Production company Bandai Namco Filmworks opened an official website on Friday for a television anime adaptation of Kenkyo na Circle's Tensei shitara Dainana Ouji Datta node, Kimama ni Majutsu wo Kiwamemasu (I Was Reincarnated as the 7th Prince so I Can Take My Time Perfecting My Magical Ability) light novel, revealing the main staff, cast, a teaser promo and visual (pictured).

Makoto Koichi (100-man no Inochi no Ue ni Ore wa Tatteiru) and Ai Fairouz (Kage no Jitsuryokusha ni Naritakute!) are joining the cast as Lloyd de Saloum and Grimo, respectively.

Jin Tamamura (Rakudai Kishi no Cavalry) is directing the television anime at Tsumugi Akita Animation Lab.

Kenkyo na Circle began writing the adventure fantasy novel on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in October 2019. Kodansha acquired the novel and began publishing it under their Kodansha Ranobe Bunko imprint in July 2020, with illustrations by Meru.. Kodansha shipped the fifth volume on July 1. The series has over 2.5 million cumulative copies of its volumes in circulation.

A manga adaptation by Yousuke Kokuzawa began serialization on Kodansha's Magazine pocket website and app in June 2020. The eighth volume shipped on August 9, with the ninth volume scheduled for a November 9 release.

Kodansha USA licensed the manga in English in November 2021. The sixth volume went on sale digitally on August 2.

Synopsis
Prince Lloyd wasn't always a prince...in fact, his previous life is one he remembers perfectly: he was a sorcerer, of sorts. So when he was forced to reincarnate, he decided to continue his studies, prince of the realm or no! But his new life has its own sets of challenges...including being a 10-year-old! What's the 7th prince/sorcerer to do?! (Source: Kodansha USA)

frankly the people looking at a manga expecting to be disappointed and trying to find fault in a manga: JUST STOP
you're the same species as people trying to look at a movie expecting it to be bad and then saying it is bad not because the movie is bad, but because you were conditioned to not like the movie in the first place.

I'm not saying this manga is good or bad. but for one, I'd say it is quite generic, it's basically what would happen if we adapted OPM into a fantasy world.
so in that way the concept has already been used and done. however, i find the manga to be very entertaining.

the first two chapters clearly introduced what we could expect from the manga and in that sense it did not disappoint.
So if you don't like the first two chapters stop hurting yourself by looking into something you don't like.

Well you're the one who saids its generic so tell me how. Ps i read the manga so

You'll find that actually it was you who came in with the claim that it wasn't generic. I quote; "this isn't as generic as you people seem to be." That's what you should by right try and substantiate, having presented it, and hence why I asked.

And since, as you've just said, you've read the manga, you should be entirely able to, so I'm led up the path of thinking you don't really have anything to go off of. That you've deemed it "not generic" without really knowing anything about what makes a work so, and that rather affirms my earlier point. You're welcome to demonstrate the opposite, of course.

After read 104 chapter manga, I can say it's generic with some op protag, though the story is pretty interesting. But after few arc, I see the pattern and become boring.

If your criteria for liking a work is it being coloured in, I think we can all safely ignore your recommendation.

But by all means, go into how this isn't generic, if that's what you want to argue.

LOL you read 2 pages and that was it? man you guys are so dumb. The mc isn't a girl at all; he is a 10 year old prince with a recarniated soul of a crazed loving magic person. This isn't generic as you people seem to be. Go read the manga, i recommend it and 50 percent of the art is colored

This could be fun and crazy ride, just hope for high quality of magic animation and not too fast pacing.
(think this as something in lines of onepuch man, over the top, OP and a lot of humor and a lot of chibi parts)

Not a ass guy, but this is one has best ass in manga. (too bad he isn't loli, but on other hand we have other fun characters who fill this role)

This shota can pass as loli easy, I mean he looks like a typical loli from the LO imprint of Tenma Comics or something.

Generic garbage gets adapted all the time while anime projects of great manga like Pluto and Uzumaki get pushed back. And a lot of great manga that could get an anime adaptation never does. People are raving about how terrible the Western entertainment industry is but in truth the anime/manga industry isn't much better.

Here's the thing:

As long as people like me keep watching and spending money on them, they will keep being made.

I don't know whether to be happy or sad about this. Knew eventually it was going to get a show but a lot of isekai that get anime adaption is either poor or mediocre (not all). However, I keep my hope up for it.

Thank you, trusted industry analyst that happens to post on a MAL news thread.

Legit... like would it really hurt anybody to have more shoujo anime produced? There's literal thousands of shoujo manga out there compared to anime!

Seriously, you'd think something like Fairy Cube would get picked up already...

Seeing how angel sanctuary was handled and by hal film maker of all people this is a black mark on them so i'd be wary honestly if it were to be adapted. Maybe if it was the studio who did fruba's reboot then yeah i can have a more optimistic disposition to an adaptation to any shojo in general being adapted.

Looks interesting I can't wait until it gets a release date ☺️ soo excited the teaser was intriguing 😌❤️

I mean ppl have there own opinions about wat they think is trash nd etc.. but I watch any nd everything nd if I'm not sold by the 1st episode, or the opening then it's a no go or if I make it to the end nd its a cliffhanger or It didn't end how I wanted it to then it will go on my dud list 🤷‍♀️ even if the manga is trash I don't judge anything without giving it a chance first but thats juss me...

😌😉
