| Felt bad for Izumo...not because she got taken away but because of Renzo's betrayal. She can't look at him the same way ever again. It's so strange seeing him act all carefree like nothing happened. He absolutely deserved that slap. Not going to lie, the experimental stuff was creepy. Izumo also sees her mother wrapped up in a wheelchair which bought even creepiness into this episode. I know Rin and the others are hoping to save their friends but it's also good to see them in high spirits. |

| We've finally wrapped up the Academy Seven Wonders arc, and now we're jumping into the Shimane Illuminati arc. Due to the declaration of war by Lucifer, the various branches of the Holy Cross Knights are thrown into chaos. In the midst of this, Yukio and Rin, along with other candidates, set out to reclaim Izumo and Shima. Izumo, who has been abducted, is being held captive in the Illuminati's Far East Research Institute. When Izumo regains consciousness, Shima, dressed in Illuminati uniform, appears before him. And there, a person closely connected to Izumo also makes an appearance. I'm really curious about Kamiki's mom. And if Shima's connection to the Illuminati is the explanation, it just makes me even more upset. How in the world are they going to rescue Kamiki (and maybe Shima)? So many questions are buzzing in my head... It's kind of annoying; just when the story was getting interesting, it suddenly ended. Anyway, in my opinion, it was a pretty solid episode, and I really hope they can help out Izumo soon. That doctor guy is just a total jerk. They're slowly revealing the past... |

Is it safe to talk about all that on a public plane lol? 15:42 This "MePhIsTo DeS" cracked me up lmao Hoooolup, now Shima's behavious during the Impure King arc makes much more sense (He was very reluctant to do anything and wanted to run away) Sooo interesting! This is shaping up to be one of the best arcs in Ao no Exorcist. |

| I've heard of giving someone a kick in the pants but that was one hell of a dynamic entry-esque kick. At least it got Suguro out of his funk. Ugh that scientist guy is as creepy as ever. There's no way Izumo is going to let Shima live this down. Looking forward to next week. Finally getting her backstory🦊. On another note, wouldn't mind trying some Inari soba one day. Looks good. |

| Not quite as intense as last week's episode but served as a decent transition episode to Izumo's backstory in the upcoming episode for sure. It's interesting seeing Renzo not be forced into this, but just be a bastard in how he acted and how he wanted to throw everything away in his past, including his friends and family to join the Illuminati organization. Seeing Izumo's mother in that shape was pretty brutal too, can only imagine that next week's episode is not going to be the happiest one that's for sure. A bit of goofiness here and there with Yukio and the other Exwires but they have to be in decent mental shape to be able to face a pretty brutal task at hand, both physically and emotionally too. Good to see Rin have Suguro's back and wake him up in a way to not have Suguro go too out of control with his emotions, especially this early on. |

| Can’t imagine how it must feel to not actually know who your childhood friend really is. Konekomaru and Ryuuji both need to give him the punch of friendship. I still think Renzou is a good person. Poor Izumo handling all of this by herself so her sister can be safe. Love Rin and the gang “investigating” lol |

| Damn I'd forgotten how awful and borderline offensive the lead scientist's character design is... All other characters in the show are pretty realistic (at least the humans, anyway), then we suddenly get a guy that looks like a One Piece minor villain. Did Kazue Kato only have five minutes to design this guy? |

| I thought the behavoir of Shima during the Impure King was sus but then I thought I'm overthinking it...nice to know it was justified. Also I can't wait for Izumo's backstory. But I'm not really sure how they will "rescue them" if none of them will want to leave. Like, Shima is there voluntarly and Izumo won't leave if it puts her sister in danger. It's gonna be interesting. |

| That slap was the first time I liked Izumo since the series started. Even though I still don't believe that Shima is a completely bad guy, he still seems to be hiding a lot. |

| @Red_Ranger_Wien valid. as soon as i heard his laugh, i went "ah it's the fat pig bastard." almost forgot what total disgusting creeper he is. his seiryu's definitely met my expectations, especially the annoying laugh i oh hate so much. *shivers* seeing izumo's mom in that condition again makes me want to punch gedouin all over again, but at the same time i really don't want to touch that filth. seeing everyone's reaction to the sandwich makes it all more funnier in the anime than in the manga. she did warn them all it won't taste good lmao |

| At first I thought that Bon was enjoying the grass burger because of monk training, but I guess that wasn't the point after all. I can't believe we're not ismply getting another sequel to an old series such as this, but also the visual quality is one the level of high-budget pilot cours. | Not sure (and I hope not) but I really enjoyed this arc in the manga but were the things really like this? You know Izumo got kidnapped and everyone - of course Rin the most - in enjoying this as if it were a joyful trip for the first part of the manga. |

People asked me where I read certain thing but the rules say no telling where did you read so maybe I am too boring for not saying? Or salty because you didn't check my profile that says don't ask because I hate people to ghost me after that. I love learning languages so maybe I did not read the manga in English. |
| the ED is actually super cute, and the OP super nostalgic! the story of the season seems okay so far, if it does indeed deliver I can defo overlook the drop in the quality of the aesthetic. |

| @Gator you've probably since finished this season, but I'm surprised you got that impression after these 5 eps lol. To me feels like it's clearly the opposite and that it's gonna really focus on her this season lol. (&shima I guess, but mostly her even). So she's actually gonna probably be even more prominently featured than the previous seasons at least. Maybe they do fumble this season, just thought it was interesting seeing your comment lamenting her being sidelined when it seems more like she's being pushed to the front for this season haha. |

| Right, the "look at him! He's the worst kind of character you will find out around here" and he was the reason why this arc felt a bit like a chore to go through. The parts with Yukio & co needed a stronger take on the urgency of their mission but it wasn't bad. |
I can't get over these background characters lol in one scene half the background characters are drawn normally, but the other half are CG So Takara is actually Mephisto's spy... I'm confused. And Shima really was a spy this whole time??? I wonder if there was anything hinting to that. It really feels like it came out of nowhere. |

| Rin single-handedly dominates the scene whenever he's there. Him just rocking on that toy fox seat and eating while they're talking strategy lmao So we're finally learning Izumo's backstory... and it turns out she's had to survive some pretty heavy baggage. Her poor mom, we see that memory of her being immature only for the cold reality of seeing what the Illuminati have done to her now. I think it's pretty obvious what an upcoming twist is gonna be but I'll wait and see. |
