Go! Princess Precure

Ever since she was young, Haruka Haruno has always aspired to become a princess. Despite being mocked for this seemingly childish wish, Haruka perseveres to make her dream a reality, ultimately culminating in her acceptance into the prestigious Noble Academy—the birthplace of people's fantasies.

When Haruka arrives at her new school, a chance encounter with a pair of magical creatures influences a series of unbelievable events, and Haruka awakens as "Cure Flora," the princess of blooming flowers. After two of Haruka's classmates also transform into legendary princesses, a story of self-discovery unfolds as the newfound team "Princess Precure" carries the responsibility of protecting everyone's dreams. Engaged in a battle between hope and despair, Haruka may find the key toward becoming the princess she has always dreamed to be.

Now Go Princess Pretty Cure , this is a giant improvement on Past Precure seasons like Doki Doki or Happiness Charge Precure! , the Cures are great , the Princess designs are good too , and the animation is as ever beautiful as the Cures themselves, and the villains are not too bad either, my only problems are thanks to this show low toy sales future Precure seasons got less violent , bummer , so Go! princess Precure is a must watch in my opinion , plus Frozen was the reason this show exists , I also like how this show style is ... so stylish too , the ending made me want more , season 2 when Toei ?

Mixed Feelings

Well, now that I'm catching up again with this franchise, the only thing left to say is that each season I watch is a recycling of previous ones, but well, that's beside the point and I don't want to emphasize this since everyone will know where they take their opinions from. "references"

At first I wanted to give it a rating of 6 but for one reason I preferred not to since it is that case in which the plot does not catch you and does not stand out but it entertains you (for those who have seen several seasons will know what I am talking ... about.

Go! Princess Precure in summary tells the story of 4 girls who protect the dreams of the people around them. To tell the truth, the story may captivate you (in my case) but because it is an anime focused on children, it cannot develop a good plot and I think that is a weak point for the entire franchise

Finally, if I give this rating it was because the last chapters tried to develop and give emphasis to a problem that is present in our daily lives, which is "what I want to do in the future", developing a little more the maturity of each girl.

Well, to say that I recommend it to you, do it if you just want to make your list of anime bigger and if you are one of those who watches animes for their well-developed story and with adult touches, then it is better to pass by because this is not for you.

Preliminary (17/50 eps)

Go Princess Precure, A.K.A. the (mostly) well-animated "story" (even if there's no actual plot of any kind here, but whatever) of boring Mary Sues (the three main cures, all geniuses with genius parents who destroy all the opposition by flinching an eye) raised to the square doing fights recycled from the Kamen Rider and Super Sentais in a long line of Mary Sues from the very first Pretty Cure Series (I'm talking about the already perfect in all regards Honoka and Nagisa, of course) doing the same stuff. Boring Mary Sues that are all the contrary of the philosophy of deconstructing Shoujo Mary Sues to ... make them relatable to the public Toei animation expressed from the very first Majokko ever put on screen (Mahou Tsukai Sally) to the unsung and extremely underrated Ojamajo Doremi, akin to the change of heart Disney expresses through their unneeded, unnecessary Live Action, modern-era tailored renditions of their Classic with a Capital C animated movies. What happened, exactly? it is because of the success of the highly-overrated and equally boring Kamen Rider Kuuga - which had a similarly boring, irritating and nonsensically (nonsensically because there was no point whatsoever behind him, unlike the one present in Avataro Sentai Donbrothers) Gary Stu as a protagonist - that Toei decided to take this path? or it is because somebody suddently became enamored with the Usagi Tsukino and Sailor Venus as depicted in the terrible SM manga? I sincerely don't understand it. Check this series (and, I guess, the Pretty Cure franchise on the whole) only if you have a specific case of hard on for Mary Sues being as powerful and as unstoppable as it can get while (again, mostly) crystal clear animation and catchy OST in the background try to cover up for the atrocious writing on display, if you're not that kind of person chances are you're going to be bored to death like it happened with me.
