" I still think on the inside we are the same lil tomboys! Hahaha. Now we just look hot doing it!" - Yes! Exactly! I can go hiking in heeled boots and look great while carrying like 70 pounds on my back, fear me XD I'm lucky to live in a place that has a lot of nature and whatnot nearby. I'm thinking of moving in like the next year or so to a place that has less, so I'll miss it. I lived in a city for a while and it was so weird since I was used to walking outside and seeing the stars or hearing crickets at night and instead it was just loud cars and people arguing at 3 am over who needed to pay what for pizza.

I guess it depends on your definition of a big con goer, but back in the day, I went to about 5 or 6 a year. I've slowed down a lot, but still enjoy going to them. Oh wow! What was Anime Expo like? That is lucky, my mom was like, "What is this?" and really made fun of me for enjoying it, but to be fair, she did that about anything I liked. :/ Thanks, mom.

Oh nice! Congrats on graduating! It's good to take a few months off to enjoy yourself if you can, in my opinion, I mean, in theory, once you find a job, that is what you're going to be doing for the rest of your life so might as well have one last big celebration for yourself! Oh goodness, I feel you. My mom was very much "the second you are finished with HS, I want you out". Thankfully I had scholarships for college, tho. I guess kind of both as I have found myself feeling unfulfilled with current job so teaching myself programming so that I can do that instead. I want to feel more like I am making a difference and make cool stuff instead of simply just pulling a paycheck.

Alright, if I find the series, I'll let you know. :3 I'm still not done... I regret stopping... I have no idea why I did, but picking it back up again has made me feel more like myself. I like keeping records of things for some reason.

Hope you had a good weekend =D

Same! Then when I was like 13/14 I changed my entire look and now live in heels and dresses. I will still totally climb trees in said heels and dresses, tho. Wow! Here I find more girl fans, but maybe I got lucky. Honestly, once you find one of us, you tend to find the rest of the pack. We hunt together for the next big anime to watch and squee over. I've met quite a few fellow girl anime fans at cons and through meetup groups irl, tho :3

Oh nice! You actually reminded me to call mine. :3 I'm always so busy that I forget to call sometimes. I'm sure seeing them was great! I miss the days of my youth when I could spend more time with them. Downside of growing up... and bills. XD Could do without those.

Hm, I will have to go through my pile of Shoujo manga, because if I recognize her, it is probably from there. Or could just be a similar style. My confession - I still have a ton of stuff I need to put into my database here. I was lazy for a while and didn't update anything. All the regrets. XD

hai hai! thanks for accepting!! no I haven't played any, I'll try to find Dramatical Murder on the japanese apple store =]
Sai_Fujiwara Mar 10, 8:28 PM
Yes! Exactly! A good Shounen series just feeds the soul! (My Hero gives me life!) I personally have found my girl friends who also enjoy anime irl enjoy Shounen just as much as any boy, but we were also the kids who were busy climbing trees and being all around nerds so maybe we're just weird. :p

Anyways, it's nice to meet you! How are you? Hope you are having an enjoyable weekend. Your profile pic is adorable! I feel like I have seen her before, but can't put my finger on it. Who is she? :3

Ok. Like I said, I asked if I sent one since I couldn't remember
The fact that you used a slash mark between the two types of people made me wonder. I don't say slash marks because I find them uhhh robotic. Or inhuman. I guess you used it because its the shortcut version of and
When I think of those kinds of people I picture having long beards like from Duck Dynasty. I like facial hair you know. Thats one thing I find cool about them. Driving a truck seems cool to me. Some of their accents are cool, because they sound southern except they seem to be accents that branched out of the southern accents family hence rebelish. Those are some things I find cool about them
By Dixie I mean the south. You know, the southern accent in general. If I have to say an example, they say "fraaah'ed chicken" instead of "fried chicken" In the confederate song they say Dixieland, referring to the south
I dont understand. Why do you ask yourself? I feel like people found my question silly or something when I ask that. Or I'm looked down upon. I mean its just a question. So you dont have to ask yourself to repeat it. I also get the impression that you dont like answering that question so you asked yourself that. Or maybe you weren't sure so you were thinking. But it isnt necessary to indicate you are thinking. If you want take your time before answering, not saying you have to do this when talking to me
You're familiar with the name and the accent? Or just the accent? Yeah its a popular Britonnic accent. I asked because there many people here who likes them. I myself don't, only certain ones. Some accents sound silly. There are ones here that also sound primitive
Not to sound like an [A word] and I'm sorry if you feel offended, but saying about me having an accent makes me feel cringy. Because not everyone has an accent. Mentioning the phrase "have an accent" or "having an accent" seems to me like treating people with accents in a special way, I mean seeing accented people as different people from people without them. With or without, all humans are humans. I'm just trying my best to explain how I feel
I can speak the accent. But I'm not a Londoner. Living in London gave me cockney influence. I can also speak the accent of where I'm from (Bedfordshire if you're curious). But really, I don't have an accent. I grew up watching shows with non Brit accents and shows with Brit accents, including cartoon and real shows. Used to learn how to speak a US accent (non southern) but I'm not completely there yet, I just like the US accent because most things are pronounced properly
Russia is east Europe. There was some immigration before the civil war. Ivan Turchin is from Russia. He immigrated to the US and was in the Union army
Of all the time I've been in MAL I have never seen anyone say well as much as you do
Rondalnis Feb 1, 2:00 PM
Yeah I don't know what's wrong with northerners. I wish all Americans weren't like that. Southerners are nice and many of them are friendly. Also I find rednecks and hillbillies cool. Except for the part where they get wet in mud. I would prefer to live in the backwoods than in the city or neighbourhood. Would you? I'd be surrounded by nature and I can hunt or fish for food, which is fun. Have an accent of Dixie? lol

Do you like England accents?

What do you think of the cockney accent? Here are some examples:

Have any ancestors who were in the civil war?
Right now no seasonals but I'm watching completed shows

I knew you'd say that, working during school. Honestly, I didn't work during tenth year because I didn't want to. I wanted it to be my final year of being unemployed. When was your first job? Were you working during the summer breaks or what?
For undergraduate, I studied economics. While in postgraduate, I'm studying international business

I am 100% English
The reason I was asking which state is because most Americans I've chatted with in MAL either didn't ask any questions or rarely did. For instance, if I asked how they are doing, they'd just answer the question but wouldn't ask the same question to me in return. They never asked any questions during our conversations. These types of people are cancerous. And I find it pretty hard to chat with these people. What's the point of meeting people if you don't wanna know anything about them?
The only people that asked questions are from the south. While the only non southern people who asked questions had this written on their profile:

I accept random friend requests

Or

Feel free to have a conversation with me. I like meeting people/Talk to me etc.

It's dissappointing, really. Most non Americans I've met in MAL asked questions. Literally from any other country

Oh. I do know that Kira is a good guy in it. Watching any seasonals?

Rondalnis Jan 29, 5:40 AM
Well I've been working while on education for a long time. Even before university. My first job was during eleventh year. I also took breaks from uni so that I can work and earn money, but I didn't work all the time during every break. I just lived at home because I wanted free time. After finishing my undergraduate studies, I didn't go to post graduate studies right away. I was working. Right now I'm on my final term in university, but I'm not working right now
Judging from the location of where you live, I take it you're an American. Due to my curiosity, if it is fine that I can ask this, what ethnicity are you? Which state are you from also?
Gappy? I don't remember. I haven't read it for a while
Rondalnis Jan 23, 5:26 PM
Ofcourse it is
Its okay now
Nice! Part five and part six were my faves, part eight is a remake of part four so its like Morioh in a different universe
So you're working? Or?
Rondalnis Jan 22, 5:55 AM
Not good
Yeah away with that crap lol
I see you like Lotgh and JoJo, read the JoJo manga?
Rondalnis Jan 21, 7:42 AM
Hey how youre doing?
kawaii-despair Aug 17, 2017 12:01 PM
I'm really not... I can't find a single thing to like about summer tbh, but that's just me.
Same, I haven't played any Persona game more like i dont play games in general and i just watch playthroughs and while I liked P4(the game that got me into this franchise) P5 is simply a masterpiece. Favorite as in characters? If so pleasant boy Akechi sure is on the top, followed by actual best boy Yusuke and best girl Haru~ (I love all the phantom thieves tho, they all are great)

Ufff I don't deserve any pity since I did it on my own lmao. I always do that, i'm a sucker for spoilers;; I actually discussed about them with some MAL users before soooo I'm not alone in the sinning boat. I'm still as excited as before for the game tho :)
I'm not against english voices usually. I mean yes, I'm always for original voices and such but if the english voices are great like sdr2, p4 and p5 I kinda prefer it english. That's not the case for ndrv3 apparently... Kaito's and Ouma's voices are..... UGHH
kawaii-despair Aug 8, 2017 10:27 AM
Don't worry, i get you :) i'm doing pretty fine, i just hope the summer would just end already haha.
I dunno why but i become less and less interested in seasonal anime by each season... I just don't find stuff to catch my attention anymore and I drop half of what I try. This summer i'm enjoying Koi to Uso and bnha s2 even tho the latter is part of the spring line up ^^; I also waste time on short stupid shows like aho girl and netsuzou trap cuz why not ahah... My life is consumed by Persona 5 right now tbh uwu
That's good for you, since I couldn't ;; I already know almost everything about that game but I'm still waiting for a complete lp so I can understand the whole thing,, I wish the people who does let's plays would play the game in japanese tho...it has great voices while the english ones are.....ehhhh
