Abunai Sisters: Koko & Mika

You know, I have a rule in watching anime. It's called a "no drop" rule, wherein I won't drop any anime that I started to watch.

I watched Pupa, and bulldozed through it.
Watched Mars of Destruction, just laughed.
Skelter Heaven? Laughed once again.

I, however, was close to my breaking point here. I almost broke the rule in the frustration of watching anime. But I'm no pussy, oh no I'm not. I tread the most dangerous journey I have faced so far.

Abunai Sisters.

I can't even believe this anime exists. There is no SINGLE redeeming quality ... about this anime. It didn't make me laugh, oh no it did not. It was so bad, that it deserves a negative rating.
I'm not sure what the writers and producers was on while creating this. What would they think the show would do? Did they think it would be a smash hit?
It definitely smashed my brain.

Abunai Sisters is the greatest example of an anime that should never be followed. What this show presents isn't even fanservice, I don't even know what it is!

STORY: The Abunai Sisters, Koko and Mia go on a great adventure, which I have only seen 2/10 episodes of because the other 8 have been lost in the space time continuum. However in the 2 view able episodes Koko and Mia go to locations beyond imagination, such as a beach and a car. Koko and Mia are 2 boobylicious women who hold the booby gem, which makes people want to attack them. The 2 villains (a pervert and an old lady) try to steal the booby gem on this epic quest.

Art: The greatest 3d animation that Production I.G. ... could produce (yes that is really who is behind this monstrosity).

Sound: The spy movie-like intro and voice acting are outstanding and astonishing.

Character: Koko and Mia have great personalitits and go through the epic journey of character development, boob size increase.

Ohhh yes, Abunai Sisters.

This "anime" is probably one of the funniest things I've watched in a long time.
It's great for when you're with friends and need a laugh. I watched it all in one night with my friend and we've never laughed so hard before.

Don't get me wrong, the story, art, sound, and characters all suck, but we enjoyed it a lot. It's one of those things where it's so bad it's good.

I would recommend it to everyone, because it's just so funny to watch at 2 AM when you're tired, it'll really give you a laugh.

As a filthy cave dwelling otaku male I do enjoy the physique of a woman, and anime, as a medium, is choke full of scantily dressed women in any manner of undress you could possibly want. However, Abunai Sisters is so terrifying that I never want to see a pair of breasts for as long as I live.

This show is not just bad, but offensively bad. Everything from the animation to the music to the voice acting is awful. I've been watching anime for the best part of four years now and I've come across a lot of crap but I think this show takes ... the cake for the absolute worst anime I have ever seen and maybe the worst piece of media I have ever consumed too. Even worse than every single Nicki Minaj song...yeah we've sunk THAT low.

Produced by Production I-G, the same studio that brought us anime such as 'Ghost in the Shell' and 'Cromartie High School' brings us Abunai Sisters, a show in which two sisters named Whore 1 and Whore 2 solve various crimes and the such...I think. I mean, I get they're supposed to be detectives or secret agents or something stupid along those lines but everything is so nonsensical that it's hard to tell what is going on half the time. The entire show is made in 3-D which is some of the worst 3-D animation I have ever seen. The character models look like shit and everything feels clunky. The voices were unbearable and every time I heard them speak, it felt like a chipmunk was put into a blender. If I ever have to hear the opening scream"AUUUBANIIII SISTERRRS!!" ever again I think I'll blow my brains out.

The fan-service is terrible and comes across more so terrifying if anything else. The boobs are constantly bouncing for no reason and simply look like three basketballs lined up next to each other. Every single joke is a reference to how 'sexy' they are or about their rather large breasts which come across as distasteful since the designs are so unappealing. Imagine if a ninety-year-old woman was trying to parade her body around for you, believing she is sexy, and you essentially have the fan-service of this show: Awkward and uncomfortable. This terrible attempt at titillation and enticement of male viewership is pathetic and if someone actually becomes aroused at the sight of these women you need to get to a strip club at the next possible convenience.

This anime is AWFUL. Terrible narrative, boring characters who are just there for fan-service and, even then, they STILL mess it up coupled with some of the worst CG animation around makes for one of the worst anime I've ever seen. No words can express the distaste I had in my mouth I had after watching this and no shortage of critique can express how bad this show actually is. I couldn't even have a laugh at it, like I could with other bad titles like 'Mars of Destruction'. Don't watch it. Curiosity killed the fucking cat!

First Reaction Review: For those that know me, you would know that Ecchi shows like this are not always bad. I like ecchi stuff sometimes, like Panty and Stocking with Garderbelt. This show on the other hand… this show… It’s a lot like Hentai but without the sex. Let me explain, the first episode shows the abunai alarm in the girls breasts (I guess they had surgery to get those done), the way that they fight the shark is shaking the bottle of Champagne up and down while making rather sexual sounds and then popping off the top. There is a lot of sexual references ... to the show that just makes it feel stupid and wrong. It must have been made for the sake of perverts because I see nothing good. I could only find one episode of this show on Crunchyroll surprisingly and couldn’t find it anywhere else.

The animation looks really cheap with everything looking like plastic. The girl’s hair just looks pasted on and their clothing makes me wonder if its just latex painted on. There heads are overly large for their body and only seem to match their large breasts that flop around in front of them. I swear they actually made jiggle physics just for their breasts that look swollen. I mean for real, I never seen normal people with how those breasts look. Someone botched that surgery. All the movement that they do is really elaborated like they are walking on a cat walk all the time. I know they talk about how they are big celebrates but I have more of a feeling that they are strippers or porn stars then actually having a normal job. Ya, that’s probably what their job is, secret agents undercover as porn stars. On the other hand, the character Matsumoto is way too realistic in his face details like a creepy puppet. Again his head is really large but over all, I think he fits with the perverted way he talks and such. I think it’s the shows way of saying ‘this is our viewer base’ in a way.

I don’t normally say this, but I cannot believe that Production I.G. made this. This is a show that did Eden of the East, Ghost in the Shell, and so on. No one put any effort into this show, and I couldn’t really tell weather or not they were actually trying to make it bad. I see a couple things that could be used as satire for other shows like this… but I can’t tell if it was done for a reason.

The music is actually kind of good, the stereotypical secret agent kind of music. The opening just has a strange high pitched male saying ‘Abunai Sisters’ over and over again. It’s pretty much basic. There really isn’t much to talk about in that. When we get into the voices, oh god. The voices are so bad! They sound like valley girls who have the IQ of two. And no, that is not against any valley girls out there, it’s a stereotype of TV shows. Mika seems to be the youngest in how they talk and act, being slightly more modest… like a grain of sand size modest then her sister Koko. Koko on the other hand is more scandelless. If you watched the show, then you would understand what I mean.

I do not understand why this show even really exists. It’s not funny, its just dull in the humor; its not sexual, the characters just look strange and unreal even by anime standards; and the action that I saw just felt stupid. Overall, this was mostly a waste of time. If it gets better later, I don’t know as I cannot find the other episodes but from what I saw in the first episode, this isn’t worth finding.

"STORY"
Two sisters, Koko and Mika, hold the Boobie Gem, which is the only reason they're celebrities (and overly-fanserviced), because they're holding the gem, they're gonna get attacked, a lot. 2/10

The "COMBAT", is like: "A sister shakes a bottle like she's giving a handie, and then the cap blinds the robot shark, and she fires a gun and EXPLOSION" This... actually happened. 1/10

The "CHARACTERS", everyone except the sisters, ARE COMPLETELY UGLY, what kind of person thought it would be okay for a pathetic pervert and old lady for villains? Now at the sisters, they are overly-fanserviced, even though they are the most beautiful FOR THIS ... SHOW, their personality, normal girls, isn't really intimidating.

"SOUND" is horrible, the opening is like a spy movie intro! which isn't even the type for this show! I didn't mind it much, though.
What really sucks is the "VOICES" Matsumoto, the pathetic pervert, sounds like a guy that came out of his basement! And the old lady doesn't even sound old!

"ART" is cheap 3D, which isn't even worth ranting about.

I hated it, the more episodes you'll watch, the more you'll hate it, OVERALL, don't watch it, not even worth your 3 mins of life.
The episodes are hard to find, so I'm pretty sure you can't even finish it IF YOU WANT.

I was told not to watch it. So I did what any normal person would do and watched it. I have now been for the past 10 minutes at a complete loss of words, I don't know okay? I just don't fucking know. Like does this even deserve a score? Just don't watch it okay? Listen I know how reverse psychology works and now you're probably looking it up right now, just remember, you won't know either.

This series is absolute garbage. It doesn't even appear to be made by the Japanese. It looks like a shitty late night Adult Swim program. Story, characters, all irrelevant. Art style, horrifying. This series is to be avoided at all costs.

This anime changed my life.
My friend and I found this gem on Crunchyroll and after the first episode we NEEDED more. So we went to find episode two, and finally, after watching Boku no Pico for three minutes, we found it on a low rent porn site. Episode two was just as amazing 10/10 art, story, and titties. We found the rest of the series on Kissanime and it lived up to their "high quality anime" tagline. Because, God Damn if this wasn't the best anime I've seen in my life, so many plot twists ::SPOILER:: like when the fish 'dies' to the poisonous meatball ... (a true Abunaitaku will know what I'm talking about). All and all 10/10 anime, even more amazing than Cory in the House.

It`s both really easy and really difficult to claim that something as "the worst" of any particular medium. It`s really easy in the sense anyone can hyperbolically claim something is "the worst" based on their personal preferences and/or depending on their hatred of said thing. It can also be really difficult from a critical standpoint, since things can be bad for a variety of reasons, and you can always call something worse.

Usually, most forms of media have SOMETHING redeemable about them, even if they`re really easy to hate or make fun of when it comes to their flaws. Personally, I very rarely call something "the ... worst", even if I absolutely loathe it. But in this case, I think I have to make an exception. "Abunai Sisters: Koko & Mika" is one of the worst things in any medium, let alone anime, that I`ve ever seen, and it comes in swinging hard for that title.

Abunai Sisters is a short 10 episode OVA released in 2009, barely lasting ~30 minutes total. It barely sold over 250 copies of the DVD. Considering that the first 500 copies to be pre-ordered came with bonuses such as figurines, discounts, and even shout-outs to those first 500 "lucky" enough to have pre-ordered, so it comes off as extra sad that almost no one pre-ordered the thing. But it`s incredibly easy to see why no one did, because owning a copy would be one of the most embarrassing things to have in your library, and that includes hentai.

And to make it more insulting, this was produced by PRODUCTION I.G. of all companies. These are the guys who released Ghost In The Shell: Stand Alone Complex, FLCL, The Sky Crawlers, and a lot more high quality stuff released both before and after the release of Abunai Sisters, which begs the question of how and why this was released. Did someone at the company lose a bet? Or did someone have get an injury to the head and accidentally approve this?

Unsurprisingly, only two episodes of this managed to make it to television. An for a while, those two episodes were the only thing you could get your hands on. At some point, all of the episodes were uploaded to various anime torrent sides. But for some bizarre reason, whoever uploaded them uploaded them with the characters voices pitched up, so the entire thing becomes un-listenable. There does exist a copy where the voices are normal though.

But enough about that, let`s just into the series.

When it comes to plot, there is no plot. It`s about two large breasted bimbos who happened to be some sort of secret agents and they both get into hijinks where the two bad guys, a woman with an oversized head and her lackey either try to kill them or steal their "Boobie Stones". Yes, you read that right, the "Boobie Stones".

The "Boobie Stones" keeps them young, as well as giving them "Boobie Powers", which save them from danger, and the bad guys want the power of the "Boobie Stones" for themselves. And that`s pretty much the entire joke. I can`t believe I read that, let alone had to type that out for this review.

And the rest of the series isn`t much better either.

The animation is awful. It barely reaches the PS1 era of CGI cutscene. Making the whole thing even weirder is that the animation is motion captured, which means that someone had to go out of there way to act out everything from this series in person. And now I`m just imagining footage and motion capture data out there on some hard drive somewhere in Production I.G., and a part of me wants to see it.

There is no Japanese dub as far as I can tell. You read that right, there is no Japanese dub, only the English dub. And this is one of the worst English dubs that I`ve heard for anything, with the voices being a mix of nails on a chalkboard, wailing cats, and a bad case of tinnitus. I would say that it makes me want to take a rusty knife to my eardrums if only to never have to hear this atrocious dub ever again, but it`s still going to haunt my nightmares.

What little music there is just as grating as the voice acting, with the theme painfully drilling itself into your brain every time you hear it, wishing you had some aspirin every time it appears.

There are so many other anime projects out there that should have got the time, money, and effort thrown at them instead of this. I would question why this was made in the first place, but I think I`ve found out the reason.

Abunai Sisters was created to promote tabloid celebrities Kyoko and Mika Kano. I had absolutely no idea who they were, so I had to look them up.

Apparently there is some controversy surrounding said sisters, since their lack of resemblance between them as well as their refusal to answer any questions about their age, which resulted in any reporting on their age to be entirely speculation, flamed rumors that they weren`t even sisters at all, but just another group of tarento (television personalities) with a gimmick.

There was even a third "sister" who initially made appearances with them, but apparently she withdrew from the public eye, and only makes the occasional appearance.

So if I had to guess, Abunai Sisters was made entirely as a promotional piece, and tying that to a studio was some prestige behind it like Production I.G., would help in promoting the Kano sisters. Apparently there few a few other controversies with the sisters throughout the years too, but I`ll leave that for another day, this tangent is long enough.

You might think this might be good to laugh at while with friends while trying to have a drunk night of fun watching something bad to laugh at, but it isn`t worth it. There are plenty of so-bad-it`s-good anime out there like Garzey`s Wing or the ADV dub of Ghost Stories. But if you`re a masochist, there are copies floating out there.

If you`re curious, I recommend reading the story of how this got made and the people that this is based on rather than watching the anime itself. It`s a far more interesting story.

Pony Canyon has a track record of putting out some of the best anime I’ve ever had the luxury of viewing, such as Shugo Chara.

Abunai Sisters is no exception. I was captivated from the time I saw the masterpiece intro.

-Story- (10/10)

I had to try really hard not to spoil things for myself by looking up the story online. At the end of every episode I felt a strong urge to immediately move on to the next episode because I had to know when the next thing was going to happen. Were they going to lose possession of the booby stone?! I have ... to know!

Death Note doesn’t have anything on this. The pacing was flawless. There wasn’t any point where I felt the show dragging on. There wasn’t even any filler, every second of each episode was contributing to the masterpiece story.

The story is like not there. Doesn’t have any cliches or tropes. You wouldn’t be able to predict what happens next.


-Art- (10/10)

Might as well have been produced by Picasso himself. The animation was so fluid every little movement felt real. The art itself would have fooled me into believing I was watching a live action film.


-Sound- (10/10)

The music was top notch. Hans Zimmer has nothing on these musical masterpieces. I still have the opening theme stuck in my head, even months after finishing the anime. Not to mention the music that plays during the combat scenes really have you glued to the edge of your seat.


-Character- (10/10)

The characters felt so real. They were extremely relatable characters. When they were sad, I wanted to cry. Not even the side characters felt robotic, they did a fantastic job giving them all very believable personalities.

-Enjoyment- (10/10)

I was really disappointed that the anime only has 10 episodes. Nothing I’ve watched since has even come close to this anime. I’m still rooting for a second season.

-Overall- (1/10)

Despite all of these commendations, there is still one flaw that easily drops this anime right back to a one..

The main characters did not have big enough breasts. It just took away from the realism.

Move aside Attack on Titan, get lost Haikyuu, make way for Production IG's greatest ever release: Abunai Sisters.

I was sifting for gold within the darkest reaches of MAL, only to unearth what is potential the biggest diamond I've ever seen. Abunai is one of anime's biggest shows that champions for women's rights, and now I can say for sure that I can proudly wave the flag of feminism.

This piece of wonderful literature was released at what is the start of humanity's most important points in time, that being the huge influx of support and drive for securing equality for men and women. 2009 was the ... time that women began to exercise their voices online, on platforms such as Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. No longer will the glass ceiling hold women down. No longer will men sit at the top of society and control women's bodies. Why? Because of Abunai Sisters.

The characters of Koko and Miko are the portrayal of female beauty, the ideal body types that women as a collective can agree to. Say no to anorexic super models, we have arrived in curvy town and the population is sexy. Every episode is dedicated to a different type of issue women face, like the wage gap, disparity in the number of female CEOs, abortion rights, wanting to kill all men. Name an issue women face in today's society and I can guarantee you that Abunai Sisters has covered said issue.

To represent the evil men women have to deal with in the world, we have Matsumoto. Thanks to his accurate portrayal of modern men, I have now been reborn. Since finishing this show, I have been deep in thought, meditating for days on end, to figure out what I need to repent for as a straight white male. Now that I have done that, I can guarantee that I will fight arm in arm with feminist groups all around the world to fight against inequality and hatred. I hate Matsumoto with pure passion, but don't let that hatred blind you, otherwise you'll miss the messages and hints the creators try to portray.

Watching this show is a fantastic experience, it really shines a light on what issues women (and minorities) experience in a sexist world that is ruled by multi-billion dollar oligarchs and systems that are put into place for men to take advantage and succeed over women. I'll go as far as to make DVD copies for anyone who wants to watch this gem of a show.

Together, we shall make the world equal once and for all. Watch this show, as 20-30 years down the line, Abunai Sisters will be viewed as one of our most important pieces of literature ever made.

Abunai Sisters is powerful. I legitimately did not know how to rate this show, so I used random dot org. It told me to give this show a 2, so I gave it a two. Watch this show.

Watched All 10 epiosdes in eng dub.

This anime which may have been a cartoon (depending which country made it). This should have stayed buried. I recall the time it was so rare to find all episodes that the dvd was going for 100s on ebay. Whether it sold i don't know.... i do remember alot of people wanted it or at least asked about it.

This show had one thing going for it their two bimbo girls. Everything else was a joke. All characters shared the fact that they love helium intakes. Which tempted me quite a ... bit to turn down the volume or mute it but that would ruin the experience in my opinion. Yes, i understand it is a cartoon or what have you but if you say meatball then you can not say PING PONG BALL! with out ANY CHANGE WHAT SO EVER TO IT OTHER THAN YOUR DEGREE! no, it is not a magical meatball. The only thing that i thought was realistic was when during one of the early episodes when their ammo depletes. So often in movies i question the fact really? your telling me you were packing that much? how? where? not in that tiny gun for sure. However, even that too can be seen as fiction in the last episode.

Oh yeah... the conclusion of the show(very little in terms of spoilers). What the FUCK!? then again i should have suspected that seeing how there was no basic intro.

maybe it was just me but after the first episode or two i found my self going off the unknown intro theme lyrics and stuck with "DIE! DIE! DIE!" for i felt that best served it.

It is clear this anime was a cruel tease by the artists. Not happy at all. Be Lucky that i considered a lot of things and did not go straight to 1 out of 10.

Today, November 16th 2020 I came to know about Abunai Sisters and being the way I am I just had to watch it, add it to my list and write about it. What I’m doing here is completely pointless because nobody in their right mind would bother to watch it or talk about it and thus nobody will read this. Newer viewers wouldn’t bother with it mainly because they wouldn’t know about it and also because it’s old by now.

As for the rest, they wouldn’t bother with it because a look at the poster, the score and the synopsis is enough to tell you that ... it’s not worth watching, even those like me who ocassionaly like to torture themselves and check out some of the worst anime of all times wouldn’t normally bother with it because it’s not as infamous as other titles such as Mars of Destruction, Skelter Heaven, MD Geist, Pupa and the likes.

But even if it’s pointless I’m writing this because I can and because I wanted to write a review for quite some time. And hey, if at least one person read this, then it was worth it.

With that said, there’s really nothing much to say about it, one look at the poster and the synopsis and you get the deal, two female agents who somehow are also celebrities protect some crystal from the villain from Spirited Away and her companion, a pervy version of Mr. Incredible’s boss. No really, the bad guys look like them.

Here’s where the first problem arise, how can secret agents be celebrities at the same time? Shouldn’t they be discrete? Well I guess being famous could be a facade, who would suspect of two famous women to be secret agents? Even then they sure don’t seem to be secret agents, as all they do in the show has more to do with their celebrity life rather than their work as secret agents. The series don’t tell you anything about what is this agency their work for, which is their rank there and what do they do there, heck, it doesn’t even appear.

You won’t even know who their enemies are and why do they want the “booby stone” as they call it, ok it is mentioned in the show that said stone brings eternal beauty or something but it sure doesn’t look like it when you watch the series.

You won’t even know why are these sisters celebrities, as all they do is goof around in their big mansion, located in some private tropical island with the worst security of all times as it allows the bad guys to appear and reappear every single time. They never sing, or dance, or do anything really. No personality nor backgrounds at all.

And of course, nothing in the series makes sense as the sisters have booby powers which allows them to increase their sizes and attack with them, while also have a booby alarm as they call it, which usually works, warning them about danger, but sometimes it doesn’t for plot convenience. Not story at all either.

But look at me, talking seriously about a show which clearly does not require to do so as is just a silly comedy, I am just as ridiculous as the series itself. Well, even if I am to judge the show that way, it is also terrible on that level, as the jokes consist in repeating the exact same formula in each one of the 10 episodes, the sisters are just chilling around, the bad guys appear with bad disguises and try to take the stone, the booby alarm sounds and make the sisters’ breasts bounce like crazy and they stop the bad guys with their own gadgets, the end.

There was an instance where, although the formula and the result were the same, they did it by playing volleyball which was fine for a change, until they ruined even this by doing the exact same thing in the exact next episode, only with ping pong, thank you so much show, for ruining even the tiniest variety you had.

If I am to compare this with episodic cartoons which repeat the same formula from…just about any era, even them have more variety with how their formulas play out in each episode. Heck, there’s not even a reason to compare it to cartoons, there’s Pucca, which began as a 2 minute per episode webseries, meaning, it has shorter episodes than this, and even that one has more variety than this.

The jokes themselves, apart from the nonsensical situations, have to do with an attemtp to make fun of celebrities’ life and first world problems, but it’s so explicit about it to the point of telling you the joke directly while the character saying it looks at the screen, it’s not subtle at all, thus is not funny at all, thus it fails as a parody.

I can’t even recognize the ecchi in the show as unique or creative, as we’ve seen boobs making crazier things and being even more deformed in anime, both before and after, even the likes of Valkyirie Drive: Mermaid, Manyuu Kikenchou, Seikon no Qwaser, Queen’s Blade, Eiken and just about any ecchi you either know or don’t know about is way better than this at least on that level and you are more excused to watch them than Abunai Sisters.

The sisters themselves are based after two real japanese sisters who are apparently models by the way, and thankfully they don’t look anything like their counterparts in the show. I don’t know what’s the deal with those sisters and if they were at the peak of their popularity in 2009 when this came out to excuse its existence but this show surely doesn’t work even as a promotional material, it makes them look stupid, superficial, and just plain ugly. We’re talking about Charlie’s Angel videogame for PSX levels of bad publicity here, if not even worse.

As for the production values, what’s there to say? They are atrocious on every aspect but if you are cursed enough to be reading this, don’t make the mistake of thinking that this is the worst CGI of all time. There are worse looking cartoons and videogames as well as there are worse looking anime, such as Urda and Digimon X-Evolution. Even then, those products are excused for coming out way earlier than this series and Urda was even made by a bunch of unprofessional noobs, while Abunai Sisters came out in freaking 2009 and was made by such a big studio like Production I.G, which made visual masterpieces both before and after this monstruosity. There just isn’t any show by them that looks as bad as this.

The sound is even worse, as there is barely music which is forgettable at best, and the sound effects are old and weak by 2009 standards. But the worst aspect is the voices, apparently there is a version with normal voices, but no, in the only one avalaible online they sound like Alvin and the Chipmunks, the fact that is english dub only makes it even worse because there are no subtitles to help you understand what is it that they are supposed to be saying.

Ultimately, being a Production I.G work is the definitive factor that makes Abunai Sisters so bad and so disappointing, if it was made earlier and by a worse studio, I would give it even a 2 out of 10. No really, once you watched so much bad stuff as I did you appreciate that, as a parodical comedy, this atrocity at least does not try to take itself seriously in the slightest, unlike things like Mars of Destruction, Skelter Heaven, Roots Search X, MD Geist, Midori, Pupa, Ousama Game, Evil or Live, Dies Irae, Hand Shakers or the most recent Kyouchuu Rettou or Gibiate (among lots of other examples), which try to be either serious, or dramatic, or deep, or epic, or horror and they all fail terribly at it. Nor does it insult a good and popular IP, as Souten no Ken does with Hokuto no Ken.

Even if I am to compare it with another “comedy” is at least better than Twinkle Nora Rock me for making slightly more sense and for having actual animation.

Thus Abunai Sisters is better than all of them for not even trying, but even then it does not deserve more than the lowest score from me for how badly made it is and for how much better stuff there is, it makes even the Charlie’s Angels PSX game look bad (and not terrible), it makes the Charlie’s Angels movies seem passable because the action has more stakes, way better battle choreography and gorgeous women, it makes the Totally Spies! cartoon series seem passable for having better comedy and more explored characters, then there are the ecchi shows which I already mentioned that are simply far more appealing than this.

Heck, even if I try to think in the people with the craziest and the weirdest of fetishes, there is a lot of stuff such as inflation in certain websites which makes this look tame, thus Abunai Sisters does not have any value even for them and excuses my score. (If you are not one of them and you don’t know what that is then good for you, now pay attention to a warning like this for once in your life and don’t google it, seriously, I wish I was as lucky).

Abunai Sisters gave me an aneurysm. The level of obnoxious drains the life out of you. Every time the intro shrieks the name of the series, I can only look down in shame. Shame that I actually think its catchy.

This series made me question my existence.

Koko and Mika are some of the most dreadfully scripted entities in all of media. Both in plot and in voice acting, everything they do is a cringe-worthy imitation of the secret agent diva trope. In reality they are more like poorly animated porn stars. Except porn stars actually are better actors, with more believable stories, than Koko and Mika.

The ... central object of power, The Booby Stone, is not even explained. It's like they ripped the diamond from Pink Panther and gave it a shitty name. There is no point to the stone, there is no point to the story.

There is no point in watching Abunai Sisters.

I only watched this out of sheer curiosity when I found it under "found media" on the lost media wikia. While most lost media goes missing because it sucks, sometimes there's an exception to the rule and you unearth a hidden gem. Abunai Sisters is not one of those exceptions.

There is not a single likable character in the entire series. You have 2 annoying and self-absorbed celebrities who only talk about their boobs and how it's "so hard" being a celebrity, an annoying creepy dude who pretty much represents anyone who would unironically like this garbage show, and a straight up ripoff of Yubaba ... from Spirited Away.

There is no "story" and the characters are all horrendously ugly. They look like characters you'd see in a budget shovelware title for the wii. It's even worse when you consider the fact that they thought anyone would find this attractive in the slightest.

Do NOT watch this. Avoid at all costs. It's not even funny in the so bad it's good way, it's just awful.

When I started watching this I had low expectations, but wow, it went above and beyond of what was expected and acomplished much more.
30 seconds in I wanted to shoot myself
6 minutes in I wanted to shoot everyone I knew so that they could never have to lay their eyes upon this, this.... this thing.
11 minutes watching and I whished to commit mass genocide.
22 minutes, God does not exist, the only reason we exist is to suffer and feel pain.
I have finally finished watching it, and i can safely say that it was the longest 30 minutes of my life, I now need to expell ... my eyes from their sockets, drown the eyes (and myself) in bleach, keep them in an air tight bag for 5 years until it is safe to see once again.

When my friends and I get bored while video calling, we look for the worst rated series in MAL in hopes of laughing at the sheer awfulness of some works. One evening (at 1 or 2AM) we came across Abunai Sisters and I really wish we hadn't.

This series is unbelievably bad to such a degree that it caused me physical malaise. The high-pitched voices, the bright colors, the annoying characters, the 3min plots... I became nauseous watching this, it felt like a horrible fever dream.

Do not watch this, it's not even worth it for the fun of it. There's no fun to be had... Definitely ... one of the worst things I've ever seen.

The plot points were generally upfront and obvious, like the joke I just made. I'd try to be more sarcastic but this was pretty crap; it doesn't warrant the effort. Everything was bad. Art, animation, character development, etc. It was just all around bad. It even lacks the "So Bad It's Good" vibe. Apparently this review is too short so I'll stretch it out a bit.

The lip syncing was completely off. The character designs were pretty ridiculous. The one positive is the part were one of them uses a special butt attack probably inspired Keijo!!!! somehow, maybe. Also, the volleyball probably inspired Haikyu!, possibly. ...

I would recommend watching it because at least then you can say "Hey I watched Abunai Sisters" and be one of the unfortunate bastards, like so many others, who took the punt and were punished accordingly. Like a badge of shamefaced honour.
