When they threw out all sense of logic with R2 it was obvious that they would plunder the franchise for all its worth, story be damned. (yes some of us watch anime for the stories!!!)

Its also painfully obvious no one ever really dies in the Geass universe thanks to R2's retardation. God I hate that season so much, what a waste of my precious time! I'm wasting more time hating on it now, oh God I want to cry. >_<

I'll probably be judging it by rather harsh standards if a third Geass anime does come out. By episode 19 or so of R2, I was pretty much watching only because it was near the end rather than wanting to find out what happens next.

McDonalds' was jealous of PizzaHut so they signed a contract with Sunrise about a new series of Code Geass. This time, the main character will be Ronald, who forces all the children to eat double sized BigMacs, with his geass. Also it will be revealed that Ronald loves playing Go, although he can't. Ronald will lead the rebel army against King Burger who keeps the world on a healthy diet. And thus an epic story begins about a clown, who brought obesity to the world...

This better be something like Mai Otome.
Yeah, a whole Code Geass for the sake of fanservice would actually be great.

I am genuinely surprised by the hate for R2, I feel a bit better now. Still doesnt explain why R2 is currently #2 in the Top TV Series on MAL though. ¬_¬

I'd only watch more Geass if a quality writer/director combo were working on it, but even then I'd be wary. The entire concept has been used up and shat on, what else can you do with the franchise? You can set it in another country or another time, it'll still rehash what we've seen before: fanservice-ish dude with a high IQ, attains mystical power and tries to take over the world with armies at his disposal. Boring. Dont give a shit anymore.

Unless the entire world is peaceful and happy already and the guy with the power is a real sicko and the show ends with him turning the planet into a pile of crap, and the last shot is of him by himself in an apocalyptic setting, looking at the camera with a twinkle in his eye and grunting in achievement. I'd watch that.

Perhaps they finally found some person to actually write a comprehensible story this time?

If they change character designs to some studio other than CLAMP, I doubt it would hurt.

Or if all that fails, fill it with QUALITY art, lolz so randum xD plot, fanservice, pizza and I'm sure many people will be going 'OMG SO EPIC' again, regardless of its content.

actually, if they can come up with something decent (preferably NOT involving Lelouch except at being a cameo...) I might watch it. If they stretched it too much (like they did in R2) I might still watch it... because I LOLed so much during R2 with the far-fetched plot development....

Actually I gave a 9 to R2 just because I have never seen an anime as far-fetched as it...

I have mixed feelings about this.
If this is a sequel just for the sake of the the money with them reviving a finished storyline like they did with Destiny... NO

If this a sequel with new characters, a different storyline in the same universe ...definitely YES.

I would love to see a parallel storyline with different characters. It would be interesting for example seeing all this on the EU point of view, there was barely any development of that faction.

There are also lots of question left unanswered like C.C true name and the origin of the geass

There is also the possibility of making a remake of R2 as for what I heard there were a lot of problems in it's production and they had to change some important aspects of the storyline

Dunno why there is so much R2 hate, I found it pretty enjoyable

I still haven't watched beyond EP8 of R2. After getting so hyped due to my love of S1, it was like a kick in the balls to see R2 destroy the credibility and believability of the story with waaaay too much fan service and an endless amount of retarded, unexplained plot twists. Every post episode discussion involved me arguing with all the other fans, all of them being perfectly happy with the quality of R2.

In short, there's no chance of me watching another attempt at killing my love for S1 of Geass.

Good news ^_^
I'd love to see Lelouch once again, but even if the sequel has completely different characters, I'll give it a try.
But at the same time, I think the story of Code Geass is finished in the right way, and any continuations would be unnatural.
I hope that the sequel, if it's ever released, won't be an epic fail.

It's gonna be crap. If you end something, the ending is most likely always good. You can't make something better than that for the THIRD TIME.

all of you that complain will still probably watch it. I miss Geass and would gladly watch it even with some of the lack of logic in season 2. though I hope things would make more sense. most people should of seen this coming, even with the ending it was obvious if it was succesful, they'd want more.
