| OH RAILGUN! This is a bit of a side note, but some of the problems I had with the Index series is that it had fairly shallow characters that weren't developed, the antagonists were usually either "OMG I'M SO EVIL" (though granted that happened in Railgun too) or the tragic villain (or sometimes both, I'm still not sure how they made that work) and the battles were too filled with moral faggery. Now, aspects I like about the franchise as a whole (i.e. both Railgun and Index) is the really engrossing setting, particularly the science side. I mean, espers are cool and shit, but they developed it more than just that, the city itself was developed. There aren't many shows that develop the setting itself, and the franchise makes it interesting, if not a tad convoluted at times. I really liked Railgun because it developed the characters really well, particularly Saten during the Level Upper arc, and it develops the relationship between the characters as well. This is in addition to the flashy battles, the nice character designs and the entertaining plot. I'm being quite reserved, but I really really really like this series, and am hoping so much that this series is as good (if not better) than the last. On that note, I've heard that the plot for this series will be better than the last, and since it involves the sisters, I really eagerly await this. | Great episode. Loved seeing Yomikawa for more than 5 seconds too. I hope overly hilarious Kuroko is shown in the next few eps. Soooo can`t wait to see Shizuri <3.Actually somewhat excited for next week. The anime watcher in me is still alive! |

| Whoop. I'm so happy this show is back. Though I felt this episode wasn't really anything special, Biribiri and the animation was still as cool as ever. I loved the Sisters Arc in the manga so I'm super excited about this season. OP is misleading but awesome as well. |

| Isayama Hajime should be awarded The Manga with The Highest Inconsistencies of Characters' Appearances. He keeps performing multiple plastic surgeries on those Shingeki No Kyojin characters in a SINGLE chapter. Yes, I've read up to the latest chapter of Shingeki No Kyojin manga. Forced myself to read through the kidsketching chapters after the anime's ended. At least from now on, I only have to go through the hell once a month. Patiently awaiting SNK TV/movie/OVA anime-sequel. The 2015 SNK live-action movie would probably suck. |
| Hahahahaha! It's great having this series back. fripSide OP is awesome as expected, I really love their songs! (Also digging the lightning effects used in UTW-Mazui's karaoke). | The Railgun is back with a bang! That's Mikoto for you, awesome as ever and always ready to spring to action to save her friends. How I've missed the girls. I remember wanting to see a sequel featuring Mikoto's POV of the Sisters Arc, and here begins that long-awaited sequel now. Seems another one of Academy City's Level 5 espers has also been introduced. She's definitely going to play a part in this later on, and I'll be looking forward to that. |
| I already wrote my overall feelings of the episode on my blog but I have to say the scene of her thinking about how to make the present a surprise was one of the best scenes in either season of the show so far. It was just so damn cute while being entirely in character. I really hope they have more scenes with her acting all dumb-moe like that and being more like the silly teen girl she actually is. It did come up every now and then in season 1, but it's a side of her that definitely isn't the top most often seen layers. |

| Well the plot proper hasn't started but a good re-introduction ep into the series. I kind of wanted more romantic development between Touma and Misaka though. |

Lone-wolf vs Leader, Naive to a fault vs Manipulative and realistically bound, etc. While she isn't introduced until after the Sisters Arc, she is in no way a bad character. She actually is quite the enigmatic character on the level of Kumokawa Seria from Index. Lastly, Touma doesn't appear in the manga until Chapter 31 (after Mikoto's fight with ITEM). The sisters Arc starts in chapter 18 (aka next episode). I have to wonder though. Why do you hate Touma so much? He is one of the best characters in the entire franchise only closely followed by Accelerator. |

| All hail Mikoto and her biribiri glory! Excellent first episode and getting to see two extremely powerful espers like Mikoto and Misaki on the verge of fighting was so enticing! Yep, looks like Railgun S is going to be my favorite anime this season! 5/5 9/10 so far for Railgun S |

| I'm less of a fan of this series then most people here. Misaka annoys me, even if it's very subtly, something about her personality. Not expecting much out of this. 4/5 for this episode |

Or we are seeing yet another case of changes made that impacted users but not communicated to them? I wonder how long people would put up with this. As much as I have a bunch of information to share about anime announced recently I cannot share it in news board, and the anime series is too disorganized and chaotic to share information except with people already interested in the particular series. |

Part of the reason why I love Railgun infinitely more than Index is because he's not the main character in Railgun. Either way, I'm just happy to Mikoto and Kuroko again. | Decent episode. Reminded me a lot if the first episode of season one xD I have high expectations for this season from what I read in the manga. Hoping to see lots of action and angst. The only character I actually genuinely like in index/railgun would have to be Mikoto.. I never did understand why people like Accelerator so much...Hes kind of creepy and cold. xD imo. If Mikoto weren't in the Index/Railgun series I wouldn't watch.xD Shes my favourite character in a series that isn't my favourite. How odd. |
| Awesome first episode just like the last season's. And well, there's really nothing to say about the great Tokiwadai's Railgun. She's great as always. Just hope to see more of Touma and Accelerator this season. And also more fights. Index needs more of Misaka and Railgun needs more of Touma :( |

I know they appeared from the last season but my memories have failed me... Also did Misaki show up before? She's so familiar... Did she appear in Index? |
