Luffy can control his powers better than that. And I don't get why they showed Luffy struggling to get up. We already knew that punches barely do anything to him. They basically just threw powerful swords at Zoro. For free too. C'mon. I find it absolutely silly that Buggy was next to Luffy and didn't spot him. I wonder what'll happen to Luffy with these guys after him. Will they fight over him? |

| Smoker looks like he cares more about judging the pirates that come to Loguetown, if they're worthy of going to the Grand Line, than he is about carrying out justice and punishing evil. |

| This arc is great already, and a Zoro episode is always welcome. Zoro's great mindset and mentality as well as more and more of this tourist towns philosophy of sucking their customers dry was seen. The fact that he was willing to buy two dull swords to make due also gives us a nod back to when he told Hachi it was the weight of the blade, not the number of blades, and in this case not the make of the sword either. It is the sword wielder who makes the sword. And then when he feels a sword is cursed he decides right there to test it out, to take it with him and challenge it's curse with his luck as I suppose a test to see how good of a swordsman he is. Zoro is simplicity at perfection, so gar. It was cute how he washed the floors with his three sword style too. Why didn't Luffy just stretch his arms to get to the top of the platform?

He's not always the smartest person in a practical sense. His battle with the Smoker guy was silly. Luffy can control his powers better than that. I fully agree here, Luffy swung around like he was drunk and launched himself out of the plot for plot reasons. The first mistake with his legs being tangled was funny and in character but everything else was clearly for plot convenience. They basically just threw powerful swords at Zoro. For free too. C'mon. Well as he said in the scene the swords don't matter, and if we infer from before it's the swords weight, or the swordsman's resolve. And it wasn't for free either, he both challenged himself in a scene where he tested his swordsmanship, whether it was silly or not and risked losing his whole arm, and unknowingly took over another man's dream with his sword alike that with Kuina's. I think it was a great scene and the way he got both swords was satisfying, definitely not a power up on the level of most other shounen, nor was it nearly as convenient as they come. I find it absolutely silly that Buggy was next to Luffy and didn't spot him. If you mean it was silly as in funny then yeah it was supposed to be a gag and I agree. If you mean silly as in it shouldn't have happened, it was gag. |
| Luffy's definitely messing with Smoker by flailing around the place without taking it seriously. It must be because of him not having a good enough reason to fight him yet. Zoro, you badass. Nearly chopping off your own arm to test out a cursed legendary blade only to come out unscathed so cooly that the swordsmaster gave away another legendary blade for the price of none. From brooms to legendary drops, the dreaded floor cleaner escalated to a hundred! |

| Damn, so Cap. Smoker actually has eaten a devil fruit. I wonder if his power is related to smoke/wind in some way. Also, deep down he seems to have respect for great pirates like Gold Roger. Hmm, so there are over 92 legendary swords in this world? And Zoro three of them now. I bet, Mihawk's sword is also a legendary sword. It looks so fancy. |

| I kinda start missing the old intro already. Scene where Zoro trys his luck with the sword was intense. But now he has 3 ry good weapons. Wonder if that will give him an advantage. |

| Man Zorro was pretty intense in this episode he literally tested his own luck on a blade that was supposedly cursed and the best part of that was he lived! Not only did he impress the expert swordsman with his skill, he gave that blade as well as the other blades that Zorro wanted free of charge. I was laughing so hard when Zorro himself had to mop the floors in the Marine Base I mean I enjoyed it immensely because rather than mop the floors the normal way by putting the mop up and down, up and down in the bucket and then swabbing, he opted to mop the floors the same way he uses his swords to fight his opponents. XD Zorro is shaping to be one of my favourites when it comes to One Piece. Otherwise this was an awesome episode for me. |
