Light Novel 'Tatoeba Last Dungeon Mae no Mura no Shounen ga Joban no Machi de Kurasu Youna Monogatari' Gets TV Anime

The GA Fes 2019 event announced a television anime adaptation of Toshio Satou's Tatoeba Last Dungeon Mae no Mura no Shounen ga Joban no Machi de Kurasu Youna Monogatari (Suppose a Kid from the Last Dungeon Boonies Moved to a Starter Town) on Saturday.

Synopsis
Lloyd is a novice adventurer whose dream is to discover "true strength" in the capital he's always admired, despite growing up with neighbors who always considered him weak. The story starts with him departing from his hometown, which just so happens to be located right next to...one of the most dangerous dungeons in the world?! Lloyd may think of himself as powerless, but when he goes to the city that serves as the starter town for adventurers, the difference between him and everyone else couldn't be starker! The adventure fantasy novel won the Grand Prize at the 8th GA Bunko Taisho in 2015 and has been published under the GA Bunko imprint since February 2017, featuring illustrations by Nao Watanuki (Asura Cryin'). SB Creative will publish the eighth volume on November 15. The novel series has over 1 million copies of its volumes in print.

A manga adaptation by Hajime Fusemachi began serializing in Gangan Online in September 2017. Square Enix shipped the fourth compiled volume on September 12.

Yen Press licensed the light novel in English this March and plans to publish the first volume on November 5. Square Enix licensed the manga adaptation in English under its new Manga & Books imprint this past July. The first volume is slated for a March 24, 2020 release.

He looks kinda kingdom hearts-like with a Sabo sounding voice, and the synopsis is promising enough so I think I'll give this a try.

But god, nowadays people will look at fucking Made in Abyss and cry about Isekais. IT'S NOT AN ISEKAI. Some people just need to read the synopsis before forming their opinions.

You know what, I don't even care anymore. Mushoku Tensei is getting a good(?) adaptation, so I will for once look past all the isekai trash we are getting.

No one is copying anyone on the anime industry or copy pasting. There's a thing called manga and light novel industry with hundreds and hundreds of works that are out on the market by different publishers and publications of them so of course you'll have works being similar.
