In any case, they will be promoted as something like an idol franchise, given my past experience with Bushiroad. Almost all of their projects are idols + various setting like Takarazuka or rock bands. They even have almost the same audience in the west, especially yuri fans and thumbler's lesbians, lol.
This strategy of Bushiroad is just called Live Entertainment which is what they did with Revue for the musical and with Bang Dream for the concerts and albums. Similar thing that Love Live did with their idols and other companies did as well in their multimedia franchises.
This does not contradict the fact that all their franchises have traditional stuff for idol projects. And given that Love Live's game was their most financially successful project, this formula will be copied for a very long time.
