I see. It makes sense to me. And don't worry about lengthy replies haha. I've made replies before that were like 5 times longer than that lol. But anyway, if you're curious about my response to my own question, I tend to go with whichever version most people say is better, which, for the most part, tends to be the source material. I'm also more of a manga person to begin with so that plays a major factor in deciding whether I'll watch the anime or read the manga. But of course, if I read the manga first and really like it, I'll most likely watch its anime adaptation. However, the opposite usually isn't always true. If I watch the anime first and really like it, the chances of me reading its manga are low. It's kinda ironic if you think about it but I think it's just that I like going through the source material first and seeing how it was adapted afterward; it's more fun that way and the majority of the time if I really like the anime, I usually can't make myself go through its source material because I'm already too familiar with the story and characters. So my point is that generally speaking I choose the manga version and go with that first. Again, usually, not always.

And Made in Abyss is another series I've been buying the volumes for (up to volume 4 right now in the official English releases by Seven Seas) but haven't actually started. Of course, me being me, I'll read the manga first then watch its anime. And there are plenty of other series I've bought the volumes for but haven't actually started, but I know I'm going to like it because of all the things I already know about it and there are lots of things that I find appealing to me.

I'm sure I will! :D

And something I wanted to ask you since you've completed many manga series. How do you go about a series where you plan to watch its anime and read its manga? Do you tend to watch first then check out its source material or the other way around or are their factors that determine which version you'll go with?

Oh I definitely plan on getting into Houseki no Kuni at some point. And for Monogatari, because it's super arc heavy, I tend to be on and off with it which I actually like since when you add up all of the arcs, it can be considered a long series and sometimes hard to go through all of it in a short amount of time. Thus, I am on and off with it and that works for me.

Greetings MissMisu, I recently gave you an invite to a seasonal club called the Anime Guild.
But I do also like to interact with the people I'm looking to bring into the club.
The club consists of a lot of different seasonal activities from Power Rankings to OP/ED Comps to Seasonal Cards.
*If the invite doesn't go through just message me about it*
Hopefully you find something to fill in the gap of HxH, the great thing is with seasonals is you always get new options every 3 months ^.^.

Oh I've seen some stuff from Zombieland Saga and it looks like a pretty entertaining and over-the-top show. And I plan on watching Houseki no Kuni at some point. Have you seen its anime? If so, what did you think of it?

And for me, I've been mostly investing my time into Kuroshitsuji. I'm really loving the manga so far and since I've read up to where the anime adapted I'm gonna start watching those, too. I'll probably put Kuroshitsuji as a whole on a short break and continue with some other series I wanted to finish/get caught up to such as the Monogatari Series (especially the light novels), Ao no Exorcist manga, One Piece manga, Bungou Stray Dogs anime, and Boku no Hero Academia anime.

Hey thanks for the Friend Request, Nice to meet you!

Ill probably try again eventually just because it's such a respected series I'd like to see it.
Omnivision Oct 13, 2018 5:49 PM
Oh I see. Well, it's all good so don't worry about it. I just like getting to know people a bit before accepting them and chatting with them every so often after becoming friends.

So, have you been watching or reading anything lately that you're really liking so far?

About that Hunter x Hunter could always watch the rest of the franchise!

I watched the entire franchise (241 episodes and 2 movies) in about a month and am currently rewatching the remake, this time dubbed. But only 114 episodes are dubbed, so that'll take longer. It took me two weeks to watch it the first time. One of my friends somehow watched it in three days!
You'd probably like many of the anime on my favorites list too.
