Dr. Stone: Stone Wars

Senkuu has made it his goal to bring back two million years of human achievement and revive the entirety of those turned to statues. However, one man stands in his way: Tsukasa Shishiou, who believes that only the fittest of those petrified should be revived.

As the snow melts and spring approaches, Senkuu and his allies in Ishigami Village finish the preparations for their attack on the Tsukasa Empire. With a reinvented cell phone model now at their disposal, the Kingdom of Science is ready to launch its newest scheme to recruit the sizable numbers of Tsukasa's army to their side. However, it is a race against time; for every day the Kingdom of Science spends perfecting their inventions, the empire rapidly grows in number.

Reuniting with old friends and gaining new allies, Senkuu and the Kingdom of Science must stop Tsukasa's forces in order to fulfill their goal of restoring humanity and all its creations. With the two sides each in pursuit of their ideal world, the Stone Wars have now begun!

This franchise is something else. Let me start with that. It's not even like it didn't continue it's flow from season one either. Dr. Stone: Stone Wars focuses on the preparation phase for the big brawl and if I said I was prepared for how the season ended I would have a nose as big as Pinocchio.

This season certainly moved at a much faster pace then the first but all the goods were still present. There was no lack of intelligence to be seen in this season. Although to be fair if that went away it wouldn't be what it is. The situational comedy ... is also still very present even if things are a little more sped up the season because time is working against the nation if science.

I enjoyed watching the makeshift nation of science come together for a lack of a better word this season and not just because they had too in the end. There are little shifts sprinkled all along the first 8 or so episodes. Some turn in stronger then others but that's normal in any social situation. It was nice to see the camaraderie.

Characters in the show are coming along nicely also. Sure the show doesn't focus primarily on development specific but I would be lying if I said there was zero. Chrome stands out to me the most and he kind of got a true moment in the spotlight this season. I think it was great for him. Personally for me I found him really annoying the first few episodes of season one he was in. From then on he just existed as a Senkuu "light" with a different type of snark to him. By the end of this season I got some respect for that boy

This season was just as much enjoyable as the first for everything it continues to bring to the screen. Season 2 did have a few things come about that I didn't see coming, not just the ending shocker that I referenced in the beginning.

I totally recommend this to anyone looking for a good time as long as you like the situational humor aspect and don't mind getting some science knowledge bombs thrown at you. There are a lot of good characters that fill their roles nicely to make this one be pretty solid

If you have made it this far you know what the show is all about. I think there was a bit of a decline of the show with this season, but its all still watchable junk food. I think this show was a bit of an improvement as the worst 2 charecters: Yuzuriha and Taiju (the worst charecters) are not as much as a focus as much as they were in the beginning of season 1. With the focus change and the lore established the show has a bit of breathing room for its shenanigans. The show is a bit better, but if you couldnt ... get through the first season then you wont get through this one. `````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````

I must say this anime is not bad. But I'm little bit disapointed... I can't say that the anime is boring but it's only entertaining. I really like the first season and the second seemed to be good as well. So I'll say what's wrong with this anime.

It keeps repeating in many alternation 2 things:
1) Science is the best and deal with it!
2) Killing people and dying people is unacceptable!

Those two messages are not correct. It's too optimistic and science can't do anything. I must also say that there that this anime is quite original as UTOPIA. There is no way that someone could die ... or Senku would did something that he would really regret because he miscounted and wasn't lucky...

The characters are good but they are fairytale-like - even if someone si bad and evil he has his reason and actually he has a good heart. I don't like this kind of characters because they are not real - they are flat. I miss that the good ones have almost no flaws and the "evil" ones are so bad and in the end they will correct themselves and everyone will be happy after that. It misses the whole point of being happy or being sad. You're happy because you felt so much pain and also did so many mistakes that teach you a great lesson. But then something wonderful happened... People in real life mostly envy from each other and sometimes are selfish and proud because of their ego. But here? Everybody is so good and has no big flaws... I love depth of characters and all colours but this anime has only colours of an rainbow.

Soundtrack - I don't remember much music in it and OP & EN haven't striked my attention. First season has an epic OP.

Overall: It is a good UTOPIA - everything will eventually turn out nice and everybody somehow find the right way... Science is the best and killing is bad! That's what it is. Science is logical and it's not made up. Senku is clever and does a good job. The episodes are fast paced and you won't get bored. Also animation is nice. But at least for me, this is not enough for a good anime... I think it could be better, there haven't been made any progress from season 1 and now, this is only half of season 2.
