I thought this episode was okay.

While it's lighthearted, there's a feeling of tense moments between Yuuki and her friends. Feels like pacing slowed a little but I'm fine with it. The Hero Club and their friends need some time to reset and deal with their recent problems.

Yuuki's role from this episode is what I had expected from someone of her personality. Gotta love how the other girls are keeping the mood bright though. Even adding some holiday spirit to the episode!

So Yuuna has taken over Tougo's burden it seems and it's effecting her friends as well.
The question now is what will happen to Yuuna.

Judging from the welcoming party at her home it will be intense.

It's less affecting them, rather than it's part of the curse put on her. When she tries to say something about it to others, something bad will happen to them. According to Yuuna's own investigation, it's okay to talk in riddles and think over this stuff, but trying to convey it directly causes them bad luck. Especially attempting face-to-face and saying Fuu's name caused the car crash onto her.

The emotional breakdown by the end was nice. Also Sonoko's nice for being a smart girl.

PS: Visual on the website changed again. Though it's just Tougou and Yuuna trading places.

Sonocchi is such a nice addition to the cast, she fits in the group so well; especially now that Washi is back.

Yuuna's curse is worse than I thought. It doesn't affect her alone, if she talks about it to the other girls they get into accidents. Guess she will take Washi's place in the black hole zone; don't know how they will fix the situation.

The Slice of Life part of this episode was so great! I wish most sol series had scenes going as smoothly and dialogue as endearing as everything we got on this episode.

On the backside of all this, seems like FINALLY they are showcasing Yuuna's behavior, she has been acting like this since S1, so it's nice we will finally see some exploration of that. Maybe that is the reason why all the sudden Yuuna now has monologues and we are shown her by herself at home, both are scenes all other characters had in S1, but Yuuna intentionally had not.

It's the Christmas episode.
Yuna tried talking to Fuu, but a car hit her. The Amnesty is playing so dirty.
Yuna decides to keep the burden herself, that's so terrible and painful.
Thanks to that curse, Sonocchi injured her hand, Fuu got into an accident and Itsuki skipped her event.

Now I wonder how long until it reach NoWaYu level of depression.

Seriously after reading NoWaYu I feel down several day because of it and now it look like we will get on that point too soon.

Holy fucking shit this episode. So, Yuuna's curse pretty much affects anyone near her, so in the end she has to hold the burden to herself, because if she says anything there will be consequence through this. I can actually understand that and that is actually bold from her end. Unfortunately there were some bad shit going on through, which is fucking sad ;_; and painful too.

The additional stuff to keep it balanced a bit keeps it from me going completely insane to be honest, man how I like the execution of this. But, we all know that shit is most likely going to hit the fan because of this. Next week, we'll have to see.

The Amnesty? Taisha has nothing to do with this. It's clear a heavenly gods / vertex thing, not a shinju / taisha thing.

My god, Gokumi may not be able to animate a fight scene to save their lives but their sol parts are just perfection. From the moment they did a close up on the clubs tenants (if you're troubled, talk to someone) i was on the edge of my seat. Everything, from shots zooming in on Yuuna highlighting the loneliness of her choice to her inner monologues that gave her some much needed characterization and showed that she's a flawed character, was fantastic. That's how you build up tension, perfect atmosphere and the soundtrack really helped maintain that eerie feeling that was so very fitting for the current events throughout this episode.

Still though, they need to pick up the pace next week. There are only 3 (possibly 2) episodes left and we still don't seem to be in the main part of the story.

In the LN it was already mentioned that Shinju's life is nearing its end. Didn't expect the leaves would fall down just like that. End of the world is near. That's also probably why Fuu's seirei barrier can't give decent protection (even in non-hero form Tougou's seirei was able to perfectly block Vertex attack in ep 2 S1).

Other possibility is the mark on Yuuna is just strong enough to interfere the protection barrier and make Shinju wilts. Is the mark stronger than vertex attack because the mark directly channels heavenly gods' power? Should wait for next ep to come out.

I doubt this season would be as tragic as NoWaYu. I doubt they have the balls to kill characters now lol. They ended season 1 with happy end after all. Still, I always feel that Sonoko wouldn't walk out of this season alive. She looks like a walking death flag to me.

If you're troubled, talk to someone!(Unless you're basically cursed)
T_T

Really tense episode. At first, I was a little upset about Yuuna keeping herself until she almost mentioned it to the girls and their mark all grew. I wonder if it's really as easy as that though? Will keeping it to herself really allow the other girls to live?
Anyway, we got Sonochii on the case so hopefully things turn out well... or better than they normally would anyway.

That final scene with Yuuna breaking down, man... Doesn't feel good at all.

The SoL scenes were as good as ever. Alpha waves are truly the future of tomorrow! Order one now and get a free Tougou and Sonochii!

The heavenly gods want their Lord of Cinder back on the throne. Or not, they just like watching suffering. The Darksign burning corruption thing is their hidden camera. You tell them about the camera the enemy will make them suffer.

The organization might not be directly involved in those accidents, but the amnesty they renamed themselves after is almost certainly related. We only got generalities in NoWaYu, but it's possible there are more specifics that are involved.

And then there's Yuuki Yuuna's close resemblance to Takanashi Yuuna. Somehow I think that will come up before too long.

Does is seem like Sonoko figured it out on what's going on with Yuuna?
So something bad is going to happen to the person who gets to interact with Yuuna especially when Yuuna is the one who will bring-up her sensitive case...
from the looks of it, this whole arc is not interesting and may not be the same level of the Washio Sumi movie had acheived...
4/5.

I don't see a clear way to resolve this problem, it was so sad. I would cry at the last scene again if I rewatch it for sure...

All this Yuna crying and seeing her break down because she doesn't know what to do and can't talk to anyone about it... I feel so bad for her, the impotence is very big righ now.

Poor Yuuna. She doesn't know what to do and she can't talk to anyone because of the mark she has. I feel so sad seeing her break down in the last scene. ;_;

I'm glad Fuu's injuries are not life-threatening. The Slice of Life scenes in this episode was great.

At least they have a good excuse for Yuuna to not tell the others... curse and all that. Seems like Nogi has figured out something is wrong. Yuuna should go to the Taisha, who cares if they die from the curse!

But yea... the fairies are supposed to protect them. It seems even they can't do much to stop the "curse". I wonder how much farther that will go toward disaster.

So, basically what Yuna did affect all the group. I wonder when will the group will know this.

And about Sonoko, She still has lot of secrets. If I think it well, her position before this adaption, is logic that sheknows what is Happening to Yuna.

Not fond of the crazy comedy in the beginning but otherwise it was okay. We'll know it's just a superstition and nothing would happen if she told them sooner but those things happens. It all reminds me of Blackrock Shooter to certain extent, she's now getting drown in her own despair.

Wonder how serious this gets and what the main antagonist would be. Did they forget her too after some time?

Nice Job Breaking It, Hero! Anyway we're already halfway through?!?! What?!?!?! This is going way too fast, which is to be expected since they only have 6 episodes to work with. Yay for executive meddling! How are they going to fix everything in 3 episodes? This is going to be bad...

^ No, this is not Tougou's fault. This is because the Taisha broke the treaty with the Heavenly Gods. Read NoWaYu and KuMeYu.

These girls just can't seem to catch a fricking break. This show doesn't really mash comedy and tragedy that well together as other shows can.
