| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- As usual, the episode passed too quickly!! Sugita and Nakai really nailed the voices, which is absolutely fantastic. Shinpachi, Kagura and Otose's reaction to Gin-chan's "transformation" was really funny xD And the transformed Shinsengumi and transformed Yorozuya were hilarious as well. I didn't get the references unfortunately but Kagura + Sougo = yes. The preview was awesome. This arc continues next week, can't wait! |

| Lots of fun as expected of a Gin+Hijikata ep. Seeing Gin smoke was weird XD Gotta admit he looks so cool with the hairstyle Hijikata chose for himself. Poor Hijikata getting screwed over by Gin telling Kagura and Shinpachi to wring him out of money lol, such a lovable asshole as usual. And ofc he's not free from suffering from Sougo's killing attempts XD The overreaction to Gin paying the rent and how Otose was informing the entire neighborhood was hilarious. Kagura in a ponytail was cute :3 And Tama as always being awesome knowing right away that they were switched. Glad we're gonna get more of her nxt chap <3....and Zura will be added to the mix? OH HELL YEAH :D |

| Really fun episode. It's like I watched the entire thing for only 10 minutes. xD Both seiyuus have been doing a fantastic job playing their character with a different ego, so it sure sounded funny hearing Hijikata speak with a laid back voice. :D Everyone from Yorozuya were shocked in disbelief when "Gintoki" was actually handing out their wages and paying their rent. :'D And I lost it when I saw Kondou's gang dressed up as the motorbike riding bandits from Hokuto no Ken. xD Its OP played too on the background. xDD |

| When the first chapter of this arc happened in the manga I couldn't believe it, it was like up was down and left was right lmao. Nakai and Sugita were awesome!! I don't think I laughed this much since the season began. |

Hahaa, well they were referencing Hokuto no Ken with the shinsengumi, and with Sougo and Kagura and Shinpachi, Rurouni Kenshin. Gatotsu was the finishing move of Saito Hajime in Rurouni Kenshin (he was also a Shinsengumi). haha but this arc is amazing, Nakai and Tomokazu ARE ALWAYS ON POINT. Can't wait for the next arcs. |

| Amazing episode. To me the Soul Switch Arc is probably the funniest arc that wasn't animated yet. Shinsengumi Yorozuya and Shinsegumi Hokuto no Ken's Zeed biker gang reference they always do. Kagura way too cute in this episode. |
| Loved how Gin transformed the Shinsengumi into a bunch of thugs from Hokuto no Ken (that recurring joke always gets me) and Hijikata turned Shinpachi and Kagura into badasses. Great episode and if the preview is anything to go by, the next one should be even funnier with the addition of Katsura to the mix. |

| Gintama never fails to deliver! I absolutely loved this episode (I am probably a little biased, though, since any episode that features Gintoki and Hijikata interacting recieves my love. Definitely one of my favourite relationships). Otose banging on a lid, telling everyone that a meteorite was going to hit them because Gin (well, Hiji) decided to be a responsible adult was way too hilarious. And based Tama saves the day again, of course. I'm definitely looking forward to next week!! Edit: forgot to mention that Nakai and Sugita were really amazing. Even though I would've liked that their voices were switched as well, I'm equally as thrilled with this approach! |

| Hokuto No Ken + Rurouni Kenshin, Love it. Gatotsu Vs Kuzu Ryu Sen, wish it also happened in Rurouni Kenshin This week ending featured Kamotarou Itou  Still remember his rivalry with Hijikata and their last duel which quiet tear jerking. Can't wait for next episode. |

| The Kenshin/Gatotsu references were too much. Even more hilarious that it's plasuabile as Hijikata is part of the Shinsengumi. Fucking ROFL at the current Shinsengumi though. When they rode up and just started laughing my ass off. Then they started throw out more references. Couldn't stop the laughter. I was eating inside a store while watching this and I must have looked like a total idiot laughing my ass off. |
