| Its great to see Chiaki put sometime into Nodame and their relationship, him canceling that trip means Nodame mean alot to him. That kiss was sweet and it didn't feel forced i liked it. |

| Finally some chiaki X nodame time!!! I feel them more matured now than in the past, shown by how they got over the Ravel thing quite fast. Love how chiaki chose to support nodame instead of Italy this once. Chiaki seemed more and more brilliant in this episode.. He's just amazing. Kinda understand how Nodame feels. And that kiss!! XD |

I was completely wrong when I though this episode would be alot of squabbling and whatnot. though still I get this creepy feeling that their will be some big dramatic twist, since that really hasn't happened at all this series. And I hope that it gets resolved by the end... |

| In Episode 4, Chiaki was tempted by Maestro Viella's invitation to the latter's rehearsal as a consequence of which he backed out on attending Nodame's salon concert in the last minute. And so in this episode, at first, it came off as a mild surprise, that he should cancel his trip to Italy in order to help Nodame. But now that I think about it, it makes sense why he was inclined to do that. He was evidently sorry about letting her down all these times-- first, by failing to keep his word to attend her salon concert just some time ago, and then again, by keeping from her the fact that he's supposed to perform the same piece alongside Rui which she so earnestly looked forward to playing with him and letting her harbour false hopes. Added to this is the fact that she's been in quite a messy situation of late as far as her academics and career are concerned, what with her teacher being of the opinion that she's not up to the mark as of yet and debarring her from participating in concours. It's no news that Chiaki acknowledges her talent and sees immense potential in her and believes that she can shine with a little aid and push. It's this conviction that drove him to back out on his trip to Italy and help her out, albeit with perhaps a little misgiving in the back of his mind, judging by his musings ('I don't know if it's the right decision to cancel this trip to Italy...') immediately after he cancels the trip. At any rate, it's also an opportunity for him to make it up to her for all those times when he let her down and show her he cares. It was high time there was some development in his relationship with Nodame, and here we had it, without it being overblown or heavy-handed. That kiss scene is probably the most 'natural' kiss scene I have seen in any anime till date. Good episode. |

| Wow Chiaki actually cancelling plans for Nodame, it's like Season 1 again lol I'm glad that the romance is progressing as well. Nodame finally feels like an adult. Has to be one of the best character developments out there. Next episode is Rui -_- |

| Ah I really loved this episode. Probably one of my favorite episodes of this series. I really appreciate both of them being mature about things that can't be helped, and helping each other out in the ways they can while respecting each others talents, workload/and need for practice. I'm happy there's no unnecessary forced drama, but there's still tense moments. It feels more realistic, I appreciate that. |
