Great Ending!

Was the girl at the end Futaba? Tsubomi's daughter in the future?

I was thinking it was Futaba.

Anyways, that was one amazing last episode. The Infinity Silhouette was so awesome. I was literally crying at the end to because it was so happy. I'm glad I watched this whole series and I'm really glad I spent a two whole days catching up so I could watch them as they aired.

So Precure now can do power ranger combination mode? Well, I admit that Infinity Silhouette is damn cool and pretty.

It could have been a lot of better if it didn't suffer too much dragging in the middle of the show and didn't go anywhere at all while they should have use those episodes to develop some of other stuffs instead.

The really outstanding thing about this show is the art that it will make any Precure look cool no matter what. Nothing in Mahou Shoujo anime that I have seen can beat the art in this show when it comes to trying to make its characters look cool.

Anyway, 7 out of 10 from me.

Great ending, I really like.

1. Itsuki looks good with long hair and the girls uniform
2. Its good that Kobraja, kumojacky and Sasorina are doing good with their lives.
3. The ending was wierd. Is Futaba holding the perfume? Is really Futaba?
4. next week new precure series, hope that someone fansub it.

I thought I was going to hate the deus ex machina end, but Mugen Silhouette and Dune with the Earth as a backdrop was beautiful.
Epilogue was so much SQUEE~ Standing on the hill and declaring "I have done something incredible!" was so perfectly dorky of the girls, basking in their own glory. And Tsubomi is going to be an astronaut!
I'm still feeling light-headed from how sweet and dorky and reflective and fitting that was.

EPIC ending! God damn it, i'll miss that great anime :(

Still hard to imagine the reasons that forced them to do a new precure serie instead of a second season... And even if i'll have a look at Suite Precure, the preview at the end of HC 49 doesn't look very good... It's more like Magical Doremi than regular Precure :(

Now I know why they have to summon a huge lady during their best attack - just in case their opponent is as large as planets.

Show was freaking amazing. Had a few painful episodes (mainly the episodes not involving any plot), but basically every other episode (and ESPECIALLY 33-49) made up for those eps.

There were times I had to skim the predictable, plotless filler episoodes, but other than that this was a fantastic series. My favorite rotated throughout the entire thing, until I saw the movie and it stopped with Tsubomi. I'm glad I stuck with it instead of dropping it after episode 7.

For an anime that mainly targets young girls/children, I'm truly impressed; it was really fun to watch. I admit it felt like it was dragging with the 'monster of the week' episodes, but considering the audience it was meant for, I don't mind. Loveable characters, great action/transformation sequences, amazing soundtrack and VAs, and, most of all, beautiful art!

The magical girl genre usually doesn't interest me, but Heartcatch succeeded in changing my view towards it in a good way.

Tengen Toppa Infinite Precure!

Anyway, I am bit surprised at how few people have seen this series. I mean, I wouldn't call this series great but it was pretty good. The characters were mostly likable, the animation had a simple style but it was well done (the transformation and special attack sequences, in particular, stood out), and the soundtrack was high quality as well.

The main problem with the series was that it suffered from being very formulaic and very predictable. The episodic content was hit or miss in terms of quality; and the central plot stuff was more interesting but it still did not stand out in any way.

So, overall, it was a good series with some significant flaws; but still plenty of appeal and entertainment value. 7 "Shiny Tambourine" points out of 10.

If a giant punch Earth I would think those people so close wouldn't just feel an earthquake shake.

Cool ending
-Tsubomi wants to be an astronaut
-Erika will be a clothes designer. Her boasting of them saving Earth was funny.
-Itsuki finally has slightly longer hair.
-Dunno what Yuri will do.

As the most acclaimed of the PreCure franchise, I couldn't help but expect something that would set this apart from the rest of the magical girl genre. Although I wouldn't say it did, it was still enjoyable to watch.

However I can't deny it's formulaic, predictable, villain-of-the-week episodes were tedious. I would've preferred if they cut down on those. It got a lot more exciting in the second half and towards the end when the plot really started to progress.

Overall, the story was sweet, elements of classical mahou shoujo done well, characters (and antagonists) likeable and above all, it had a great OST and battles with pretty neat action (considering what the usual magical girl battles are like).

I give it 7/10 :)

LOL at STRAIGHT PUNCH. Move over One Punch Man, Heartcatch Precure did it first!

This was really good. My experience with Heartcatch Precure was different in that I used an episode guide and skipped all unimportant filler episodes. (http://gifmourningu.tumblr.com/post/128875181307) Only watched 31/49 episodes. However, I think I made the right choice, because I've heard so many people dropping the show due to the filler. I even think the "good" filler in that guide can be skipped except for ep39 (which is hilarious) and ep44. So 23/49 episodes, less than half the show, are essential. The rest can be safely skipped and watched after you've finished if you like the show enough.

Very enjoyable 8/10 and that's a huge compliment considering that Precure as a whole is designed for young children. It's honestly one of the best shows that few people have watched. This deserves far more praise and cosplay exposure than the overrated filth that is Sailor Moon, and I liked it more than Cardcaptor Sakura.

I like how even the villains find redemption in the end. Sure it was a happy ending, but there were many sacrifices along the way which made this series feel more real to me.
Sasorina would make a great teacher. Kumojaky, or should I say Kumamoto... *street fighter vibes intensify* I have no qualms with Cobraja being a fashion designer, it suits him ouo

Tsubomi you've grown so much ;-; I'm so proud of you, you're a big sis now 。゚(TヮT)゚。

Itsuki, no matter how many fans dislike you, you'll always be one of my favorites. (⌒▽⌒)☆

That was such an amazing finale! This was a beautiful final arc so full of emotions.

Seeing Erika being like "we peaked at 13 yo, what now?" was so funny, they have their dreams and I'm sure they will fulfill them! (Also, as a Space Brothers fan, seeing Tsubomi wanting to be an astronaut pleases me immensely).

I'm not crying, YOU'RE crying!!!

Things turned out just fine of course, and even Cobraja and the others have happy lives now. It's a kids show, so I fully expected the sweet, happy ending, and all things considered they did a REALLY good job with it. Their win did come at a cost, which I liked. Yuri had to suffer the most, losing her dad, her fairy and even a newly gained little sister...

I think Tsubomi was a great character, even if she is overshadowed in terms of being funny and crazy by Erika, or in being beautiful and serene by Yuri. I didn't like Itsuki that much, but I didn't dislike her either. The insert song, the action, everything about these last three episodes or so has been absolutely fantastic!

I can't wait to watch the Heartcatch movie next. This was my first Precure, and I consider myself hooked. My next one will be Go! Princess, or maybe I will check out Hug too soon. I am also watching the currently airing Star Twinkle, which isn't as great so far... but maybe it will become better! I still like it.

I give the series a very solid 7/10, which is really good on my scale (my average is slightly below 4.00 as of right now). In other words, it is a favorite of mine and I wholeheartedly would recommend it to others!

It was a nice and emotional finale.

- Cobraja became a fashion designer
- Sasorina started to work at the kindergarten
- Kumamoto joined the Myoudouin school
- Futaba is probably going to be a PreCure in the future

Overall, an average season. Besides the final four episodes, I liked mostly of those school festival and the summer vacation episodes.

My favorite characters were Erika, Kaoruko, and Sasorina.

I liked Dune's initial form, as while having giant monstrous final villains is imposing, it gets kind of repetitive. Plus, his "human" form came across as a lot more creepy with his vacant stare. That being said, I expected Dune's final form to look more demonic, rather than just his regular form scaled up. Also, seeing him literally punch the Earth a couple of times was hilarious, but it didn't really seem to do anything.

I'm amused that Precure has finally gone cosmic, with a planetary-sized villain and a planetary-sized Precure going at it. I'm also amused that going into space left such an impact on Tsubomi that she decides to pursue space and aeronautics to try and, in her words, spread flowers into the void of space. She never came across as technologically or mathematically oriented, so it does seem a bit of a sudden development.

Heartcatch's finale felt somewhat underwhelming. I disliked how the final fight was segmented, with the initial battle and conclusion split by the epilogue. The Earth getting restored was also skipped, where we didn't see how exactly the entire world could be fixed after being turned into a desert. I understand that the Precures could just magic their problems away, but I would have liked some visual indication of how it worked.

Erika and Itsuki got shoved into being the second string, pairing off for most of these final fights. Tsubomi got focus by virtue of being the main lead, while Yuri got focus for having the most attention given to her character by the creators. The shift in attention feels so jarring, where Erika starts off as the best friend, but gets reduced to a side gimmick at times. She still has some great moments, but I was hoping for Tsubomi and Erika to have more moments together at the end. Itsuki starts off as a really cool and confident character, but after her initial appearance as Cure Sunshine, she got reduced to defensive roles in fights, despite being the actual martial artist of the group. Plus, once her family and self-identity issues got resolved, her character stagnated. Also, I personally didn't feel her Sunshine character design matched Itsuki that well. Not exactly sure why, but it just never felt right to me.

I would have liked all four to have relatively equal attention given, but I suppose the end result was fine. I still like Yuri's/Moonlight's character and visual design, and it's probably my favorite out of all Precures in comparison to all released series entries up to Heartcatch. For what it's worth, there's still a few loose ends with the ending, including Itsuki's/Yuri's plans for the future, whether Professor Tsukikage's actually died, and the apparent time skip for where Tsubomi's sister is now a Precure too. For that matter, I'm unsure of how chronology works in the Precure series, as outside of time travel hijinks, you can't really have Precure series wide collaborations with that much time passing in between generations of Precures.

I really do love Heartcatch's visual style. When I first started watching, I immediately identified the Casshern Sins style of artwork, and as a fan of Casshern Sins for its visuals, I immediately enjoyed its recontextualization in a bright and colorful magical girl setting. I also enjoyed Heartcatch constantly going off model and super deformed, using them as a design aesthetic to add to the characters' personality while also making animation easier. This also adds to the show's art consistency, so even the super deformed moments feel part of the overall aesthetic.

Overall, Heartcatch Precure was definitely my favorite Precure entry thus far. It's amazingly consistent in visual quality, the writing episode by episode never felt dull, and there were genuinely dire moments where I was invested enough to slow my viewing pace to prevent marathoning. Heartcatch reminds me of old school super sentai in terms of its presentation, but upgraded to modern day standards. The other Precure entries do this as well, but Heartcatch truly amped up the comparison thanks to its aesthetics. Honestly, Heartcatch was the reason why I started watching Precure to begin with, as I had heard so much about it that I finally caved. However, I also wanted to watch all the entries up to Precure, despite the absurd amount of episodes. Now, I can finally say this: Heartcatch Precure is among my favorite magical girl anime, as well as one of my favorite action anime.

Great stuff.

Seeing all those cracks on the ground from Heartcatch Mirage makes me wonder how much property damage the girls would've reasonably racked up throughout the series.

I feel like this anime would have absolutely blown my mind to shit when I was a kid. The final half of this episode was fucking perfect.

Though, if Dune faded away in the same way Dark Precure did, does that imply that he was also a creation of the Heart Tree? It's a bit too late to hope for a sequel, but...

Oh god. I just finished this whole series. Shit was FIRE (or flowers, I guess). Either way it was incredible, even if the Earth just "suddenly healed from the damage it received"; Dark Precure's death was somewhat underwhelming and we barely got a status update on the human versions of Sasorina, Kobraja and Kumojacky.

I didn't think I'd enjoy it this much and appreciate the series message, but here we are. It is now my 4th favourite anime of all time.

Disappointing end, I thought. So they punch the bad guy once and he just smiles and gives up and poof the world is restored to normal like nothing ever happened. All the destroyed buildings are magically repaired and what about the people who were crystalized? The handful who were alive at the end? Do they remember any of what happened? Seemed like a waste of potential to have all the people the cures saved throughout the series be around at the end but they didn't do anything. I'd have expected them to somehow provide power to the cures in the final battle but no, they just stood around getting punched from space. Still don't know what Dune's problem was or where he came from or anything. Just a generic villain without motive or relevance. Dr. Sabaaku would've made for the better mastermind behind all of this. His backstory made sense and he had connections to Moonlight. Other than having some nice animation I thought this was a pretty average season in terms of story and characters, though I did like how they fought against the bosses in actual battles with fists and kicks, especially near the end.
