A compilation movie for the Yaku nara Mug Cup mo (Let's Make a Mug Too) television anime was announced on Wednesday.

The compilation movie, featuring edited footage, is set to screen in Tajimi City's Valor Culture Hall in March 2025 and will be released on YouTube later. If the movie is well received, a compilation movie of the second season will be screened.

Produced by Nippon Animation, the 12-episode television anime aired in Spring 2021. The second season aired the following Fall. Crunchyroll streamed both seasons with English subtitles worldwide, excluding Asia.

The anime series adapts Osamu Kajiwara's slice of life manga, which has been released online for free by production company Planet since February 2012. The manga promotes Gifu Prefecture's Tajimi City and is part of the Yaku nara Mug Cup mo project that started in 2010 to stimulate the local economy. The 38th volume was released online on April 15, and the 39th print volume went on sale on April 20.

Kajiwara serialized a second manga, Yaku nara Mug Cup mo: Comicalize!, in Manga Cross from January 2021 to August 2022. Akita Shoten published the second and final volume in December 2022.
