Synopsis (TV Anime)
The distant future. After reaching its peak, Earth's population fell into decline. AI was developed to help preserve the species and manage the ecosystem; a grand experiment in human diversity. Through genetic engineering, a diverse array of peoples, including beastfolk, magical beings, and more, was created to live in a diverse city separated into walled "clusters."
Each cluster developed a unique culture, befitting of the people that lived there. Their lives, and the system, is continually maintained by the AI to ensure survival. (Source: Polygon Pictures)

The designs of the different places look really cool, but nothing else stands out. Premise has the potential to be very good, but like most mixed media projects, the story will probably take a turn in the wrong direction and ruin all that expectation and potential. Not liking the character designs either, makes it seem like this is based on a younger age group. 3DCG seems decent but who knows what the end product will be like. Still woulda preferred 2D.
Yeah, the synopsis sounds really interesting. But I think it looked much better as a manga or a completely original anime.

It seems like might be an action/sol from the PV if anything.

The synopsis seems interesting enough too so hopefully the finished product ends up being pretty good. I wasn't a big fan of Back Arrow but I know via Code Geass that Taniguchi has it in him to make something great
P.S. Who or wtf is SFF (The name next to original story)

Is it wrong for me to believe that Goro Taniguchi's best days are behind him? No, seriously, I watched almost, extra-empahsis on almost, every post-Code Geass anime the guy has done and while some of them are good, none of them are the smashing hits you'd expect from a director of Taniguchi's caliber. He's basically the Brian Michael Bendis of anime.
