The official website for Jun Maeda's (Angel Beats!) original anime project Kamisama ni Natta Hi (The Day I Became a God) revealed additional cast, staff, the first promotional video, and a key visual (pictured) on Saturday. The collaborative anime of Key, Aniplex, and P.A. Works will premiere on Tokyo MX, Gunma TV, Tochigi TV, BS11, ABC TV, and ME-TV in October 2020.

Synopsis
At the end of the last summer vacation of high school, Youta Narukami spends his days preparing for the university entrance exams, when a young girl named Hina suddenly appears, proclaiming herself as the "god of omniscience." Youta is confused and does not believe Hina when she tells him "The world will end in 30 days." After witnessing Hina's God-like predictive ability, Youta begins to believe her powers are real. Hina, who is innocent and childlike despite her supernatural powers, decides for some reason to stay at Youta's home. Thus begins the start of their lively summer before the end of the world.

I hope you do with 25 episodes, I don't like anything rushed.

I love Charlotte and Angel Beats.
I know it's hard to get a 2 cour in the anime industry.
But I'm still hoping it will be 24 episodes.

Ganbare!! :)

She looks like pink Index of ToAru franchise. xD

I hope it got a 2 cour show compared to what happened to Charlotte and Angel Beats.

Jun maeda it's 2020, you can't tell us another another drama between a Mr. generic MC and one or more moe girls whose relationship that not revolves around personality and character traits but some odd supernatural event that forces them to be together.

I'm really getting some Kannagi vibes from this one.
But Maeda being Maeda, the easygoing slapstick comedy of Kannagi will probably not be this thing's thing.
Still hyped, though.

Looks like Key is blocking everything off. Unlike with Charlotte and Angel Beats where you can think of what will happen in the future, this ends with the world literally ending and everyone dying, leaving no future at all, unless you pull something like Dragon Ball where someone wishes for everything to come back, making everything that happened pointless except for development.

The synopsis reminds me of the manga, I sold my life for ten thousand yen per year. Hope it's gonna be as good as that.

Hope the singer for the ED is still Aoi Tada, I like the ED for both Charlotte and Angel Beats.

You should beg for Aniplex for the 2-cours thing. They look like to be the primary producer of the anime while P.A. Works is mostly only animating the anime. I'm sure P.A. Works wouldn't oppose to do a 2-cours anime since their original anime tend to be 2-cours. Aniplex however....

I highly doubt that there will be 25 episodes, and I am honestly not going to get my hopes up for this.
Still looking forward to this nonetheless.

Amen! Please be 25 episodes, if necessary.

Anyway, that aside, we have got ourselves a wonderful staff and cast working on this, quite expectantly I suppose. Solid PV and a really chill looking key visual as well. Different from what I’d in mind for this but definitely stoked nonetheless, can’t wait to see this!

Damn, that visuals and character design looks dope. Based P.A Works, as always.

Now, my prayer for Jun Madea

Oh heavenly Madea,
Please don't let this suffer the same fate that stricken
thou works such as Charlotte and Angel Beats.
Thou shalt grant P.A Works thy courage
to allow they to give thy series more than 13 episodes
Please let thy animation be a beauty to our eyes
and the comedic scenes be plentiful

Repeat this holy phrases after me:
Please let it be 25 episodes
PLEASE let it be 25 episodes
PLEASE LET it be 25 episodes
PLEASE LET IT BE 25 EPISODES!!!!

In the name of the PA Works, the director of this show
and the holy Jun Madea
Amen!
