!. it's just OK, so I don't think I'll take the time to watch the series.
Also, yes, it's a small price to pay. Just annoying is all.

Oh yeah, looks like I'll be moving for a job. Money, yay! The only downside is that I'll have to cough up a monthly fee for anime network on demand, which is something my current cable provider offers for free. Lame!
I can get where you're coming from on that. Some things I kinda had to half-ass the rating for as it's been too long since I saw certain shows, especially ones I saw on TV as a kid and not since.
If you like shows with seriously goofy characters then you should check out And yet the town moves. I enjoyed it very much. Especially the math teacher and the narrator.

I checked out the 1st episode of Phi-Brain, and it took itself WAY too seriously considering the content of the show. Not worth watching.
