24 Year Old Man Arrested For Threatening VA Hirano Aya

According to FNN News, a 24 year old blue-collar worker was arrested for posting threatening comments to Hirano Aya on 2channel BBS. Tokyo Metropolitan Police said he has already confessed to the crime. He had been complaining about Fuji TV's variety program Pikaru no Teiri, which Hirano Aya appeared in, and posted "I killed Hirano Aya", "She is dead", "I'll blast Fuji TV to terminate her program." on 2channel and twitter last April and May.

Hirano Aya announced in her twitter that she has ended the contract with music label Lantis and her activity as a singer was suspended for an indefinite period.

That is such a pedantic distinction to try to make though. When someone is sending you tweets multiple times a day saying "死ね死ね死ね死ね死ね" ad nauseum, that's kind of fucked up no matter the verb tense. It's so wasteful to try to defend that kind of thing.

I'm not defending him, i'm just saying that jail is a bit excessive in this case.
If it wasn't for Hirano Aya being the target this story would never have been told and the guy would have ended up with a warning.

Well in this case 'hate' is a big strong. I do not hate Hirano Aya, I despise her.
As for the object of my hate it is no worst of better than the object of your hate, simply because it coincide with what you like does not mean that my hate is worst than yours.

You can, although I think it misguided and stupid - and a waste of time. Really, "fandom" started all this crap by flipping out originally when she dared to be something other than their docile, obedient little virtual idol "girlfriend". While i'm not a Hirano fan, I'm amazed at the hate towards her for only having a problematic life. And lets be honest, who doesn't have one. That, and the fact that she's famous, or rather infamous, wich sounds like jealousy. But most likely, this guy must be one of those deluded otakus who blames her for spoiling the "perfect" and innocent idol image. I can't really undestand that, and seems kind of crazy in my opinion.
