| Suzaku from Code Geass...I feel like he's misunderstood. And also, he's kind of realistic as a teenager. If I went through what he went through, then I would do a lot of stupid things too. He's also morally ambiguous and interesting to observe. I may not like him as a person, but I like him as a character. Conversely, I find every character in Death Note to be unlikable, even L. They were are all either crazy (Light), stupid (Misa), or cold and boring (L). They were interesting to watch because the series itself was interesting, but I feel like they just lived off their quirks and nothing else. I liked the series a lot though. |

| Ui Nakatsugawa from Hoshizora e Kakaru Hashi. I really don't get why most fans of that show hate her. I think she's one of the funniest characters and seems to have the most chemistry with Kazuma, but it seems like most fans of that show like or want either Madoka or Ibuki to end up with him. |

I think I've already said mine, but I'll do so again to illustrate the kinds of characters which are actually relevant here: General Blue Namie These are obviously samples rather than a 100% accurate representation of the entire anime fanbase, but it's a fairly large sample and represents the population well enough. MAL only has favourties and not hated characters, so anime-planet is good for checking how hated a character actually is. I mean the characters people are listing range from relatively well liked to outright loved. |

From what I heard from OP fangirls, they hated Nami for "getting in the way" of Zoro-Sanji yaoi pairing.
