That's the real problem. The first two episodes are too over the top (and their purpose is just to present all the characters and the setting), but the rest is pure gold. | Happy to hear this for all the fans of Gintama! I haven't watched the first part of the anime series yet but I do plan on it. So if I like the show I bet I will be a lot happier about this news. Now I just have to hope for news about a return of my favorite shows: D.Gray-man and Kateikyoushi Hitman Reborn. Because I believe after those get enough material between where the Anime's end and the Manga they should come back. But I am happy for the Gintama fan base. Banzai! |

| Does anyone know whether the return will be in HD? Most of the shounen anime have transformed into HD shows recently. InuYasha and Hajime no Ippo returned in HD too. But they just ran for 2Q seasons. So I am wondering if it has been confirmed or if there is sight chance. Personally, I will be happy with anything, being able to see it in HD will be just super awesome. |

Although I'm super happy about this I think it's too soon, manga material wise. Currently they only have 4 tankoubon of material, probably 2 or 3 more by the time it airs... It's not enough for a season of the same size as the 1st. Not sure if I'd rather wait one or two more years in order to have more to watch later. They could release the animated version of the novels in the meantime, as OVAs or something. Either way, if they want to continue the anime who am I to complain? Bring it, Sunrise! |
