Damn, the look of despair on Mei's face hurts to watch.

Also, a reminder that Doan is a monster when it comes to power. That source of strength is no pushover especially when he's pissed. The kiss between Licht and Hina this episode though. About time.

It's only early minutes that you hurt my goddess Lynn, damm. Despite being injured Lynn seems to have escaped and went to Licht's place. I was interested in the kiss, although it was brief but I liked it. Even though Licht likes Hina, it doesn't hurt to love Licht, right? How many times have I seen Lynn cry for some reason I also feel sad, this is not a matter of liking or not but the execution at night is amazing.

I thought it was time for Lynn to die but it seemed Lynn's friends had come to help her, despite being slapped repeatedly Licht was still asleep, when the sun had rise, Lynn had lost consciousness and almost fainted that was when Licht woke up, the hero always came late.

Keep in mind that Licht wake up due to the pain in his cheek because get slapped many times, lol.

Emotional and powerful episode I gotta say. Had me tearing up like when they came back from the past a few episodes ago. Lynn heartfelt plee to Licht asking him to wake up. Saying she was in love with him was really sweet. Could tell for a while but finally admitting it to him albeit asleep. The townsfolk showing up was really weird but it's whatever cause things worked out. The woman slapping Licht over and over kinda unsettled me. Happy there won't be any like competition pandering with Lynn and Hina. Lynne acknowledges that he needs Hina more than her. Plus later we see Licht admit to Hina he loves her. Which was also sweet. Kinda odd right before a dual but again it's whatever. Doan I guess is a patient guy, he did wait till sunrise for Licht so there's that. Hina wants them babies quick, my kinda girl. Have to see how this fight goes first now that we finally see Sonohara again. Brainwashed like when we first meet her. Licht in a bad spot facing two all by himself.

HOLY SHIT. My anxiety is through the roof after that episode. What an amazing ep. I was so ready to rage if Lynn died, was having “rage my soldiers” flashbacks... I’m so glad she made it through and got to tell Licht how she felt. Kind of a plot contrivance to have the townsfolk suddenly transport there, but I’ll take it. Of course we all knew it was going to be Hina to win in the end, but I’ll miss that romantic polygon dynamic with Nana, Lynn and Hina.

The ship finally [sailed](https://imgur.com/a/sz7Epyr) actually so adorable omg.

Taking on Doan was hard enough, but now we got Yandere Sonohara to deal with. Idk how Licht will do it with no help, he’ll have to get some type of support. Seems like a good op for Jail to make his return.

Only two eps to go, man I’ve enjoyed every second of this show. I really hope we get a second season announced.

I loved when the townsfolk came out of nowhere and then proceeded to slap Licht lifeless body and yell at him, it was taken so seriously as well. It's golden parts like this that makes this show watchable.

Wow they really changed a lot in this episode. For example it was
instead of them waiting for Licht to appear they were actually about to be killed. And Licht wasn’t supposed to show up yet
, since Licht prioritize Lynn’s health. It was emotional but if they kept the original events then it would’ve been a better episode.

This was so random. Like how did they even know where to find her and how did they get there?

I have no idea how this is going to end in 2 more episodes. I'm just glad Lynn is alive. She's best girl imo

Also, how much source material has been adapted so far?

thank you I thought I was the only one who thought this was beyond dumb, the town's folks just magically turned up magically knew what was happening the town's woman proceeds to slap Licht like a idiot I'm baffled could have been done better

Logic hasn't stopped this show before. Also loved how they brought a couple of children with them and even an infant for absolutely no reason. Like how did they think this scene would be taken seriously?

Hina's sleight of hand with the Original Ballot, coupled with Doan's undying ambition for more power, makes things worse tenfold.

Waiting for an unconscious person (Licht) is their only hope, and Lynn's moment was truly an emotional one. BUT...

LOLs GPS from the future??? But yeah, it DID what it was supposed to, comedy relief as usual (and for anyone asking, this scene's present in the manga also).

"Amazingly" Licht was brought back from the dead, the confession of Licht and Hina's moment and fulfilled the latter's purpose: to find the legendary Ace and choose him.

With a kiss, with a promise. Licht vs. Doan the restart fight, with the others aiding the injured Hina. But Sonohara has to show up now and interfere with the fight.

@RiceKnight59 as of this episode, up to Chapter 35, but the narrative has changed significantly to tie with the last 2 episodes (or at least my presumption should be somewhat correct due to the manga going in a new direction after said chapter).

Not sure why, but I agree this. Not to mention that the change of narrative THIS late is so off-putting. Tit for tat I suppose, and don't forget, only 2 episodes to wrap all of this up.

It's only me or animation style was somewhat different compared to previous episodes like it was made by different studio? or maybe they are putting more money into animation? (and thinks like hairs and/or eyes looks better)
but at least Hina's height is still "jumping" depnding on perspective, like once she looks almost as tall as Licht and in different scene she is about "two heads" smaller then him.
Manga recommendation:
- Spy x Family (Ch.108/? - biweekly) | Sakamoto Days (Ch.195/? - weekly)
- MARRIAGETOXIN (Ch.110/? - weekly) | Machi and Oboro (Ch.18/? - biweekly)
- Make the Exorcist Fall in Love (Ch.80/? - biweekly)
- Monochrome Days (Ch.10/? - biweekly)
Anime recommendation:
- Deca-Dence (Finished) | Wave, Listen to Me! (Finished)
- If My Favorite Pop Idol Made It to the Budokan, I Would Die (Finished)
- Diary of Our Days at the Breakwater (Finished)

@KANLen09 so there's a lot more to the story after this? The manga is still ongoing and I don't think it's possible to wrap up everything in 2 episodes unless they go with an anime only ending.

Most likely the latter, there's no way that this show is gonna continue with the next arc. Plus, watching this is kinda a chore more than anything.

The amount of story changes this episode have....... I have a mixed felling about it. Some of the changes were good on it's own, but some of them it's just as bad as the way they handled time travel arc (They totally ruined the mystery feels surrounding Pele).

The way Douan uses rock barrages to attacks Lyne looks cooler than Sonohara's bullets from the manga, tho (Plot armor-like shitty aiming Douan have is different story, however).

Although there's a chance they will have a original ending, I can't help but thinking that there's a sightly chance they will ends with adapting Chapter 39 (Tokikaze's return) instead. Consider they already adapted some part of Chapter 38 (General's meeting) in EP20, and how fast the pacing went overall in the second cour, I wouldn't surprise if they really went with the huge cliffhanger for the last episode.

Am I the only one who felt confused by this episode..

Putting aside the leaps in logic like the townsfolk appearing right when they were needed, I thought that it was established in an earlier episode that Licht and Hina were family.. considering the fact he admitted that he killed Hina's father who was Licht's brother.

So why doesn't he make it clear to her that they're technically family? I feel like after this kiss he's acting as if they weren't family and therefore can proceed to get into a relationship with her.. I don't know man. I feel incest vibes. Heck if he had been straight with her he could have gotten into a relationship with Lyne or Nana, who I felt would have made for a better pairing.

I've seen some raws of this because as much as I hated the dumb part episode 22 I was still curious and hence went to see if things such as the writing got better well it did I was intrigued but ain't spoiling anything but I kinda like where the story is heading now hopefully the mangaka doesn't add dumb moments like that which makes me question my own self 😂

I feel like this anime has some cringey moments, and most of them are related to Hina x Licht.

The fight against those 2 will be hard and i doubt that he can manage to defeat them at the same time, he'll probably try to take Sonohara.

And it seems that Jail is back, i do wonder if he Lvl up xD

No. I hate Hina and have from the very beginning.

I, too, preferred Lynn but feel like she's become Hina 2.0 in recent episodes and it's upsetting me.

That opening scene was bullshit.

Gravity ace guy can "kill" Licht but can't keep 3 weaklings pinned to the ground? Then he's slowed down by 2 of them holding onto him? Hina's bullshit, "Go! You can save him! I know he's alive!" Shut up, moron. Gravity guy can crush walls but can only fling small rocks at Lynn? Absurd. And then Lynn attempting to cpr Licht was melodramatic garbage.

As inexplicable as it was for that village to come save Lynn, I'm not even upset about it. Would've been dumb to just let her die without some deus ex machina.

Hina is a total SHITE character. She sucks. Always has. Always will. She's Licht's niece it something, is she not? "I know you sexually assaulted me all the time and creeped me the f out, but now I love you so LET'S MAKE LOTS OF BABIES!" STFU with this crap.

NOTHING happened this episode. One of the worst episodes in the whole season.

And Sonohara, how is it possible you're an even more worthless character than Hina?!

Oh, and if Hina is supposed to have small boobs - that's the running joke - then why have the artists enhanced them in recent episodes? Ever since she got naked for Rihito.

I hope you can cut back on classic mode. I am tired of seeing fights like that over and over again and one more thing I hope Licht doesn't lose his true nature after he got engaged so humbly and I don't know if litch and humiliation are real confessions or licht he just obeyed the orders from L-lynn for sure I will waiting for S2 and of course this anime rate will go down
