Smartphone RPG 'Onmyouji' Gets TV Anime in 2020

Chinese game developer NetEase announced a television anime based on its fantasy role-playing game Onmyouji on Thursday. Titled Onmyou Hyakki Monogatari, the anime series is scheduled to premiere in 2020. The announcement is commemorating the game's third anniversary.

Synopsis
In a time when demons and humans coexisted... Evil spirits from the underworld have begun a quest for power, strength, and dominance. The balance between the two worlds is now in jeopardy.

Fortunately, there's a group of gifted humans who can read the stars and draw amulets. They have the power to connect the two worlds, and even tame the spirits. They are willing to lay everything on the line to maintain peace and order between the two worlds. They are known as Onmyouji. (Source: NetEase, edited)

NetEase launched the adventure fantasy game for iOS and Android systems in China in June 2016, followed by Japan in February 2017 and in English in January 2018. The company ported the game for PC on Steam in April of the same year.

A short 12-episode net anime titled Yin Yang Shi: Ping An Wu Yu began streaming on bilibili in April 2018. The anime also aired under the title Onmyouji: Heian Monogatari in Japan on Tokyo MX in July that year. A second season of the net anime debuted on bilibili on August 17.

You clearly haven't play the game (moba and turn-based version), have you? The franchise have both great looks of male and female characters.

Who played the game, what does it look like? I heard that the franchise is popular among fujoshi, but that doesn't look like all-male work.

I'll give at least the anime a try.

The whole cast of this game in general consists of every A and possibly B talent around like just think of someone and they are probably there, with some digging around I found that Yui Ogura voices on of the characters in the game.

Wonderful! I used to play this awesome mobile game (as well as my all time favourite turn-based mobile RPG), and
in my view, it truly deserves anime adaptation. Awesome characters and beautiful story line. Can't wait to watch it!

It's the age of mobage anime adaption. If you can create anime to advertise manga/light novel, no reason you can't do the same for mobage.
