The official website for the television anime adaptation of Kenkyo na Circle's Tensei shitara Dainana Ouji Datta node, Kimama ni Majutsu wo Kiwamemasu (I Was Reincarnated as the 7th Prince so I Can Take My Time Perfecting My Magical Ability) light novel revealed additional cast, staff, theme song artists, a key visual (pictured), and the main promotional video on Saturday. The anime is scheduled to premiere on TV Tokyo in April 2024.

VTuber Kaede Higuchi (Eiyuu Kyoushitsu) is performing the opening theme "Kyunrious." Akane Kumada (Cheat Kusushi no Slow Life: Isekai ni Tsukurou Drugstore) will perform the ending theme "Happy no Himitsu." The opening theme song is previewed in the promotional video below.

Jin Tamamura (Rakudai Kishi no Cavalry) is directing the anime at Tsumugi Akita Animation Lab. R・O・N (Dorohedoro) is composing the music.

Kenkyo na Circle began writing the adventure fantasy novel on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in October 2019. Kodansha acquired the novel and began publishing it under their Kodansha Ranobe Bunko imprint in July 2020, with illustrations by Meru.. Kodansha shipped the seventh volume last December.

A manga adaptation by Yousuke Kokuzawa began serialization on Kodansha's Magazine pocket website and app in June 2020. The 13th volume shipped last November, with the 14th volume scheduled to be released on February 8.

Kodansha USA licensed the manga in English in November 2021. The seventh volume is set to go on sale on February 13.

The manga plot is completely ridiculous, reminds me a lot of Eminence in Shadow with how self aware it is, and the art is God tier.

The main character looks like a girl, even though technically he's supposed to be a dude, but I guess they just decided to confuse everybody.

Dont know how anime will turn out, but manga is pretty great

As a manga reader this was one of my favorite isekai reads simply because of how ridiculous it is. Its completely unpredictable what angle the story will go into next and I love that!

Wow they actually kept all the designs as is, even the brown choco loli. Tsumugi Akita Animation Lab is turning out to be a pretty damn good studio!
