'One Punch Man' Additional Cast Announced

The combined 36th and 37th issue of Young Jump magazine, to be released on August 6, will announce more cast and theme song details for the upcoming TV action series One Punch Man.

Cast
Fubuki: Saori Hayami (Akagami no Shirayuki-hime)
Sweet Mask: Mamoru Miyano (Steins;Gate)

JAM Project (Garo: Honoo no Kokuin) will be performing the anime's opening theme, and Hiroko Moriguchi (Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam) will be performing the anime's ending theme. Each theme will be a CD single, releasing on October 21 and November 18, respectively.

A second preview video has also been released.

One Punch Man is a series that follows the adventures of Saitama, an average-looking fellow with a bald head and lifeless expressions, who is actually a superhero and bored of battling weak opponents. He has trained himself to the point where his hair has fallen out. As result of his training, he has become so powerful that he can defeat enemies with a single punch.

The series is scheduled to premiere on TV Tokyo in Fall 2015.

iirc, zombieman appeared at the garou arc? correct me if i'm wrong though

can't wait for that then if they make it upto garou arc..

He appeared at the beginning of the boros arc, the problem is king and fubuki don't speak (and in the case of fubuki, appear) until the pre-garou arc.

I generally always expected a 1 cour series since the manga chapters are insanely short sometimes but if it really decides to go far enough possibly past where the murata version is at then maybe it'll have a 2 cour length

and wow, another anime with an all-star cast! is that a regular Madhouse budget?

I know it's foolish to get extremely hyped because it will only end in disappointment, but there are absolutely no red flags for this adaptation so far. Everything is looking great.

I like fear and loathing but for One Punch man it would have been retarded.

Hayamin as Fubuki? My lower regions are not ready. Miyano is a perfect fit for Sweet Mask, I had no one else in mind voicing him.

I know it's foolish to get extremely hyped because it will only end in disappointment, but there are absolutely no red flags for this adaptation so far. Everything is looking great.
