Looks like Sho was able to see some insight about Shirna's family. This episode explored more background storytelling.

Shinra and Company 8 deals with another crazy foe in their way. They just can't seem to catch a break.

Hmm the exchange if memories in the midst of combat huh an interesting concept. Haumea sure arrived at an inopportune time though. So the white clads aim is reenactment of the great disaster huh. Haumea's personality though sure is rather random though her ability was rather interesting. The rest of the 8th sure made a timely entrance to the field with that scene of them protecting Shinra being an excellent display of unity. Interesting in that the 6th company while an active company also runs a hospital that heals injured fire force members. Still the physical and emotional toll for the investigation sure was a steep one. As suspected the amount of info that Burns had sure was a lot.

Shinra and Sho's moment was quite emotional but sadly it was ruined. Haumea took away Sho but glad the 8th managed to save Shinra. Also nice Burns vs Shinra gonna happen again.

MUch needed flashback at the beginning of the episode. Will Sho still be an enemy next time they meet?

That Haumea girl is crazy though her ability didn't work on Arthur.
A heartwarming moment between Shinra and Sho.

Looks like Captain Burns will reveal what happened 12 years ago to Shinra.

Am I the only one who think that that the reason Evangelist mindcontroller woman can't brainwash Arthur is because Arthur doesn't have brain to begin with? LOL He just too stupid to understand her order, plasma or not.

Power of friendship triumps once again, who would have thought about that in shonen anime /s

The editing is still quite jarring. We get several shots of the places the group already had been in these tunnels, but we're lastly placed at the entrance with the whole crew already outside, rather than actually showing off how they managed to make the escape run in a short time.

"Lets take Shinra to the only doctor that can save him" Also, lets discuss about the tremors and what not to make time and take weight away from Shinra's emergency situation, because afterall this is shonen, and we have to met the quota of dumb exposition.

Three days passed after Shinra's surgery, and the first thing they have to do is make Shinra show off that he's the most badass shonen hero that can take head on any kind of threat in the world? ugh, garbage shonen writing at it's finest.

This episode was amazing. The art, animation, and VAs doing a great job as always!
Loved how Arthur was naturally resistant to that crazy woman with his Plasma, he keeps delivering!
Maybe a bit too fast with the recovery of Shinra, but it's okay. I expected them to rescue Sho but I guess it won't be this fast.
Anyway, can't wait for the next episode, and boy that ending is still literal FIRE.

ngl, burns is kinda sexy too xP

Haumea is a crazy lunatic, with some kind of brainwashing ability that uses an electric current working on the human nerve system.

Really great episode, that flashback about Sho and Shinra was pretty sweet. But damn Shinra got stabbed pretty badly. Luckily he is healed again by the 6th captain and gets a visit from the 1st captain. He is barely healed and already has to test himself against the 1st captain. Give him a rest already XD

Ok so Licth was there and has heard what what that Haumea was saying , so why didn't he shared the info he heard with the rest of the 8th squad???

Haumea can't control Arthur because of the plasma thing... YEAH, RIGHT xD. Come on, we all know it's because he doesn't even have a brain to control to begin with.

Ok so... I let pass the fact of Shinra getting stabbed in the spine last episode but being stabbed through your heart and spine and still being able to make it to the "hospital" is too much for my suspension of disbelief. This way, Shou could have decapitated him yet he would have survived anyways because Shounen MC reasons.

Overall, it was another average episode. Fair enough, the scene with Shou remembering his past with his brother via Adolla Link was decently well handled but the rest of the episode was pretty much the same as others: odd directing cuts, misplaced exposition, another "kuku" antagonist introduced, another unjustified reason to have two characters fighting each other, etc, etc.

If people think Haumea is annoying and unlikable wait till they introduce
in the second season. That girl irritates me way more.

Anyways, that moment of Sho remembering being a baby was so cute. It's such a waste we won't see him as a baby anymore. He's the cutest thing in this show next to Pusu Pusu and Mera Mera. I wouldn't mind more baby Sho scenes, they're my favorite. Also, Jesus Christ, they got their fucked up teeth from their mom. I didn't notice her teeth in the manga lol.

Just one more episode.

The beginning was quite sad when Sho got shown the memeories and seeing him cry and hug is brother was a tear-jerker. Looks like the captain of Company 1 knew all along, wonder if he is involved. I hope that the final episode doesn't end on a cliffhanger.

The Adolla Link between Shinra and Sho is Sho's Achilles' Heel, showcasing the memories before the Inferno fire that ravaged the once-bonded family.

Interestingly, White-Clad Haumea has a collective plan for specimens like Shinra and Sho to precede their plans. Playful as she is, she is the manipulative kind. And as the rest of Company 8 tends to the rescue, Shinra falls out of commission. It's clear that this won't be the last time we'll be seeing them.

Also watching Company 6 for the 1st time, it's a hospital company that also is a specialist for fire (Inferno) fighting, just like the other companies.

And Company 1 Captain Burns approaching Shinra unscathed? Definitely he's here for business reasons...and the Inferno 12 years ago didn't seem to qualm Shinra's thoughts about him and Sho not being saved. What's his reason for his actions? Next and final episode will tell it all.

He was too fast, that he stabbed himself, that’s a joke right. Sho finally realized that the Evangelist and Haumea were in his kidnap when he was a baby, but after going to the right side he got brainwashed. Haumea op ability got blocked by Arthur, coincidence, maybe. And finally Burns say the truth, despite the second challenge against Burns, I’m kind of interested in what he got to say. To save someone from a sword’s stab you must have an impressing ability. I’m not sure if someone just recovered is able to fight.

Ah, so sad that Shinra failed to brought back Shou after so much desires he had. That another Adorra Burst owner that block the possibility. Okay, its good to had that as an excuse. Atleast we knew that the brainwashed can be repelled by using Adorra Link. I guessed Lisa had a chance too, then, who knows?

6th division. The captain used the hospital as a base. Nice, she was a good doctor. Not like crazy doctor scientist like Giovanni that gone mad because of his ambitions. The whole captain of fire forces had revealed their power. Even the number 1 captain of the first division, Burns, had a timed to showed himself. The fuck with you. Shinra just began to healed but he wanted to fights? The crazy old man he was! Oh, sorry, the fooled was ofc Shinra. Wth, boy?

One more left to welcomed a continuations cour. Great excuse to long span the series. Okay!

All of this happened so that the brothers could have a bonding moment? Nothing mattered, the evangelist losses included. The evangelists did not extract Shinra despite who knows how many chances. Giovanni was like 'My mission is done', but no het let the 8th actually catch up. Shinra's wounds and sacrifices did not matter either because 'We got you fam' pyrokinetic healing. The nether turned out to be just a nice background to get some Metro2033 vibes.

Now, this finale and everything that lead towards it was even dumb by shonen standards. The franchise got style but from a story telling perspective this was garbage. Everything that happens seems to have little to no consequences.
