| Nice episode, indeed. Actually I expected Scar or the Homunculus(as they were called now) to attack the boys, but it's not the first time episode of FMA is not ending the way I expected it. So it's living human being, after all. I wonder how the boys are going to do anything about their bodies now. |

| man so the stone uses humans as sacrifice huh?? Sheska is soo good at remembering things, that fact that she can write a single book let alone multiple books despite being fired quite awhile ago. plus it seems Edward has alot of money :P so we learned that the scar man fought the group called homunculus. and yeah we also learned there are still alot of Ishbal people from all over the land. i wonder how they'll be able to revert back to their original bodies??? man the plot get's better and better :) |

| ^ well yeah, ofc Gluttony isn't human. When Lust got "killed" by Dr. Marco in a previous ep, she didn't even die. That should've clarified that her partner in crime isn't human either. |

| i am not sure if i can predict the ending right since this anime can be pretty surprising but i really feel like i know how it will end now that we know that the philosopher stone needs a living human as sacrifice. i really loved this episode with knowing more about the philosopher stone and stuff but i wonder now that is known what they will bring next. scar is really strong if he can fight both the homunculus but i wonder why she said oh there is still someone who believes in us does that mean they are mythical beings or something?? well i guess we will see sooner or later animefan3 said: this shouldn't be so surprising seeing how far he can open his mouth and that he eats living humans i think i would be more surprised if he was actually human lol.oh god! | More Lust and Gluttony, yay! What exactly are they if they can't seem to be killed? And I'm definitely interested in who Lust really is/was from Scar's memories, and what happened to make her the way she is now! And wow about the ingredient of live human beings... I hadn't given it much thought before, so I didn't see that coming. I don't understand why Lust needs Ed and Al though... -- 4/5 |

| Episode that gives wings to the history both of the two protagonists, that's the main one, many background to come to light, exciting! Good script, the plot apparently going to have a further push in the next episode. The cast expands, I'm happy! |

| Good to see that girl can actually have a job again, despite thinking all she could do was read ... but who the hell can remember so many books O.O Also the evil duo are "homunculi" or something and we see the Ishbalan's still doing fine despite almost going extinct back then. How ironic, the Phiosopher's Stone needs live human beings ... and Edward wants to bring his mother back with it, a life for a life. - Equivalent exchange. |

Guess I'll just have to keep watching and hope the explanation is randomly dumped off like with the circle-less transmutation technique. |

They want Ed to continue his search for the philosopher's stone since (i assume) this plays into their plans. She even said in this episode that they need him as a sacrifice. I think she doesn't want him to read Marcoh's notes because there might be some clue hidden in them about "the truth behind the truth". About security: they knew Scar was in town but so far he was only targeting state alchemists, not books. So I think security would focus on other buildings. Oh, and it looks like Lust use to be Ishbalian since she was shown alongside Scar's brother. |
