i'm so sorry i've been so dead this whole year so much has happened 😭😭 i'll try to never up and die on you again
the hard drive on my laptop ended up getting damaged and i had to get a new one, and none of my files were backed up i had to start all over again on so much stuff. then i just lost motivation with getting back to the anime and manga i was on for a while in general (on top of having to grind driving lessons) its been a bit hectic

i mean i don't think i've ever logged into mal with so many notifications before, a whole 16. i feel kind of sorry for all the people who commented happy birthday on my profile that i'm just seeing now 😅
although i did make an anilist! but i don't think i ended up being very active. i kind of forgot about it LMAO

Great, which manga are you adding to your collection? I have 2 volumes left to complete my Jigokuraku collection. I wanted to start one for Toiled Bound Hanako-kun, but I am not that invested. I will try to sell them on Marketplace.
In regards of anime, nothing new comes to my mind right now; maybe Bleach, especially the newer seasons, and Ousama Ranking. Radiant also has its charm, especially the second season.

Guess I never told you, now you know I guess. xD I honestly think you can breeze through them in 3 days each if you're well-planned and is able to understand the subway, because that was hard to wrap your head around the first day or two let me tell you. BRO THE FOOD MFAMSFMSFM it was soooo good. One of my new favorite dishes is "Tonkatsu" and it's not even hard to cook for yourself. Other notable dishes that are not too well known that were amazing were okonomiyaki and takoyaki too but I ofc I ate suhsi and ramen because no shit... xD I'll try to get all my pictures on the same place in a day or two when I get the energy to do so. Yeah, hopefully I can go to universal studios next time, such a sad thing that we didnt have time.

Well, I do know Korean to some extent. I understand what my relatives are saying but when its time for me to speak my mind goes blank. I dont know if you have experience learning a new language since I assume English is your primary language, but it's such an annoying hurdle to get over. My mind just goes blank, but when someone says a word or sentence I instantly know what it means. I dont think I'll go to langauge school since I dont plan on living there, but I do plan on getting better in Korean and getting more confidence in it.

Isnt London like outrageously expensive? Man, I dont like big cities, no wonder you cant afford going overseas when you live in London. I usually dont go out travelling since I'm in the same boat with money... xd I've gone overseas twice in the last decade. When was the last time you were overseas and where did you go?

I celebrated I bit early with my parents and relatives, and it was a splendid and enjoyable celebration, thanks for asking.
Don´t worry, I still think of you as a friend, and whether out of the blue or not, I am always thankful and glad to hear from people who I enjoyed talking with, as well as the ones who take their time to congratulate me hahaha.

I dont know if I told you or not but I'm half South Korean, so I do need visit my relatives there on occassion. I was only in Japan for three days. DDDD: It was my first time there but we managed to do sooo much. We were in Osaka mainly and Kyoto for one day. Maaaan, I wish I could be there for longer :(. I hope to revisit next year, hopef. We went to Dotonbori which is a famous street in Osaka filled to the brim with restaurants and shopping. We also went to the Osaka aquarium and that shit was magical, you went down a spiral while seeing sea-animals from all over the world. I got a lot of pictures I can share with you if you're interested, but I'll have to make a collage (I plan on doing it anyway its just if you want to see). I missed Nintendo World and Universal Studios which was a HUUUUGE bummer, but hey it was only 2 days and we managed to do alot so... Kyoto was magical too, we went to Kiyomizu-dera temples which is a touristy spot, but it was still awesome and such a magical place regardless. I can go on and on about Japan but you get the picture. Korea wasnt that fun for me since I got sick with Covid :). Although, the time I did get to spend with my cousin, aunt and grandparents was such a blast, even with the language barrier we have.

Barista is a hard job, but it does come with a lot of fun stories to tell. I wish you the best of luck with job hunting so you can eventually afford going to Japan or wherever you like with the money you get. :D Also, congratulations to your brother!!! I have a part-time job at a supermarket and I'm really content working there. I've been happy in general because of it. But hey, it'll come crashing down soon enough xd

Oh, man you got great timing. I just came home from Korea/Japan after a 2-week visit.

I can't wait to re-read The Fable after all the vols are out. Lot of good series coming out lately and I need to pick up more since I'm behind on some stuff (I also need to update my list here since I had a minor haul last week)

I think that it's wrong to say that they're very much the same, they're all deliquent manga's yes but TR for example Takemichi wants to be a delinquent, meanwhile in Astro the MC just wants to be nice. He was forced to be a delinquent because of his family (not that this has been explored that he doesn't want to be but already at this point the characters are different even tho they're very basic shonen archetypes.

I think this is very different from what he has done previously but it doesn't really work since that was basically the worst thing about Tokyo Revengers, the fantasy element or rather how the time travel wasn't grounded in reality. And so are these powers, they don't seem to have much of a logic behind them and I doubt he could pull off some explanation later on if it gets axed

Also gm or ig afternoon now! I forgot to add as well that I've some of my manga collection on AL but it's harder to view since you've to press my manga list then the tab and then look over each entry how many vols there're lol!

I've been doing it for awhile and I didn't really have any other finacial responsibilities :3 Bookdepo arc was insane as well.

And I think it's still too early for me to form a proper opinion since it hasn't had a major arc yet, which seems like what's going on might be the first. And I'm not impressed, it feels like Ayashimon and Build King in the way that Jump just wanted a famous mangaka to come to the magazine without a proper idea. Tbf Ayashimon was more structured than Build King and Astro but lacked alot of other things. Sales doesn't seem to be doing too hot for Astro either so if I were you I would just wait since it'll probably be under 5 vols at this point.
