SynopsisHe had thought his normal days would last forever, until they were ended abruptly by an encounter with a girl with red hair and eyes. He named her Shana.
Not long after he enters high school, Sakai Yuji’s normal days come to an end. He sees something bizarre on his way home: people are frozen in a strange fire, and a monster that looks like a large doll is attacking them. Just when he's about to be killed, a girl in a dark cloak wielding a large sword appears, and slices the monster in half. Although Yuji survives the strange encounter, the girl informs him of a desolate truth: " 'You' don't exist anymore."
She calls herself a Flame Haze who hunts "Guze no Tomogara"; intruders from another world. She explains to him that he is a "Torch", a substitute of Yuji whose “existence” has already been devoured. She also told him that he is a special Torch, "Mystes", which contains a precious item in it. When he looks at his chest, he sees within himself a faint flame, just as she said.
It is in this way that his eternal struggle alongside the girl begins.

"You are not a human. You are an object."
If you were told the above, what would your reaction be? Sakai Yuji, the male protagonist of Shakugan no Shana, was thrown precisely into this chaotic situation one day while walking home from school. At the same time, viewers were introduced to the main theme of the anime. What if no one will ever remember your existence in this world. Being dead is one thing, but if everything about you will be erased from this world when you die (that includes people's memory of you), the thought alone could be terrifying to many.
While at first glance Shakugan no Shana may seem like just another anime with the protagonist being thrown into a world he never thought existed. It really make itself standout from the rest if for no other reason than the spectacular introduction to the theme of the story. The story develop itself rather slowly midway through the series as the viewers were taken back in time for some background learning that lead us to understand certain characters better (more on that in the character section). Overall there was no rush to the story as events unfold themselves in a very elegant and comprehensive manner.
It should, however, be noted that since this is just an introductory season to the Shana saga (there is a season 2 to Shakugan no Shana and there will most likely be more in the future), not a lot of questions were answered ... but many were raised and leave people in confusion at the end.
Though it can't be considered a masterpiece in animation, it is in fact still pretty top notch, especially the battle effects (flames for example, were animated in great detail and looked very awesome). If there's anything to complain about, it would be the over-sized eyes on most characters. But once that's accepted, everything else about the animation should not hurt your eyes.
While the OP were very catchy, I didn't quite like the ED much (personal taste). Sound tracks were great as they match well with the intended scenes, some can even help drive your emotion a bit. In addition, the seiyu are quite famous:
Shana voiced by Rie Kugimiya whose famous for her role in Full Metal Alchemist as Alphonse Elric, Nena Trinity in Gundam 00, and Louise Françoise in Zero no Tsukaima. Kazumi Yoshida voiced by Ayako Kawasumi who voiced in Fate/stay night as Saber, Kanokon as Chizuru Minamoto, and Otoha Sakurano in Sky Girls.
Shakugan no Shana also stars Hitomi Nabatame, Shizuka Itou, Mamiko Noto, and many many more talented voice actors/actresses.
Characters are what make this anime shine like a star. Due to the "non-rushing" nature of the show, each character (even the supporting casts) present their own background history and overtime we get to know their personality more and their "behind thoughts". This result in a very real and believable group of fantastically designed characters (both in terms of the "realism" and the "looks"). Definitely not something you see often in anime these days. The drawback is that some viewers may find it boring or made the stalled the story development.
While not quite a masterpiece level anime, Shakugan no Shana is still a show that is very successful in every single aspect. Personally, this show started out quite a bit like Busou Renkin and Bleach (while others say it is similar to Fate/stay night), but it ultimately delivered a much stronger impression on me than the ones mentioned. read more

Okay, for my first ever review, I thought I'd review one of my all time favourites, Shakugan no Shana.
Before I start, let me say that this anime is not everyone's cup of tea. Some people love it, some hate it and some are in between. As for me, I love it to bits so if my review seems a bit biased, I apologise right off the bat.
First off, the storyline, I'm sure there are a few anime out there featuring parallel worlds or dimensions but I really enjoyed the way it's portrayed in this anime. The main reason for this being that, with such a grim and mature-ish beginning to the anime that gave it such a depth to storyline, the anime does also get lighter by mixing it with some other elements as well and I enjoy these lighter moments as much as the more intense parts of the anime. And mind you, this anime does seem to make the world around the main protagonist, Yuji, to seem hopeless at the start but it grows to become more light-hearted while still maintaining its original premise.
The artwork is rather good in my honest opinion. The characters are reasonably well drawn, although they are of the large-eyed variety as seen in many anime, they are still pretty decent to look at. In my opinion, the artwork shines the most during the fight scenes. The fight scenes never seem to leave you disoriented since it is laid out in such a way that makes it simple and yet, an enjoyment to watch.
For the sound of the anime, I have found nothing I am particularly unhappy about when it comes to the overall sound of the anime. Basically, everything sounds alright, with no flaws or anything that I have found. The voice acting was also pretty decent, and I know some people would beg to differ right here but I liked the way that Rie Kugimiya voiced Shana to be very child-like to mirror Shana's original age and her true child-like self. I did also really enjoy the opening and ending themes of the series. The animations during these are pretty decent as well.
Now for my favourite part, the characters. The characters really do grow on you in this anime. They also really do have some growth, even the less important ones do have some development to a certain degree. The most of development however must happen to the main characters and this series does not disappoint. First off, the main male protagonist, Yuji Sakai, there is a good deal of development especially at the early stages of the series when he is thrust headlong into a reality that seems so hopeless for him, and yet, he grows to understand and accept his situation. Second, there's Shana, the main female protagonist. Being a tsundere(wiki it if you're wondering what this means) character, she does have a lot of development as a character in the story throughout the series as she grows less cold toward Yuji, as she originally viewed him as little more than an object, and instead begins to grow more fond of him and these feelings really confuse her as she still has to maintain her duty as a Flame Haze.
Now for the enjoyment factor, I really did enjoy it. Especially in the later parts of the anime, the plot and the characters did leave me feeling more and more attached to the anime. Most of all, I enjoyed watching the development of Yuji and Shana's relationship together since it's not your typical boy likes girl, girl likes boy drama, it's a lot more complicated than it appears.
Overall, this is a great anime to watch with characters that begin to grow on you after a while. I definitely would recommend watching it. And it's also a must watch for any tsundere fan out there as well. read more

Both have Red-haired, tsundere characters who are the lead protagonists, accompanied by a brown-haired powerless male protagonist. Both of them are voiced by the same Voice Actors.
Zero no Tsukaima goes more fantastical, as it is a totally different world set in the medieval ages. ZnT features more of a school environment and a larger cast of side characters. It's also more detailed in expanding its magical universe so you really get a feel of the premise.
In sunmmary, Zero no Tsukaima has more of everything Shakugan no Shana has: Romance, School-life, Ecchi, Magic Rules and Universe, Better Soundtrack, More Side Characters. The only thing it doesn't have is Action, which can be a huge-turnoff, so prepare yourself to focus more on the above mentioned factors instead.
I hugely recommend anyone who loves tsundere romance fantasy to watch Zero no Tsukaima. You can't go wrong with one of the 4 Tsundere Wonders.
This is a must see once you see it you will see why
Similar protagonists, both voiced by the same seiyuu, Rie Kugimiya.
Shana = Louise, not just the same voice but exactly the same personality.
Awesome anime! The characters in general are one of the best parts of this anime.
These two are ALOT alike. Both have lolicon characters doing the main role, both fall in love but are too shy to talk about it and both have a bit idiotic guys they like :P
Louise -> Kugimiya Rie <- Shana
They are both Tsundere protagonist that are good at beating the crap out of their love interest and defeating some enemies, Louise blows them up while Shana cuts them down with a fiery sword. They also become jealous easily and are very much possessive of their love interests.
Saito -> Saoshi Hino <- Yuuji
Both are forced to adapt after being thrust to live in a different aspect of life, Saito was hurled in a new world, and Yuuji found out he was no longer alive and that he is just a replacement. They do their best to protect their love interest. Both are generally idiotic or dense and are easily attracted by other women which results in them being punished by their love interests. Saito receives more physical abuse, countless beatings with a whip from Louise. While Yuuji on the other hand receives a more verbal one, Shana's tendency to lash out urusai upon urusai.
Featuring Rie Kugimiya and Satoshi Hino in similar leading roles, Shakugan no Shana and Zero no Tsukaima tell the story of male high school students drawn into the unfamiliar and encountering flat-chested, ill-tempered girls. While both shows are produced by the same studio and based on a series of light novels, Zero is meant to be more fun and light-hearted compared to Shana.
Main character personalities are very much the same and the whole show has the same feel
Both are very similar.
Have the same synchro and the same character - qualities.
In these animes aim is to fight the evil ... whether with magic or a sword.
But the love is not too short and in both animes.
The anime also has what funny, the comedy is there, too.
louise = kugimiya rie = shana
tsundere protagonist that's good at beating the crap out of their love interest and defeating some enemies (louise blows them up while shana slices them down). they also have huge tendencies to become jealous and is very much possessive of their love interests.
saito = saoshi hino = yuuji
forced to adapt to change after being thrust to live in a different aspect of life (saito was hurled in a new world and yuuji found out he was dead). they do their best to protect their love interest. generally idiotic/dense and are easily attracted by other women which results in them being punished by their love interests (saito receives the whip while yuuji receive urusai)
Same seiyuus, same studio, same style.
I've never seen such a close comparison:
Shakugan no Shana
Talking amulet
Love between powerful girl and someone no longer human which whishes to become stronger.
Zero no Tsukaima
Talking sword
Love between powerful girl and someone no longer huma which wishes to become stronger.
Of course, Louise (main girl of ZnT) and Shana have the same seiyuu.
I think this is just the tip of the iceburg.
it's really similar....
for example
-the love triangle between 1 boy and two girls
-magic related anime
-the boy meets the magical girl then bacomes related to the girl
Characters are very similar. The voice actors are also the same.
These are very very similar.
shana and louise have the same voice actor and yuji and saito have the same voice actor too.
not only that, shana and louise has EXACTLY same personality and they fell in love with the main MALE character (aka yuji/saito) .
So if you like Shakugan no Shana, you would like Zero no Tsukaima. :D
Same voice actor and Louise and Shana got alot in common.
Shakugan no Shana is more action based.
I also recommend Zero no Tsukaima.
They're EXACTLY the same..
nd they both also have awsomeness.
Same Seiyuus for the main characters...
Saito and Louise have pretty much in common with Yuji and Shana.
Not only are there a lot of the similar cast, but also Louise and Shana both act alike. They both always go "shut up! shut up! shut up!". They also are very violent towards the guy they like (Saito and Yuugi) and they seem to be semi-oblivious about it (like you think they notice, and then they dont). It also both involves magic and fighting.
Both male & female character from Zero no Tsukaima and Shakugan no Shana have the same seiyuu..
Shana = Kugimiya Rie = Louise
Yuuji = Satoshi Hino = Saito
Both Shana and Louise are tsundere characters too... Shana likes Yuuji, and Louise likes Saito ...
If you want the romance + battle anime , watch both of them , you'll like it... Even though Shakugan no Shana has more battle, and Zero no Tsukaima has more romance...
Characters and feel of the show are shared between these two shows.
Some of the voice actor are the same... Shana and louise got the same Personality. Romance and other stuff....
both shows are fiction-based, and both contain protagonist that are female with flat chest, which is where the humor comes in. both are good show, but zero no tsukaima is funnier. on the negative side, both have shitty endings, but its they are still worth watching
Shana and Louise basically have the same personality. If you enjoyed Shana's cuteness, firey attitude, shyness, and her unawareness of the emotion called "love" you will love Zero no Tsukaima.
Well, for a start the protagonists for both have the same Seiyuus along with the same tsundere, loli main female role - the same jealousy. BUT, Zero has (in my opinion) a better romantic character development, though this may just be due to Shakugan no Shana being unfinished. It has more humour and action, if you 'like' Shakugan no Shana you will 'love' Zero no Tsukaima.
There are little issues what resemble each others. In Zero no Tsukaima is talking sword, in Shakugan no Shana is talking amulet (+ book). In Zero no Tsukaima the maincharacter girl is powerful and fanatic, so in Shakugan no Shana. In Shakugan no Shana the maincharacter boy has got thought little... accident and is following the girl. Also, he want to become stronger. And so is in Zero no Tsukaima too.
And also, Shana and Louise has the same seiyuu, but also Saito and Yuuji has the same one so if you just listen to them, it's hard to tell which anime you're watching now.
Both are ecchi anime with some fighting and have about 90% of the same cast.
the mood and characters are pretty much similar. Girl falls for boy boy falls for girl. The girl however is pretty stubborn, but it all works out. If you liked this, youll definately like Zerno tsukaima, vise versa
The first similarity is probably the character's personalities, the very flashy and colorful art and a great mix of romance comedy, action and supernatural.
The plot in these two stories are very different, but the character relations are very similar. How are they similar? Well lets just say the female character dominates the male character....=/
Very similar in many ways. Main female characters have the same personality and fall for the main male character.
-In both storys the mainchara is thrown out of his normal world
-2 girls fight over his love
-The guy gains great strength
If you like little annoying girl with magical abilities who is very loud and loves a normal boy (main character) and humiliates him because of that, it's the best thing you can get if we speak about anime. In addition, both of them (Louise Zero & Shana) are shown as very strong warriors or with secret power but in the course of time we can see their helplessness (but in the end they save the world anyway)
Similar character relations and similar characters voiced by the same seiyuus. Powerful girl + guy who wants to become stronger. Both shows have quite the same feelings and I loved both of them.
This two shows are essentially the same in every aspect aside from the setting. You have your male lead who is powerless and the female lead that looks down on him because of his lack of power at first. The male then becomes stronger in order to protect the female all the while getting abused and whipped by the female... and eventually they fall in love. Even the voice actors of both the male and female leads are the same people in both shows. If you have watched Shana, and you start to watch Zero, you will be expecting an "Urusai Urusai Urusai" at just about every point int the show. it's a little disappointing that it never comes :)
If you liked Shana, you will like Zero no Tsukamia and vice versa. There is no ands, ifs, or buts.
Not only do they both star a prepubescent girl who’s supposedly very powerful, but her power hasn’t been fully awaken yet, they also feature a clueless guy who basically follows her orders. And of course they both somehow fall in love with each other, but have a hard time expressing so.
Actually, they're very similar. Main characters are really alike. The way they defeat enemies, all about proud, love and attitude. They're both awesome series.
Both female main characters are the strong ones. The guy main character starts off weak. However, unlike Zero no Tsukaima, it's not really a harem... since only two girls like the guy.
both guys get a new way of life after meeting the girl, they are both special and both girls have the same character and almost the same looks so you'll get almost the same feeling from both animes....
A bit of magic and the main character, who can not admit to that he loves his subordinate
The two main characters share the same voice actors. Shana is also a tsundere like Louise; looking at one reminds me of the other.
They seem to have the same air to them, plus Shana and Louise have similar personalities, But as you find out their abilities are quite different.
Heroine very similar(and actual same voice actor)
Both of them shares the same seiyuus, contains a Tsundere as the lead character, similiar character developments, same enjoyment, etc.
Zero no Tsukaima has more ecchi, comedy, and medieval settings. while Shakugan no Shana has more battles and modern settings.
If you like Shakugan no Shana, Zero no Tsukaima is highly recommended unless you're an anti-ecchi.
and if you liked Zero no Tsukaima, Shakugan no Shana should be fine for you.
both female protagonist gets to have a weaker guy by their sides...though these guys are actually the source of their strength...shana and louise also have the same level of "strictness" and behavior when jealous...zero no tsukaima focuses more on magic and sorcery while shakugan no shana involves god-likes and soul eaters...or something like that
Both animes have tsundre female main characters, as well as pathetic male co-lead characters. The men grow stronger to protect and be with their partners, and love blossoms. Love triangles also form in the animes. There is more humour in the zero no Tsukamia series than the Shakugan no shana, but magic is a huge theme in both, except that the latter sees it as being more supernatural.
the main charecturs are all alike ther ...even thesame voice actors
Shakugan no Shana has a lot of similarities to Zero no Tsukaima: From seiyuu's (Rie Kugimiya, Satoshi Hino, Ayako Kawasumi), flat-chested loli's with great power (Louise, Shana), almost useless guys but with hidden power (Saito, Yuji), love rivals that are completely opposite to the main character (Siesta, Kazumi), magical elements and, of course, romance. Both anime's has also its own atmosphere that would make you love them for its differences.
Both animes have a stubborn girl who doesnt admit that she loves a guy
They share almost the entire cast.
Similar Tsundere type theme anime. The plot is not nearly as heavy but the character development is just as good as Shana. The female leads are nearly identical except there is some role reveral with the males. Shana is the protector where as Louise is the protected.
Not only sharing most of the same cast, the character's personalities are somewhat similar, and in both of them, the female lead character meets a "regular" boy, doesnt seem to accept him at first, then falls for him and can't express her feelings. Also, girls other than the female lead are interested in the boy...
The way the story advances is almost the same.. with the female characters hopelessly in love with the main male character but are always in denial.. which adds to the comedy of the anime =) Plus, both are a MUST-WATCH and the plots although different in certain ways, are just simply awesome with many twists thrown in at many unexpected parts.
i dont know what to say.it's just that both of these series are extremely similar.just watch it then u'll know why..enjoy:)
Everyone compares the two together, but these shows are both great. It's a story that has two characters that are forced to work together and forced to rely on each other, bringing them closer. Lots of drama and action. I recommend all seasons of both. And Shakugan no Shana is said to be getting a third season too, so that's always a good reason to start a show.
In both series a normal boy is dragged into a strange new world. while they are at first, know nothing about this new world, they later on try to help the female lead fight battles. it starts off with the female lead ingoring and mistreating the male lead but later on fall in love with them. it turns out in both shows that the seemingly normal boy happens to be special (SNS)Yuji has the Reiji maigo and (ZNT)Saito is a Gundalfr. SNS has more romance and action, while ZNT has comedy and ecchi.
In plot the stories are different but in characters they are very similar especially the female protagonist they are both tsundere types and the voice actress is the same. The entire cast is mostly the same.
Both of the main girls are alike and the sidekick guy as well. So much i often get the guy characters confused
Same tsundere, same boy, different setting.
in both animes the main character its a tsundere girl.
Same type of 'Tsundere' female lead
The main character of the anime is a tsundere and both anime involves fighting people/monsters and the male protagonist helped during those times to prevent disasters. The tsundere and the male main character fell in love and there are also other characters who love the male protagonist as well.
Both have the same leading pair of voice actors which most know. While the stories are different, the tales do have a lot of the same qualities. Following a young women of the Tsudere genre with a young man who slowly becomes something to the girl. Plenty of epic adventures and misunderstandings. If you enjoyed one you are sure to enjoy the other.
Both are REALLY similar, and if you love tsunderes (I do :3) you will love SnS and ZnT.
Both have a nice understanding guy with a tsundere romance, with other girls also falling for the nice guy and the tsundere getting jealous over it (the predominant reasons some of you people continue watching the series after 5 episode or so).
The main tsundere character (and some other characters too) also possess Magical powers to fight of the antagonist of the series and the nice understanding guy acting as her assistant.
Both of the tsundere are flat. :P
Shakugan no Shana, Zero no Tsukaima, Hidan no Aria, and Toradora are exactly the same. character wise.
Louise, Shana, Aria, and Taiga are all girls with a petite figure but are set on making the male protagonist, Saito, Yuji, Kinji, and Ryuji their 'slave'.
Hidan no Aria and Shakugan no Shana both involve fighting and missions.
Toradora and Zero no Tsukaima both are more focused on school life and shoujo. However, I am sure, you will find that ALL of them are the same because of the protagonist, and all four anime are INCREDIBLY AMAZING.
Despite the looks of both these animes, Shakugan No Shana and Zero No Tsukaima have one or two things that are similar. First of all, the relationships that are in both animes are almost similiar because it contains one hero and one heroine will have a differcult time to get together since there is always a distraction or someone getting in the way. Second, both heroines of these two animes have a similiar personality except for the fact that Shana doesn't punish Yuji for doing such pervented actions since Yuji is hardly pervented, but Lousie does punish Saito; and also they have different powers.
Same voice actors for both main character, Comedy, Action, Same production
Leads feature the same voice actors as well as some of the other cast.
They both have Tsundere type lead heroines in both stories share similar relationships with there counterparts.
Both main charas are tsundere, Fantasy, good storyline and both the same voice actor.
Well these two animes are kinda similar i say because they both have two main characters that are meant to be together. Not only that but that after a while of watching these series you will find yourself unable to stop watching and very attached to these shows.
The main characters (a boy and a girl) are very similar in both series, and are in fact voiced by the same two voice actors. Besides that, it stays true to confused emotions, first love romantic comedy aspects.
Zero no Tsukaima is a more-harem, more-ecchi, more comedic counterpart to Shakugan no Shana. If you enjoyed Shakugan no Shana and are looking for something light-hearted and enjoyable, and aren't put off by the aforementioned themes you will enjoy Zero no Tsukaima.
Both involve Tsundere mains -although Shana's main is more of the just doesn't know type
Both have to deal with protecting a city/kingdom/whatever
Both have a prominent romance aspect
Shakugan has a lot less comedy though, but that doesn't mean it has more action
Both MC's are also loli-type
and both try letting their main partner go at times
They just give off a similar vibe, both are really awesome :D
Both have leading female characters with various powers and are helped by male characters throughout the stories. Both feature various enemies and monsters to defeat.
Both have romance and action, the voice actors for the leads are the same and the male lead is liked by the surrounding female characters
Shakugan no Shana and Zero no Tsukaima take a weak and confused boy, And turn them into a magic, Sword wielding powerhouse, As the characters build their strained relationships together as well as going on many adventures and mishaps, Both are great action shows with funny moments and developing romantic moments. These shows do a great job at keeping the story compelling and fun to watch
Both of these shows are fantasy/action with plenty of drama and romance mixed in . The characters are not very similar nor are the settings. However, both worlds are very interesting and fun to learn about and both shows have a similar feeling while watching them.

Both are set in a world that is quite normal on the first look (one is a bit more futuristic though) but involve supernatural occurrences, like magicians or people with abnormal powers.
The atmosphere is quite similar, though the plot of Shakugan no Shana is a lot darker/heavier at the start of the show.
To Aru is basically SnS with magic instead of swords or the other powers and a bit more comedy. Animation is quite similar, due to the fact both anime are by JC Staff. Not that it matters, but the openings are also by the same person. Overall, To Aru simply gave off a similar vibe to SnS.
Supernatural main girl, guy with hidden powers and similar plot ^^
In both of these series the lead boy is made to be with to the lead girl due to reasons revolving around magic. Also, the story lines are both based around magic and the like.
Shana and Index are both made from the same staff team. Both are J.C Staff productions and they share a lot of similarities in terms of animation. And both their OP songs are from Kawada Mami, which sang both of the first Shakugan no Shana OPs.
The shows give a very similar feel to each other. Neither should be missed.
Very similar style and has many similarities. If you like one of these, you will definitely like the other.
Hmm ..... smilar story line , similar heroes but this time guy is a big hero , of course exist little romantic plot . That anime is very good in my opinion , one of the best i this Fall ....
- Both have a similar animation / art style
- They both involve magic and magical fights
- They both have lots of vague and complex love situations with some awkward moments
I love J.C. Staff and Index is just like Shana without the tsundereness. Character designs are very similar in these two animes. It's just more J.C. Staff goodness. Can't get enough of J.C. Staff.
Both are from the same staff team, both are similar in animation and plot (kinda) Both have OPs sung by the same person.
To Aru Majutsu no Index is on a higher level than Shana at .. well.. everything. But they deal with similar eerie and supernatural situations, have teenagers which get in these weird moments that change their live's forever. Though some characters are similar, both shows are different on a lot of things, but they share the same feeling when watching them.
Both shows have very similar art. Both have opening songs sung by Mami Kawada. Plot is similar as new people with new supernatural powers keep coming and affect protagonists in some way. Extremely similar feel.
Main female protagonist with special powers + male protagonist with hidden powers. Maguc + relationships. Both shows share the similar feeling.
The magic battles, the character types, the humor....
I don't know what else I should list.
And there's of course the Shana-tan and Index-tan specials.
both series are about magic and action, same studio, and similar feeling. if you like Index, then you might like Shakugan no Shana, and vice-versa
Both series have Action,Comedy and a supernational feel to them.
if you like shana you might just like Index as well.
Both SnS and Index are produced by J.C. and incorporate much of the same magical elements. As expected, the art and animation employed in both are very similar, and overall they portray similar moods and tones (Index is like SnS with less moe).
Both are made by J.C. Staff, and both involve a male character with an odd power meeting a tsundere female character. Yet another similarity is that both have to do with magic and special powers. If you liked one, you'll most likely enjoy the other.
Both series contain the same vivid feeling. First, we have the normal boy who gets involved into a world that he's not too familiar of. Additionally, the main boy is virtually useless but is surprisingly hardworking and strives to protect what he cares about.
Both series also contain supernatural elements involving magic.
Both series also are produced by J.C. Staff even the music has a similar feel.
Both series also has intertwined stories drawn from various angles involving the other main and supporting characters.
Comedy involved, Team battle, Same production, Magical
-flame haze vs tomogara = science vs religion
-Similar character designs
-same production staff
-main male character has no powers
