'Kamisama ni Natta Hi' Unveils Supporting Cast, Second Promo

The official website of the Kamisama ni Natta Hi (The Day I Became a God) television anime revealed additional cast, a second visual (pictured), and a second promotional video on Saturday. The anime is scheduled to premiere on October 11 at 12:00 a.m. on Tokyo MX, BS11, Gunma TV, Tochigi TV, ABC TV, and ME-TV, among other stations.

Hikari Jinguuji: Haruka Terui (Yuuki Yuuna wa Yuusha de Aru)
Kako Tengan: Yuu Shimamura (Bungou Stray Dogs)
Hiroto Suzuki: Chiharu Shigematsu (Concrete Revolutio: Choujin Gensou)
CEO: Kikuko Inoue (Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari)
Raita Oguma: Kenichirou Matsuda (Vinland Saga)
Daichi Narukami: Tarusuke Shingaki (Fate/Zero)
Tokiko Narukami: Ryouka Yuzuki (Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Comedy wa Machigatteiru.)

Yoshiyuki Asai (Charlotte) is helming the anime at P.A. Works, and Jun Maeda (Angel Beats) is penning the script and composing the music. Manabu Nii (Carole & Tuesday chief animation director) is the character designer and chief animation director.

Just from the PV I can tell this is going to be a rushed mess... it's going to be a 12 episodes anime rushed in the last quarter just like angel beat and charlotte...

I'm not expecting a lot but I'll watch it.

The new PV comes just a few weeks before the show actually airs, huh?
Still excited to see if this really will end up being "the most heart-breaking anime of all time" lol. The new key visual looks cute, too!

Definitely one cour. Knowing it’s PA works animating this one, the animation doesn’t look that good as their other works

yep i know they have anime adaptations but im too lazy to watch them lol maybe if im that motivated to watch them

Everything has its time. I first learned about Clannad in 2008, but only watched in 2016.

Jun Meda and P.A. Works again. With the promise of nakige style. Damn, what god am I supposed to pray to so this potential masterpiece doesn't screw up?

@deg Read any of Jun's VNs like Clannad or AIR. If it is that good, it will be precious.

It’s a good sign that the Production is complete or at least nearly, according to Hanae Natsuki-san.

I hope the Cast comments (which was on Japanese television at 00:00 JST) and whatnot will be available on YT tomorrow morning for me.

A few other popular titles under Maeda Jun’s have happy endings too. Not going to list them in case it spoils someone.

This is cool and all but I want to know the episode count. I don't care how good the visuals look, I don't care how good the premise is, and I don't care how good the characters are; if this is going to have the same episode count as Charlotte then it's going to suffer the same fate as Charlotte did.

Charlotte had a strong start and a strong first half but all that didn't matter because of how rushed the last 2-3 episodes were. I'm crossing my fingers that this show will have double the episodes as Charlotte did.

and i doubt this will have sad ending too since Angel Beats and Charlotte have happy endings
