| Not really a fan of the MC's fucked up morality. I mean first he's like "Nah, we won't save them at all." Then decides to save them with an ulterior motive, then he's like "Oh look they're grieving loved ones and suffering and I could help, though it'd be troublesome for me so I won't." Just putting this gripe out there as every other comment on this discussion is "loved this episode" or "great" or "best episode yet!" without any actual substance to them. |

| Liked the introduction of politics this episode, both micro and macro. The situation between the various empires has some intrigue, but how Momonga will fit into it is even more so. Momonga claims that his humanity is fading. He had opted to exclude himself from the situation, only to ultimately intervene with the reason being that he could test his abilities. However, he had given the potion to the woman and cast a spell to protect them even though he could have simply just told them to run away, so it'may be that he actually did care about saving their lives and used his reason for intervention as an excuse to himself. If that is the case, then it's possible he's going through an identity crisis of who he is, who he wants to be, and how he wants to be perceived. Interesting thought, but we'll see. |

| Looks like this series is fiiiinally beginning to pick up. Still not very convinced with Momonga's line of thinking; his sense of humanity is really inconsistent. |

| He's totally undead now as he can't seem to feel human emotions but his calculating intention seems to wonky. His Middle Tier Create Undead was too overpowered, granted the soldiers might be just mooks. Information is indeed power, at least he has basic grasp of the general locality, major political entities and currencies now but he needs more updated information from the urban centers itself and not from the rural outbacks like Crane. As he surmised, it is possible that the Slane Theocracy is behind the attacks and not the Empire but they're really after the Royal Head Warrior who came calling to defend the villages and whom he just met. |

| Well, that was a one-sided fight. Momonga could have wiped them out by himself. Poor Albedo had to prep for the battle but did nothing at all, lol. Exposition dump. Complicated names, flew by me, tbh. I'm sure I'll understand it eventually. Got to say, I'm surprised they showed a decapitation when mere moments before they did a slight black screen censor. Strange. |

| This show reminds me a lot of Berserk, which is great. Bloody and violent action with a more serious and mature art style. |
| Ah gore, excellent. This show is stepping up a notch,action was so intense. Albedo's armor is so awesome. Got to see Momonga kick some monster ass, fricking love the Dread Knight and his onslaught towards the knights. One thing I like about Momonga is that he's intelligent and takes his time to research the nearby areas and what he gain from all the information he has been given. Next episode looks like it's gonna be even more intense there. |

They're so common everywhere! 5:52 Hmm, the graphic effects of dying in that game are lame. They disappear just like that. 7:04 What a waste to kill that girl. If I was that knight, I'll have my way with her first, or much better, I'll force her into a sex slave. 14:34 He could've chosen a cooler-looking mask. lol So far so good. This show is so much better than Reincarnated as a Slime. Momonga > Rimuru any day! |

| This is starting to get interesting. In almost all adventure series, monsters are the enemies while humans are the protagonists. For now, it seems that humans are antagonists, though Momonga would gain some human allies. From two boring episodes, I'm starting to see this anime's virtues in terms of world building. I'm just not used to rooting for monsters or not see any waifu characters. |
