I don't really know which one I like better, this one or the series. I guess I like them about the same. I do like how they actually incorporated romance into the movie, whereas in the series it was just him solving their problems and not really touching upon such things.

Well I started watching it kind of late, and I guess I accidentally the whole thing through morning. It was pretty good, and it was a little difficult to understand at first, but you get it eventually.
I felt like it was a cross between Guess Who and Final Destination. |

I'm glad I watched this one after the series, otherwise I may have spoiled a few things for myself.
The only thing I didn't like about this is how they portrayed her sister dying at the end. Her facial expression just seemed unnatural for her to die of cancer like that (I think that's how she died?) |

A really good series that was a bit hard to follow because of the amount of characters, and it took me a bit to figure out who was who. Wish I could find a way to watch the series in complete chronological order :/

Darling in the FranXX
It started slow, but that was to build up the characters, which worked well. I typically stay away from mech series due to their hollow nature, but I was pleasantly surprised for the most part. However, the story started to fall and the introduction of the VIRM were completely outside of what anyone expected. It was pretty much Mass Effect in the end.
The only redeeming quality of the series was the cast, minus 02. Everyone seemed so well written, and I feel as though Ichigo didn't do anything wrong when she tried to prevent 02 from meeting Hiro again. She was knowingly siphoning away his life. I did like the backstory of when they were kids and Hiro met 02. I feel as though there were a lot of unanswered questions: Why was their group given special treatment? Was it because of Hiro? Did they know he had ingested some of 02's blood? How did humanity come to be if the VIRM wiped out the Klaxosaurs? Did humanity just never find any of that ancient technology? Why the Hell does magma make people immortal? Overall a bittersweet ending. |

Durarara!!
Personally, I enjoyed the first half of the show a lot more than the second half. Being thrown into the series with no background knowledge of it, I didn't really know what was going on. The build up to the climax, and the climax itself, and the resolution were all great for the first half.
The second half wasn't as great, and the climax left a lot t be desired. The resolution was foreseeable, which gave me a decent grasp on how the climax would go. I'm not saying it was bad or anything, but it just wasn't as good as the first half. |

Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood
The only thing I can say is, lol. I officially started this series on May 2, 2009, but didn't watch any of. Why? I don't remember, but I hadn't actually felt like watching it until recently because I was bored. Now here I am, more than two years later, finishing it.
I really liked this series. Finished it in a week and a half. It would have been sooner, had my computer actually worked, or even my External that has all the episodes on it, alas they're both broken. I did indeed enjoy this series more than the original, but that's not saying that I disliked the first series at all. |

This series was a little weird to me. I couldn't really get into it at the beginning, but I didn't want to drop it. Once I got to a certain point, I honestly couldn't stop. There wasn't anything in particular that made me keep going, I just couldn't stop.

Hachimitsu to Clover II
So when I found out that there was a second series to this show, I was ecstatic, mainly because the first series didn't really end with any closure.
Unfortunately, this series ended with closure, but just not in the way that I had hoped. It ended more with just dealing with life, as opposed to having some sort of romantic ending. But that's what you expect from a Josei series -_- I did enjoy this series, regardless of how it ended. And it would have been done in one sitting had Greg not texted me to go play Modern Warfare 2 |

Higashi no Eden
The first episode really doesn't do the show justice. It gives almost zero indication of the plot, other than the phones that each Selecao has. It really put me off from the series, as it didn't seem all that interesting. I"m glad I continued it though.
This reminded me of a combination of Doubt and Mirai Nikki. Special phones with the power to grant anything you want (essentially) as well as being able to see what anyone else buys? Oh and one of the twelve Selecao will come to kill you if you mess up, but no one know who it is. Interesting premise, and it was executed well. |

Higashi no Eden Movie I: The King of Eden
There really wasn't anything special. The creators said they didn't want to produce another series, but instead wanted to make two hour and a half movies. I don't really see the reason, because if they were already making three hours of run time, that's about nine episodes. They could have thrown together two more for either character development or just to add more the the series.
However, watching the one movie was fine, so I'm sure that either way it would have worked out fine. The movie was just a continuation of the series. Takezawa disappeared, and Saki went to go find him. Nothing too special, but they finally get into the whole Selecao conflict. I am excited for the second movie to finally end things. |

Jeez, I'd been planning to watch this one for a while now, and I'm so glad I did. The animation quality was a little below what I'm used to, but it came out in like '98, so it's alright. The only problem I had was the significant change in animation quality. It's not a bad thing, but after hauling out 26 episodes in a matter of three days, I was pretty used to the way the characters looked. But hey, who cares? Everything looked nicer, and everything was still great.

I'm giving this one a ten because it's a movie. It's a movie, and everything about it is done so well. In a matter of two hours, they were able to fit like four races in, as well as a large amount of plot development. I forgot I was even watching a movie; it seemed more like a slightly longer episode than anything really.

K-On!
Heard it was good, so I my standards for it were pretty high. It's a really good slice of life series, and it made me laugh a lot, so I did end up enjoying it.
I guess I see Mio's appeal, but it doesn't quite work for me. She comes across as a really cute character, but her appearance almost completely nullifies that aspect of cuteness. I'd have to say that Yui is definitely the cutest out of all of them. She's just so adorable, what with the way she speaks and names things. Not too far behind Yui is Mugi. I guarantee that if she had more screen time, she'd be absolutely adorable. One thing I'd like to point out is that Mio's singing is definitely better than Yui's. |

I really liked it, and I'm even considering playing the dating sim so I can get a better feel for the series.

I found the second phenomenon, the Unleashing of Desires, to be quite boring. A lot of the drama throughout the series was really forced, and characters were just unwilling to do what had to be done to solve their issues.

Kokoro Connect: Michi Random
Despite enjoying this arc a lot, I just found it to be really annoying. The way Iori acted the entire time was just so frustrating. She wanted to stop acting cheerful because on the inside she didn't care at all? So why even act cheerful and happy to begin with? And then all of a sudden she cares about her friends again? Her actions and mindset just conflict with each other, especially when in the end it boils down to her just being afraid from the situation that they were all in. I guess she just panicked and couldn't handle dealing with people? I don't know, it all just really bothered me.
The best thing to come from this was that Taichi and Inaba got together ^^ |

I had really been meaning to watch the show ever since it went onto Adult Swim, but I never got around to it. So when I watched a documentary about how Anime had changed itself as well as the culture that it influenced, I decided to watch this because it played a key role in Anime first starting in America, and I figured, "Hey, it's on Netflix, why not?"

There really wasn't anything special about this series. It was weird though. A Civil War cut Japan in half, and one side built a giant tower that messed up the dimensional flow, or something like that.

I really liked this one. I remember the first time I saw it was on Toonami. Richie wanted me to tape it because he wasn't home, so as I started to record it (back on a VCR), I remember e called me up to remind me. And as we were talking, it got to the part where the main character pretty much shot an arrow through I think two people, cutting one of their arms off. It was great because I didn't expect it haha

Myself; Yourself
Alright. I started it thinking it was going to be a romance, maybe throw in a love triangle or two. No. It ends up being semi-romantic with depressing undertones throughout the entire God damn series.
The main character, Sana, comes back to his hometown after moving. The reason? He tried to kill himself and needed to be with his old friends that would hopefully make him feel better. The girl that liked him, Nanaka, well her mother died in a fire. She thought her Dad died in the fire too, but it turns out her mother cheated on the father with his best friend and had her, but the friend Sakuraba (Not too sure) died of cancer. On his death bed he told the father and he was like '"WTF?!", beat his wife, and set the house on fire, including himself. Nanaka saw all of this, but jumped out of the window and forgot. When she regained all of her memories, she slit her wrist and tried to kill herself. She got mad at Sana for trying to sympathize saying things like "You haven't done this, you don't know what I was feeling!" Only for him to respond with the scar that he was kept hidden with his wristwatch. Now, Sana's other childhood friends, the Wakasuki (Not sure on the spelling) twins, Shuri and Shuu. Their real mother is dead and their father is the town councilor. Rumors spread around the school that they are incestuous and were seen coming out of a love hotel. Their father finds out, knows it's bad for his career and decides to send Shuri to London. Because Shuu and Shuri were so close, they decided to run away, to where? They never say. Now these rumors were spread by Hoshino who is apparently a lesbian for Shuri and constantly thinks malicious thoughts. Hoshino wasn't really part of the main group, but she's just a cunt that deserves to get her teeth knocked in. Then the last of the childhood friend group was Aoi. Nothing bad happened to Aoi, at all. She only had big tits. That was her character. They had a loli in there, but she fell into a hole a little more than halfway through the series. But during the latter half of the series I was constantly saying to myself "WTF?!" It got darker and darker as the series progressed: The loli's home life was a disaster with a family that didn't seem to care much for her. Sana tried to kill himself. Nanaka tried to kill herself after finding out she was the illegitimate child of her mother and violin teacher and tried to kill herself. Shuu and Shuri run away because their father would beat them and their step mother was a slut. Nothing happened to Aoi, though she had by far one the funniest screams I've ever heard. Hoshino tried to make Shuri like her and eventually hated her because she turned her down. After 10 years it seems as if everyone has come to terms with their problems: Right before the concert that Nanaka was going to perform in, Sana proposes to her and she accepts. Aoi is as happy as ever. Hoshino saves the park that the concert is in It is heavily implied that Shuu and Shuri become lovers after they ran away. Oh and the loli (who's 20 after the time skip) is (I think) fucking a 15 year old guy. Yeah, that's the show. WTF? |

After being pestered constantly from Jordan and Mike, I finally got around to watching it. It was better than I thought it would be. I was expecting it to be a typical harem series with noting special, but that wasn't entirely the case.
The ending was pretty realistic, compared to what normally happens. Though, I have to say that the Protagonist's actions to deal with how is girlfriend was acting was a little extreme, but not completely uncalled for. The ending made me feel like the series could go on, as if it hadn't even ended. There wasn't much closure, other than he picked a girlfriend, but it's implied that the other girls still like him, as well as a handful of other girls. |

Alright. The second season is definitely a step down from the first one, and I'm hesitant to not give this a lower rating >.>
First off: Fuck. Endless. Eight. Eight episodes of the same God damn thing? C'mon. That's just ridiculous. Every other episode was fine and I liked it, but if they just changed Endless Eight. . . Well whatever. Though, I kinda wish I got to see Kyon hit Haruhi. She deserved it. I didn't like the impression the last episode left. The way Koizumi made it seem was that there was so much violence and that everyone is deceiving each other. Either Mikuru is using her appearance to distract Kyon or Koizumi is just trying to deceive everyone simply because he cannot be trusted. Unfortunately, Nagato couldn't really say anything about the matter either, so it left me with a feeling you wouldn't expect form this type of series. |

I thoroughly enjoyed this series, however, I think I liked the post time skip period better than the pre-time skip period.
I didn't tear up once during the first part of the series, even after when Kamina died. I think I may have during the final battle with Lord Genome because of how everyone was fighting and just what they were saying. I did cry a little when everyone started to sacrifice themselves for eveyone else's sake. And I really did start to like Kitan towards the end of the series, and I am pissed that he dies. At least it was for a good cause. |

This was a terrible representation of the Manga that relied solely on fan service for appeal, much like how the Manga started to act towards the end of the series.

Toki wo Kakeru Shoujo
This one was really good. I didn't quite expect the plot twist, nor did I really enjoy the ending.
I remember being on /a/ and finding a live stream of this, where the host kept saying that he kept on going back in time, screwing over some girl's life every time, just to protect the painting. And originally, her Aunt was the main character. I dunno, I'll have to read the book eventually. |

True Tears
It's a little odd, things didn't really make sense at the beginning.
Well after finishing it, I have a few things to say. 1) I wanted him to end up with Ai-chan, but I guess that was a little too much to ask for -_- 2) Noe, to me, seems like a fucking psycho bitch. 3) I guess Hiromi was a good choice =\ I'm just glad they didn't turn out to be siblings, that'd be cliche. 4) Feelings just kept swapping, it was ridiculous 5) I know Shin-chan's story was based off of his own feelings, just using different things to symbolize otehr things, but I didn't get it. At all. 6) It kept me on edge, it was difficult to determine who he'd end up with. Even at the end I was thinking, he better go out with Hiromi, because if he doesn't, I'ma choke a bitch. 7) Noe is a psycho bitch 8) Number 4 (Noe's brother) is into incest. Sick fuck. 9) That's probably why she's a psycho bitch. 10) It wasn't bad, gotta find a new serious romance now. |

Tsuki ga Kirei
I'm surprised it was an anime original series. Everything about it was great, there was no bullshit, no misunderstandings, and no one backed down from how they felt. They just put it out into the open. They captured the awkwardness perfectly, from the anxious texting to the awkward eye contact. There was a lot of emotion in this series and the creators definitely put a lot of work into it.

This series will forever hold a special place within my heart. Even after 25 years, the series itself holds up to the test of time. I will always have fond memories of trying not to miss the weekly episodes airing on Toonami, setting the VCR to record it just in case I forgot.

Zoids Shinseiki/Zero
Well it took a while, but I finally re-watched it. After watching it on Toonami back in the day, I had fond memories of the show. Now, after re-watching it, I have a few things to say.
The battles were predictable, almost always having the outcome as the same. The characters were alright, not much to any of them really. And they finished most battles with the 'Strike Laser Claw.' Sure it was interesting, but meh. Though, I must say, the last few episodes (The Royal Tournament Arc (Ep. 24 - 26)) was fucking amazing. Considering I didn't even remember the ending, it was great. You could pretty much just watch those three episodes and get a feel for the entire show. The only thing you'd miss were them introducing The Backdraft Group, The different Liger armors, and some of the reoccurring characters. Now, I'm not one for Mech type shows, but this one was only good because I had watched it when I was younger. I don't really like most Mech type Animes mainly because they all have the same plot, in a sense, which usually goes something like this... "OMG J00 H4V3 F0UND TEH L33T HAXXORZ R0B0T. JOO R TEH L33T!" ...Something along those lines. But, and I say this again, I liked it because I had watched it when I was younger. (The last few episodes boosted it from a 4 or 5 to a 7, in my book.) |
