| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- LMAO @ Mutta's comment about Kenji's harem! The most hilarious scene in a while! XD And did I misunderstood? Azuma is going to replace Hibito? Or just join them? :S But I think he's really going to replace him (and Damian) so that Hibito can come back to Earth and the story can move on in a different way. Otherwise, only a major time-skip would let Mutta and Hibito meet again. It's a shame that Nitta couldn't pick up his phone on time, but I still find it weird that someone like Vincent Bold would allow him to carry his phone for an excuse like that... Well, maybe it's not Bold's decision. |

I just had to laugh. Well, Hibito is recovering from his accident a while back. Azuma replacing him isn't that surprising. Next episode looks like an emotional one. | I just notice that Apo and Serika has the same VA, no wonder she can smell the food out so quickly. Nitta shouldn't blame too much on his self.It is not his fault of his brother being hikkimori. |

| I wonder: 1. How much time has past since Hibito's accident? 2. It should still take time to prep for a launch to send a replacement crew. So Azuma shouldn't be leaving tomorrow, right? 3. Will we see Hibito actually show outward depression over coming home early? He's always presents himself as upbeat. |

| Really liked this episode. Liked Nitta's backstory about his brother. It's not totally comparable to the Nanba brothers, but there are similarities, so I can see why Nitta would act that way around Mutta. It's probably just me, but the title 'Space Brothers' is starting to not focus exclusively on Mutta and Hibito anymore, and I love how they're doing it. Also regarding Azuma replacing Hibito, would sending him back immediately to Earth be a hassle? I mean sending him on a spaceship alone wouldn't be the best idea, not to mention a waste when you're sending another team to the Moonbase. But Damian's not in any condition to conduct missions on the Moon either I guess, so that's two being sent down? Ah, guess we'll find out sooner or later. Next episode seems like it'll be good between Nitta and his brother, so looking forward to that. Laughed so hard at the harem comment. I thought it was something serious for a second there. xD |

| I could understand the phone rule exception if his brother had a terminal illness or something and could die at any given day.. But, he's alive and well. Nitta could just ask for him to call again after the training is over. Oh well, maybe I would have reacted the same way in Nitta's place. | Hmm, interesting episode. So it was just that Nitta needed to find his phone ... I thought he needed to go back and leave the training. Figures that Mutta would help him and have a plan! Smart of him to mention the phone lighting up ... and how he knew where it was! I'd completely forgotten about him being knocked down last episode ... I kept thinking, "What if they passed it already?!" Just like Nitta! :P Oh the other hand I don't understand why Nitta's so upset about missing the call ... JUST CALL HIM BACK?! O_O Like isn't that the obvious thing to do?! I wouldn't have thought he'd be given special permission for something like this though. Ah well, who knows ... probably wasn't Bold that gave it then lol :P ALSO LOL KENJI AND HIS HAREM XD I thought that Mutta'd forgotten something important ... BUT NOPE XD Ahaha oh you :P |

| Hahaha. Mutta missed out on a harem. Ah well. I'm actually quite a bit more interested in Nitta after learning about his brother, especially given his previous remarks to Mutta. Kazuya reasons for locking himself up also interest me. I know it's a bit of a sensitive issue in Japan, but couldn't they like... stop taking care of him to force him out? Most men would rather work than starve. On the other hand, we don't know his mental state; pushing him too hard could result in a suicide. (I'm not expecting this to be explored much given the tone of the show, but it's interesting to think about.) |
