This is one of those animes you love or hate, it's from another era and is best recommended to people who are easily pleased.

Pro's
-Great voice acting
-Awesome character designs
-Great animation
-Giant robots
-The look and feel of Dangaio's world tugs at your curiosity

Cons
-Story is weak
-Universe isn't fleshed out
-You don't really learn anything about the characters
-Dangaio art, world and characters had lots of unrealized potential

Story: The story is pretty weak compare to the other anime I've seen. Toshihiro Hirano is not a good story maker. The weak point in the story is that Dangaioh failed to answer the question of when, why, and how. The four psychic protagonists were kidnapped by Tarsan and were nearly brainwashed into becoming psychic soldiers to be used by the Bankers. Dangaioh failed miserably to answer the question, how were the protagonists kidnapped, where exactly were the protagonists kidnapped, and specially how were their memories nearly erased. The Banker characters need to be explained more. We viewers read more
