^More than 50 cases were reported in 2012 from Singapore where attractive girls would seduce horny dudes into cybersex and film them....only to later blackmail them.

Here is a reenactment:

"Don't act blur."

That reenactment was pretty hilarious.

But this is pretty disgusting. The sad thing is, most people would think this situation is funny. I've seen it so many times in "romance comedy" anime and manga.

Boy gets caught doing something perverted by a girl. She blackmails him to do whatever. Hilarious.

If it were the other way around, and it were a girl getting blackmailed, people would be screaming "Pervert! Sexual abuse! Disgusting pig man! Poor girl!" and it would be labeled NTR.

Guy gets sexually harassed = joke.
Girl gets sexually harassed = crime.

Enough guys blackmail women online, it's about time women start doing the same thing(even though it's probably a loop and it's a guy behind of it). I've actually got a list of sites they should target, guys are horrible on cam sites.

When the cause is that they were horny and reaching out to strangers, then no, I feel no sympathy for men or women. Both are adults and should know better, including how to not get bullied. Now if they were underage then it's a much more serious matter, and they can't really be blamed as much.

Except half the time for girls it's not that they were looking to do something perverted in the first place, but rather the guy ends up assaulting her in some way. You don't hear of many girls on cam sites looking for hot guys to get off to (do sites like that even exist?), but these guys were basically asking for it.

So, in short, zero sympathy.

If you go on any cam site, within 5 minutes of a girl going on cam to talk to friends, people are saying take your top off, you're so hot, etc. For guys, they are naked when they first get on cam.

Except, they weren't strangers. Technically, they are, but if you read the article, it stated that these women were contacting the men first, establishing relationships on facebook and other social sites, and then they themselves initiating the web-chats and pressuring the guys into sexual activities.

Except, not if you read the article.

Is it naive and stupid? Absolutely. But if this story were about women getting blackmailed, I guarantee you there would already be multiple pages of comments stating about how it is disgusting, shameful, etc.

If you wouldn't want it shared publicly then you shouldn't do it. Whether it be 'secrets', nude photo's, or video's. Whether it be men or women I feel much the same on that. I don't have any pity for anyone, especially young people, who willingly provide such things to another party.

It's the same with crowded trains and buses. If a guy touches some girl's ass and she reports him his gonna have some cops in his face with really angry looks, if a girl craps yours balls and you report it the cops will be laughing and pointing at you.

I think people are laughing at the reenactment, not the situation itself. Reenactments of girls being abused are hilarious too.

I remember seeing some sexual assault reenactment videos in health class once and our whole class was dying from laughter, much to the distress of the teacher.

What about the fact that it could come back to haunt your professional career/ability to get a job? I'd say that's worth serious consideration for many people.

:'D Funny, this happened to me except, that I got nudes. Who ever was on the other side, said she was a girl, wanted me to send nudes too. I sent her some pictures I found on Google. After that she tried to blackmail me into giving her 10,000$. This made my day, I cracked up and blocked her, wishing her a nice day.

It's pretty obvious that they are fakes, girls are the cautious ones online the chances of a girl starting a chat with a guy are pretty low and those idiots that fall for this trick deserve zero sympathy. Sir Pigeon is completely right though, if they are underage it's a completely different matter.

I've never understood why guys show anything to anyone. I've gotten plenty from girls (though I did know them for awhile beforehand) and I never even let them hear my voice, let alone see me or my junk. That's not bragging or anything, girls on the internet are easy, and that's all varieties from the hotties to the fatties so I see no reason to go whipping your dick out unless you have some kind of fetish about showing it off. If a girl is asking to see your dick, something is up unless you've known each other for a long time, she's done sexual stuff for you, and she just wants something in return finally.

For the record they were all of-age, deal with it feds.

Point being - do guys really get off by showing their dick to people? The fuck is that all about?

For getting naked? I sure wouldn't want any of those jobs anyway then. There are more than 3 and a half billion penises in the world (not counting ones not attached to people, nor those with more than one penis, nor women which have a penis). There's going to be double that within 30 years. And all of use get naked every day, usually multiple times per day (shower, sex, whatever else). I really don't see it as a big deal about getting naked. And you better inform those millions of cam girls that they won't be able to get a job in the future because they've shown their bodies. Sorry but you're not special and this isn't a big deal at all.

If you're planning to run for President or something in politics, this could indeed hurt your chances. Good luck with that though.

Actually, it is kind of a big deal in some scenarios. If you want a recent example of losing a job over having shown your body off in the past just look at Pawn Stars. They had hired a part-timer girl who they later found out worked as a model for Suicide Girls and she was promptly fired upon the discovery because the channel didn't want to promote that kind of stuff. As far as I'm aware, once this went onto all the news sites, she's been unemployed since as well.

That's not much of a counterpoint. You can claim that for every job, but the fact is almost any employer will not want someone who has worked anywhere near the porn industry or has any lewd material of them around online whatsoever. For all sorts of reasons. This is the real world, not happy 'this is normal anyway were all people' hippie land. Hell, you can get fired or skipped over for hiring for looking like an asshole in a facebook picture - let alone having someone email them a video of you jerking off.

Plus the more social side of things - as showing your friends and family that stuff would definitely cause complications for many people, or at least extremely awkward situations. Again - real world - mom might have seen your dick as a baby but it's different when you're in your 20s or 30s and also whacking it off.

They fired her for other reasons on paper, while the real reason was clear given she did nothing as far as her actual employer (the store owner) said, but History Channel made them get rid of her RIGHT after finding out that information.

You can't sue if they can claim it's for something else.

You can fire a guy for being black as long as you say it's because he was late once instead.

edit - not to mention, suing a massive company like the History Channel or whoever owns it would cost a shit ton of money, more than you'd get in return even if you won or had a settlement.

That's funny. Of course you can still sue them. You think all the people who win those cases go up against companies that kindly bend over and say, "Yes it's true we fired him because he's black :D"

I don't understand it either, but I go on some cam sites. And there's always only like a couple of girls online with the camera pointing to their face wanting to talk to people. And then like 50 guys all with their webcams pointed at their junk, constantly going on other cams "I'm about to cum want to watch", and all that other stuff.
