Not surprised though given the size diifference in this episode. I also expecting the MC to face off against a ruthless version of Mummymon. Crazy episode. |

| One of my favorite anituberisms was when people were saying Re:Zero was this intense deconstruction on anime tropes when it came out, and then years later when I got around to reading it it was just lolicon chuunige. |

| Even better than the first episode. I love this show and its dark atmosphere because it reminds me of Tamers. This is the best thing that has happened to Digimon franchise for a long time. Gammamon's digievolution was pretty cool. Also, the bond between Hiro and Gammamon is so heartwarming.  |

| So far still so good. Good decisions by Hiro during the encounter, paying attention to Mummymon's words in order to solve the misunderstanding and attacking just as a last resort. Plus, he seems genuine to his proactive and curious character trying to find out whatever happened to his dad and raising some pretty reasonable questions about the situation. Gammamon is continues to be cute and his relationship with his partner is not only believable but its reflected in his digivice which is boosted not only by emotions but also by food, which is a nice reference to the V-Pet. Consequently, during the fight we've got a neatly animated digievolution sequence which also isn't very long to fill up space, which I really appreciate. I can't fathom how in 2 episodes we've already got a much more likeable cast than in 2020, a more engaging storyline and excitement towards the next episode. Still, I do remember to keep my expectations low for now, this is Toei we're talking about. |

| After the sour taste of 2020, this one is really making things up for Digimon. Main character and Digimon interacting in a amicable manner while building trust, overall nice cast of side characters showing personality, good choices of Digimon antagonists relating to the 'Ghost Story' thematic, the digivolution doesn't take 1 whole minute and the action in general is just right. I'm digging it. |

| Damn this episode was even better than the first episode. This season really took me by surprise. Hopefully it continue like this Also, Mummymon is voiced by Takayuki Sugou who is known for his role as Hashirama in Naruto. They are not holding back even for episodic/less important digimons, which makes me excited to see who we will get in the future |

| Gammamon is pure cuteness. Evolution was nice, it was very fast though! I'm so used to long fan-fares during evolution sequences. Wonder if Gammamon was referring to Agumon/Greymon when he said the T-rex hologram looked like a Digimon he knows. |
| I hope I don't jinx it by saying this but, I really love this so far. I'm actively looking forward to the next episode each week. | GAMMAMON IS SO ADORABLE AAAAAAA The shinka moment made me feel like a kid again. Every villain until now have personalities, I'm glad to see they're not just receiving the "monster of the day" treatment and can return on the future. While Clockmon have a perverse personality, Mummymon is just someone who thought he was doing good things. |

| The fight between mummymon and gammamon evolved was a bit too short, but thats about my only complain about the episode, pretty good and even better than the first one. |
| Better than the first episode, which was already good. I kind of wish I got into the Digimon franchise with this one because, as crazy as it may sound, these two episodes we got so far are tons of times better than ALL the 67 episodes of Adventure 2020. Of course, the characters are kinda stereotyped, but at least they are very likeable/quirky and more believable than the big main group from the previous series. This episode had something DA2020 lacked (if we don't count Mimi and Palmon): human-Digimon interactions outside fights. As I'm relatively new to this franchise, I don't know how was this in the older installments, but the scenes where Hiro was taking care of Gammamon are so wholesome. They had a very positive effect for the brief fight with Mummymon, who was also a decent monster-of the-week. Betelgammamon looked pretty cool IMO. This episode's conflict was simple yet had a nice resolution. What I liked the most about this episode was... Gammamon! It's so adorable!! I felt so bad when he almost cried because he couldn't eat the meat. Because of the 2020 anime, I had very low expectations about this, but it's now recovering. Looking forward to the next episodes! |

| I'm honestly amazed that they didn't kill Mummymon, you know they would usually just say screw it and blow them to pieces but yeah, he wanted to help but he was just extremely misguided. | It was a good chapter. I liked Gamamon's first fire evolution. Things that should improve the designs of the backgrounds in normal scenes when Hiro went for the hamburger all the designs were deformed with giraffe necks, in the future I hope that they do not sacrifice jokes for lore, who little by little information from the digital world such as In the next chapter tell how Ruri got his vital bracelet and the rules of using the vital bracelet |

| Yep, this episode was great too. A sentient enemy who can be reasoned with, and new evolution didn't one-shot him either cuz Mummymon is a strong Ultimate while BetelGammamon is just a Champion which means powerlevel logic is still intact too. Ghost Game is shaping up to be a far better Digimon anime than the previous you-know-what. KanameYuuki said: Ikr? This is not the reboot anymore where powerlevels are so messed up that a mere Greymon can solo two MegaSeadramons underwater. I mean this in the most respectful way possible: I really feel sorry for you, for starting Digimon with the reboot even though I know the logic behind doing this. I can only speak of Adventure, 02, Tamers, Frontier and X-Wars. Adventure and Tamers had a ton of human-digimon interactions outside of battles, you could even argue that the battles in Adventure weren't really why one would continue to watch Digimon, as they reused a lot of Animation and weren't really dynamic. Frontier isn't in the same category because the whole concept was that kids became the digimon to fight, though they did interacted a lot with other digimon along the way. The series is know for having it's ups and downs but Digimon usually works by the logic that you go watch it because of the Digimon but you stay because of the cast of humans. |
| So Gammamon finally digivolve into BetelGammamon while fighting Mummmymon. The entire digivolve sequence was really cool from the visual to the OST. Hiro was able to convince Mummymon to stop abducting random people and rediscover modern medicine, but on the way back he saw the ghost of another digimon following Ruri without her noticing it. |

| I liked the evolution sequence, it was short but cool. Looks like you need to feed the digimon for them to evolve in this verse. Also the partner can even make his digimon use certain skills. The story this time was nice too. |

| I love gammamon but honestly wasn't a big fan of the evolution. The opening is amazing too. Im hoping they start introducing character faster though. |
