Main Staff and Cast of 'Gaiken Shijou Shugi' Announced
Netflix Japan revealed the main staff, cast, the first trailer, and a key visual (pictured) for the anime series adapting Tae-Jun Park's Lookism manhwa on Wednesday. Produced by Studio Mir, the series will debut worldwide on Netflix under the title Gaiken Shijou Shugi on November 4.Staff

Music: Kyung-Hoon Han (What's Up, Fox? live-action drama)
South Korean boy band ATEEZ will perform the theme song "Like That."

Jin Ho Bin (Takahito Saitama): Daisuke Ono (Fuuto Tantei)
Duk Hwa Pyeon (Hinto Kon): Tsuguo Mogami (D.Gray-man Hallow)
Zoe Park (Kagawa Mirei): Saori Hayami (RWBY: Hyousetsu Teikoku)
Mi Jin Kim (Mizuki Sakane): Natsu Yorita (Koisuru Asteroid)
Soo Jung Choi (Akari Nerima): Reina Aoyama (Senpai ga Uzai Kouhai no Hanashi)
Park began drawing the action drama manhwa on the Naver Webtoon (now Line Webtoon) webcomic portal in November 2014. The 20th volume shipped on May 20. LINE Webtoon began releasing the title in English in June 2017. Line Manga also serializes the manhwa in Japanese, with Kadokawa publishing it in print format.

Oh! I’m sorry I don’t actually keep up with his recent stuff, but from what I know him from,, in Korea he wasn’t initially known for Lookism, but for his store & his reality tv appearances, it was after that that Lookism blew up for its story & not because of who the author solely was, which I find admirable, that’s what I meant~ as I heard a lot bout Lookism

omfg, many years ago i watched park tae joon on some uljjang reality show, i cant believe years later his webtoon is actually getting adapted, wow he's always achieved so much & works hard to get where he is, even before lookism he had some online shop, glad for him! i think i will give this a go, i've heard A LOT bout lookism.

Ah, now I understand your point better. Thanks for the explanation! I usually get very salty when people in show business try to get creative to get some extra popularity (you know, all those singing tiktokers and youtubers or comics from actors), but if it really has some artistic value, then why not?
