Funimation's attempts to monopolise the dub industry has lead them down a path where just about any show they pick up, even totally forgettable seasonal garbage or kid's shows with a million episodes that no one is watching, will get a dub. If not several weeks after Japan, then it'll be when the Blu-ray set comes out. But while I'm annoyed that shows like Endride got preferential treament over Nichijou, I can think of a few reasons why they didn't do it.

First off I'd say age but Gosick is in literally the EXACT same position (Aired in 2011, picked up by Bandai, Bandai dies, Madman release sub only DVDs in Australia, Funimation release Blu-ray years later) and it's getting a dub. So I'm guessing that they either they thought the audience to be too niche, they didn't think a dub would work, or all of the above. Whatever the case, that's how it is.
