| Honestly, I enjoyed this more than the majority of the Naruto/Neji battle. It almost felt like I was watching Death Note- Naruto edition or something. It was even cool how Shikamaru just said "fuck it". I'm expecting great things out of him in the future, 'cause he is pretty cool. |

His high intellect and ability to critically think ahead of his opponents at all times just like chess is pure genius. His is a "true" ninja. Reminds me alot of hunter X hunter battles. |

| Loved this episode, lol. Shikamaru is prob one of my favorite characters now. I think these exams are showcasing the talents of those in the Leaf Village considering a war is about to start..Shikamaru could be the equivalent of a general/leader if he wanted to be with his level of genius. That village has a lot of interesting warriors! |

| shikamaru sure makes his battles the more interesting ones than exciting, he just shows how battle can be in any other way than just free action. though i foresaw his strategy from the moment he saw the hole naruto made and knew he would gonna use that. i think shikamaru is one of the examples to lose the fight but to become chunin, he really knows when his stuff well, he's gonna be hell of chunin :p and chouji just made me so LOL xD |
