The 16th issue of this year's Weekly Shounen Jump revealed main staff and the second key visual (pictured) for the Dr. Stone anime series on Monday. The anime adaptation of Riichiro Inagaki and Boichi's post-apocalyptic manga produced by TMS Entertainment will air in July 2019.

Staff
Director: Shinya Iino (Made in Abyss assistant director)
Series Composition: Yuuichirou Kido (Nanatsu no Taizai: Seisen no Shirushi script)
Character Design: Yuuko Iwasa (D.Gray-man animation director)
Music: Tatsuya Katou (Medaka Box), Hiroaki Tsutsumi (Rokudenashi Majutsu Koushi to Akashic Records), Yuki Kanesaka (Kekkai Sensen & Beyond insert song composition)

The adventure sci-fi manga has been serialized in Weekly Shounen Jump since March 2017. Shueisha published the ninth volume on February 4, with the tenth volume planned for an April 4 release.

VIZ Media published the first three chapters of the manga in English concurrently with the Japanese release as a part its Jump Start initiative and later serialized the series regularly in their digital Weekly Shonen Jump magazine. The company's new Shounen Jump service now publishes the manga simultaneously with its Japanese release digitally, following the discontinuation of the digital magazine last December. The fifth volume went on sale on March 5.

Damn, pretty solid Staff right there! Direction, Composition and Character Designs are in good hands and it’s cool to see three people in charge for the Music Department.

Highly looking forward to this! TMS Entertainment are rather busy this year with the full remake of Fruits Basket, which most likely will be two cours so Summer Season will be especially tough on the team, and other projects, but here’s to hoping they deliver their best nevertheless!

also this is TMS. the chance of it being long run is pretty high. however, they also has upcoming total remake of fruit basket and another lupin 3 project. so they may have shortage for staff. however for budget i don't tink they have any problem. conan just made very successful movie that make them swim with money. another thing to consider there is lot of rumor they also want to adapt zero no tea time since conan main series in constant hiatus. another surprise might come along from this studio.
