No problem, i always love talking to fans, rather if there new or old. My only criteria is that there respectful and i pretty much acknowledge anyone on here. I saw you were kind of new here. Just wanted to give you a nice welcome. The community is great here as well. Anime is a wonderful hobbie, im sure you will enjoy it. I been a fan for like 12 years and im still not ever thinking bout stopping lol. Im a huge gamer though to and i love to read books so i appreciate a well developed story and characterization. It is the "perfect" excuse to escape reality, em i right? :p

Let me guess. You heard so much hate bout naruto, or anyone that thinks naruto is good is a anime noobie or the series is overrated, ect, ect, ect. But you gave it a shot anyway. All i have to say is GOOD for you! Bet your also wondering why people give it so much hate, its because of the ratings on here, people never even want to give it a chance any more because everyone mostly goes by MAL ratings.
I can't tell you how much i hate hearing that, i really thoroughly enjoyed that series so much and i seriously don't see why people give it so much hate. The show has a very strong emotional level to the story, great characterization and great action and music. What more can you ask for. Sure it isn't finished. Maybe thats why people give it so much hate or the fact that they suffered through a year of endless filler. Now a days all the new people that are getting into naruto though just skip the filler. Although not alot of people know but the last 10 min of episode 220 is actually manga content lol. It shows when naruto leaves the village to go and train with the Euro-Senin. Then shipuuden begins when he comes back 3 years later.
Anyway Its kind of sad now, i'm just so appalled by how people are looking at it now. Even new fans that try to watch it, are just contradicting them selfs, there waiting for some kind of an excuse to say the episode is so so, when in fact if they never read any ratings on MAL and just came at it with a more open mind, they would probably appreciate it more. Some people let ratings get to them to much. it used to be such a popular show in its early days. Now its considered the epitome of over rated junk. If you look at my profile, ive see my fair share of anime so i know whats good and what isn't based on my personal views and opinions of course and believe it or not naruto is still one of my favorite series.
Although i am referring to "naruto" not shipuuden, i watched 30 episodes of that show and it was ok. Lately people are telling me its getting alot better now so i might check it out one of these days. But of the first 30 episodes that i watched, i really didn't find the story on a level like the original naruto was for some reason.
