Hirano Aya's Fans Make a Fuss Over Her Ring

According to J-Cast, a picture posted in the official web diary of Hirano Aya caused a turmoil among her fans. It was taken at a meal with Sasaki Nozomi and there was a ring on her left ring finger.

The picture in question posted on April 11th

Number of fans jumped to the conclusion that she got engaged and went into an uproar in 2channel threads. Some fans attributed her recent sickness to the anxiety resulted from her "marriage" and one of the fans threatened to kill her.

Spacecraft Entertainment, the management office of Hirano, replied to J-Cast's inquiry that she hasn't been engaged and she was fully recovered from the illness. Hirano Aya posted another picture with Sasaki Nozomi and there was no ring on her finger.

That fan should learn not to get in the way of his idol's happiness. Whoever Miss Hirano marries, it's her own choice and the fans should accept it. Don't be selfish!

If they act this way over a ring, then I'd hate to see what they'll do when she actually gets married. Also for someone to threaten her over this is sad, those people are pathetic.

God, this is just embarrassing. It's irritating to even be affiliated because we have similar hobbies (not stalking, being anime fans). One goes and says/does something stupid to make the whole group look bad. I'm not familiar with the voice actress, but I feel really bad for her. Yeah, she didn't have to be an idol, but that doesn't make it her fault. It's not wrong to expect rational behavior from people. It's unsettling that someone is irrational about someone else's happiness.

Since when do idols deserve to have zero respect simply because they voice act and model? Would the insane fans prefer she had never come up on the radar in the first place? Think about all the talented people who haven't BECAUSE of this sort of things.
