I kind of like bad guys too but if they are best friend why are they holding hands? Only couples do that.
Oh well xD

It's like a Japanese thing. They really encourage girl friendships so hand-holding is totally normal.

The bad guy just bleeds badass.

Is it really just "a Japanese thing?" because I always see little girls (like 5 or 6) holding each others' hands or linking arms and isn't that the primary age range for this show (5-10?) And now that I think about it, I think I've done that too when I was younger with my friends lol. Anyway, I don't think it's weird at all. They're just besties ^^

I can not get enough of this anime. It's so cute and badass at the same time! And I swear, I've rewatched the ED animation like 30 times already xD

I'm a bandwagon whore

I still hold hands and link arms with my best friend and I'm 14.
I agree with you 100% about the ED.

Kumojacky is deliciously old-school. I half expect to see the guy in a super robot series somewhere. Also Blossom and Marine have solved their sucky teamwork problems. I'm glad that this series hasn't lingered on anything for too long. I'm really enjoying it so far.

The double transformation got me excited. So cute and well animated. Not only that, but now we know where the Heartcatch from the title comes from, hehe.

A quick introduction to a new villain. Tsubomi is still derping around a little bit. The new villain grabs the magical-wand-thing but promptly returns it. In the future this is losing the magical-wand-thing will probably be an important plot point.

How Tsubomi lost it while Erika was talking to another girl was pretty cool. Efficient storytelling: developing Tsubomi's episode arc while also establishing the problem that becomes a monster this time. Glasses return while Tsubomi is feeling down (however, she keeps the new hair-style). Erika's older sister also expands Erika's character development arc a little bit this episode. I like how quick this show is being, by the end of the episode the villain already admits that they got stronger. No time to mess around I guess, and this is good.
